Paige Turner’s time to fulfill her New Year’s Eve resolution is almost up. She and her book club friends resolved to use the heroines from their favorite romance novels as inspiration for the year. Paige’s resolution had her going through a romance genre and trope checklist to try to lose her V-card, but what she found—besides making new friends—was self-discovery and the confidence to rival any heroine. Paige had used their inspiration to gain her dream job, but now it was time to finally find someone to punch that card.
Paige dives head first into the last part of the year with her own Roman vacation romance, motorcycle club romance, and hello sports romance! However, the heroines in her books never had the unexpected problems Paige faced trying to live out her hockey romance and football romance tropes. And what was she thinking going to an MMA fight? That’s just the beginning, though. It’s Halloween and time to live out as many paranormal tropes as possible in one night. Entering the holiday season, Paige goes from launching the book of her career to a New York City celebrity bachelor auction to heading home to save her small town’s bookstore at Christmas.
By the end of the year, Paige will have gone from bookworm to bookdragon. The questions who will be standing next to Paige when the ball drops on New Year’s Eve? And will Paige find more than just someone to punch that card, but someone to deliver her very own happily ever after?

Paige is on the next part of her whirlwind journey, this time starting in Rome. She comes across some entertaining characters, and old friends, and the entire time is torn between her interest in two men she just can't seem to fully choose between. She's edging her way towards the end of the year, and still hasn't fulfilled her resolution, but she's realizing she may just be fulfilled in other ways enough.

This was a great conclusion to the Paige Turner series as a whole. Paige has fully come into her own, is still taking risks, and letting herself develop meaningful friendships and relationships as the year progresses. Her professional life is satisfying, her friends are all coupling up, and she's getting the chance to get close to Max as a friend, while they message regularly each day.
There were only a few moments that pulled me out of this novel. I genuinely love the tongue-in-cheek nature of the book, but as a Canadian, falling back on a character saying "Surry aboot that" twice had me cringe. It'd be different if the author said he smelled like maple syrup or something, but using an overdone and false stereotype about how Canadians talk did have me rolling my eyes, and not in a fun way. The only other part that pulled me out was the home-town Christmas romance section about saving the local bookstore. I genuinely was hoping we'd get a section of Paige in her hometown, due to knowing that she grew up on a Christmas tree farm, as the setup was just way too good. Unfortunately that part of the book felt oddly rushed compared to the rest of the book. Especially with how her and Max's relationship slowly develops. It felt like he was tossed into the mania, and we ripped into a new phase of the relationship at a rapid pace.
From there it does recover though, and end off on a high! The ending reveal was amazing and fun and looking back I should have seen it. I love that I didn't and it ended up being the perfect trope reveal to pull the entire series together. I'm not a book re-reader but I genuinely want to reread the first two books to see the clues I missed that time around as we came to the conclusion. Also love that the author worked in some fun new book tropes, especially the masked man, the sports romance, and MC club romance. I was cackling through most of the Rome section at the start of the novel, even with a few moments of repetitive language missed.
All in all, this was such a fun series. It was hilarious to see a strong, brazen character living through her book tropes and finding love, and I truly hope the author writes more cheeky books like this.

Thank you to The Author Agency for the digital ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’ve found this book nice and fast-pacing and I didn’t have any troubles with the 3rd person’s POV, however some plot twists weren’t just for me. I encourage you to read this series in order. In this book we follow the last part of Paige’s journey to self discovery, walking through all kind of romance books tropes. I must admit that the first chapters captured my attention but then, through the middle of the book, my attention waned a little. The message, however, is so empowering and important to remember. To be bold in live and try to step out of our comfort zone, where the wild and fun things happen. Tropes you can find in this book: - Found family - Billionaires romance - friends to lovers - it’s always been you - shenanigans - secret identity - 3rd person POV
This book, although is open door, I found the spicy part mild. Some readers could consider it spicy-fade to black.
My ratings: 3/5⭐️ 1/5🌶️
I’ve received this book as an ARC and I’d like to thank Kathleen Brooks and her team at The Author Agency (thank you Brooke and Shauna) for letting me read this book in advance and allow me to give my honest opinion.
So, what irritates me is the ridiculousness of the alleged “mystery” of Mr. Paris. I thought it was Max from the beginning but stopped myself because how dumb would someone have to be to not recognize their friend when they are spending more than seconds together? Smell, energy, mannerisms alone can give that away. And, it sounds like, other than at the club, the other masks were not full face masks. Come on. So, that kind of ruined it for me.
The books were good enough, but truly were ridiculous and silly. I would have preferred a bit more reality, but they did keep me reading. 🤷🏻♀️

Oh my , Paige's is continuing her adventures in Italy. The fun is crossing borders and oceans and is taking an interesting turns. As always Paige is killing it at her work assignments and is having fun living all the tropes. Because real life and book world maybe alike and worlds apart at the same time. Paige is meeting new people and old friends. Think about a Roman vacation meets mafia. And than that welcome party at the airport . It was so fun and hilarious. And since Paige is back Max is everywhere always checking on her and saving her on her adventures. But at the back of Paige's mind Mr Paris is lingering after that club experience. If those two can be her dream man . Somewhere along the way watching her friends find love and relationship Paige changed her end goal for her adventurous year. She wants to have those friendships she made along the way and to find love . After one of her visits to the hospital the mystery with the vanishing ER doctor is solved. And another truth proven - the book community world is big and friends are everywhere and helping karma . I so loved Dracklen the bartender turned psychologist and him helping Paige figure out some very important things for her. But that Halloween party was such a surprise. And then that work situation rushing Paige in another trope adventure. Oh, and suddenly Max is getting to know her better and maybe he can be more for Paige if it wasn't for his girlfriend situation. And then that plot twist and Max going undercover only to surface just before Christmas and Paige going to her small home town. That whole small town experience was like a Hallmark movie. Only a little bit hotter... because Max follows her and they have their own Christmas story. Max was so supportive and caring and keeping Paige's best interests in mind. Oh, and they saved a bookstore from closing. The cherry on top was that book club meeting at Max's place where a New Year Resolution were made, some secrets were revealed and the mystery of Mr Paris was solved. And that was such a pleasant surprise and a great plot twist. And then reality and fantasy collided and Paige found her own fairy tale. This book was so good that I want to read the whole series again . So if you didn't started it don't hesitate you're on for a great adventure, a funny, hilarious and full of laughs and epiphanies and you'll love it.
Thanks to the author and The Author Agency for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book.
Holy Bookmarks! This is a difficult review to write, I apologize that it has taken so long to write. I just DO NOT want to say goodbye to Paige Turner and her friends! This has been such a fun series to read. This is the last book in the series, Paige Turner at the start of the series has a New Year's resolution to live the life of the heroines from her favorite romance novels and to lose her V-card. Through the series she had been able to find more confidence, friends, inspiration, her dream job. I love how much this FMC has changed and developed throughout each book. She truly is one of my favorite FMC of all time, and I have been reading forever! There are so many crazy hijinks in this third installment to the series. So many laugh out loud moments. I have loved all the characters in this series, main and supporting, they are all just amazing. I truly feel honored to have been fortunate enough to have been selected to be an ARC reader for this series. I prayed with each book to be selected as I needed to know where this story was headed. This final book to the series met every single one of my expectations. Kathleen Brooks, you need to know that this FMC, her friends and all the adventures will forever have my whole heart and live rent free with me! The author's way of storytelling, her humor throughout the story, the crazy adventures and the emotion that is felt when reading this will forever stay with me. This author has brought a whole new light and spin into my romance reading world. Book 1 to this series Kathleen Brooks was a new to me author. She has now become the author I must read more from so I can't wait to jump into her previous writings. I highly encourage everyone, if you are looking for a fun, full of laughs, mishaps, friends you did not know you needed book, this series is a MUST read! This is definitely in the comfort re-read world for me. This is a huge heartfelt thank you to the author agency and Kathleen Brooks for allowing me to read these advanced readers copy for my honest opinion!
If there was a modern day "Perils of Pauline" it would be Paige Tuner. I thought books 1 & 2 were great, but the finishing touch was certainly book #3.
In this book Paige's adventures were with an Italian MC, which has her rescued by none other than her mafia buddies from New York, a Football practice, a MMA and hockey players at the nightclub WET. Wherever she went she was sure to get into some kind of trouble and the handsome Max was always there to rescue her. All in the aid of loosing the V Card. She is still determined to meet her resolution by the end of the year and launching one of her famous friends book and attending bachelor auctions and finding out who the mysterious Mr. Paris is and you are all going to be shocked and thrilled when you find out who he is... As Paige narrows it down to him and Max when she learns that he is free from his last relationship. Bring on the holidays and it's magic for more that just Christmas tree's and lights. Strap yourself in for this romantic and hilarious ride to Paige's final goal. You are so going to get the biggest surprise and so is Paige. This book is a fantastic conclusion to this wonderful series. Well done Kathleen Brooks, Well Done!!!!
Can’t believe it the end off Paige’s adventures this and the other two books in this series has been a delight to read, I haven’t laugh so much while reading a book with Paige’s character.
Poor Paige she been on one hell of adventure trying to do her new year resolution with help of her book club friends, didn’t see the twist at the end ( Mr Paris ) 👌but I so glad we found out who he was.
The side characters they’re just as good as the main characters.
Can’t believe that this is the end of Paige’s adventures
The Paige Turner trilogy concludes with The Adventurous Bookworm as our intrepid heroine Paige not content with cutting a swath of havoc through New York’s men in her quest to lose her V card has now hit Europe, Italy to be precise where she met a handsome vintner on her flight but with Paige nothing is ever straight forward and her fantasies of treading grapes with a ‘gran figo’ are soon burst when he turns out to be a mama’s boy with a grandma who puts a curse on her sex life – too late grandma, that ship has sailed!. Things don’t improve when the next candidate turns out to be less of badboy biker and more a scooter riding gigalo. On the plus side she does reconnect with a certain mobster when he rescues her – well he does like her cookies.
This trilogy has been one of my favourite romcoms ever as Paige with the support of her book club re-enacts pretty much every romance trope out there, and as a romance editor she knows them all, only for calamity to strike. Between frequent arrests and visits to the local ER where she has her own bay, she’s worked her way through pretty much every profession out there and befriended them all. Now, with the year coming to a close she finds herself back in her hometown, a town so Christmassy, Hallmark is jealous, where she reconnects with her high school crush. Could it be what she’s been looking for has been at home all this time? Or has she already met Mr Right and just didn’t realise it at the time? With a great flow to the writing, fabulous characters and fantastic dialogue that had me laughing throughout my read, I’m a little sad this series has ended but its definitely ended on a high…. plus, there’s always potential parenthood, ‘The Adventurous Mother to be’ has quite a ring to it…...
Paige Turner’s year exploring all the tropes in her romance novels is coming to a close. She’s no closer to taking care of a certain v-card, but is loving the friends she’s made and the adventures she’s had and is happy with who she is and has become over the last year.
So much happens in this third and final installment! Paige finds several more friends and adversaries and learns to tell the difference and to stand up for herself and her friends. We travel abroad with her and fall into several more tropes. Some were hysterical, and others touching. I loved the tongue-in-cheek-ness as we a well-used Christmas plotline and even a few very interesting twists and turns near the end of the story. I love that she decides she wants to find love not just s#x. I love that she is self-aware and knows if she can’t have who she wants she needs to move on. But most of all, I love the discoveries she makes along the way, the friendships she finds, and the HEA kind of love that’s been there all along. There is a couple of great reveals that fall in place, and I’m so glad they turned out like they did. This is such a well-written series. If you enjoy humor, heartwarming friendships, and growth in your characters, this is the series for you.
OMG what a way to end the series! Absolutely loved loved loved
Paige’s mission to loose her virginity is still in the works. And this takes her on an adventure in Italy, where she's called a prostitute, nearly robbed but saved my mob boss Nicholas, and causes another male to loose a testicle. All of Paige’s friends have found love, but who will Paige finally end up with? Fraser (the doctor who keeps ghosting her), Max (the detective with a girlfriend), or the mysterious Mr. Paris?
So many laugh out loud moments and I finished this with such a fondness for all these characters
One of my favorite scenes is from the charity bachelor auction and Paige makes the opening bid on Patrick Bolten (who now only has one testicle thanks to Paige)
Absolutely loved finding out who I was hoping to be Mr. Paris actually was.
Sad to see this series end but oh what a riot it was
Obviously it doesn't go well and has the usual Paige Turner crazy "you wouldn't believe it if you read it" antics that are hilarious, outrageous and packed with cringe. She has some fantastic adventures, is still juggling multiple men as friends, dates and possible "virginity takers", including Mr Paris - whose identity I did guess and loved! We also get a great crossover with Shadows Landing and Wilder, but the best bit....
....she finally gets her guy, the sweep you off your feet romance, the cannot live without you love, the grand gesture at Christmas and the forever. I knew in my heart who it had to be and I LOVE that I was right. We see a very different side to him in this book and if you didn't already love him... ...you will definitely love him by the end. I am sad that this is the final book in the series but I have enjoyed every page of this hilarious and crazy journey.
This story is the final story in this three book series. Paige Turner’s time to fulfill her New Year’s Eve resolution is almost up. She and her book club friends resolved to use the heroines from their favorite romance novels as inspiration for the year. Paige’s resolution had her going through a romance genre and trope checklist to try to lose her V-card. On the way she found confidence, inspiration, and her dream job!
In this book, Page is in Rome living out her very own European romance, an MC romance AND a sports romance! She also endeavors to experience paranormal romance tropes on Halloween. And then the holiday romance portion of her story gets going, and we all know and love those stories and their happy endings.
This was such a unique story and a creative way to think of romance and tropes. A solid read and highly recommended for a great time!
4 ⭐️ Choose your own adventure inspired Read!! From bookworm to leading lady, Paige Turner is on an exhilarating journey in The Adventurous Bookworm. As the countdown to New Year's Eve begins, Paige and her book club have set a bold resolution: to channel the heroines of their favorite romance novels in their own lives.
With a checklist of romance tropes in hand, Paige embarks on a quest to lose her V-card, but she discovers so much more along the way. This year is not just about newfound friendships; it's a true journey of self-discovery that sets Paige on the path to realizing her dreams and building her confidence into something that rivals any fictional heroine.
Paige's adventures are as varied as they are vibrant! Her experiences throughout the year-complete with unexpected twists that often throw her plans off course— are both relatable and entertaining. Add in the chaotic fun of Halloween and a whirlwind holiday season that thrusts her into a NYC celebrity bachelor auction, and Paige's year is truly unforgettable. Let's talk about the ending...#YKYK
This book does a fantastic job of illustrating that sometimes, all it takes is a commitment to saying 'yes' and stepping outside of your comfort zone to experience life to the fullest. Watching Paige grow-from a shy bookworm into a bold bookdragon-is nothing short of inspiring. If you're looking for a lighthearted, fun read that captures the magic of romance and self-discovery, The Adventurous Bookworm is the perfect finale to this series. You'll laugh, cheer, and perhaps even feel a little inspired to take on your own adventures!
OMG!!! I was excited for this third and final book in the series. The first two books take you on a journey through the first 2/3 of the Bookworm's year and this one finishes the year. The Bookworm and her friends go on a journey that is just amazing. A journey through romance tropes in NYC. This book was the perfect ending to the year of success, self-assurance, finding who each one is and finding love, because after all, it's romance. Kathleen Brooks does a great job of hitting the different tropes in a hilarious and interesting way. She writes the story in a way that you feel like the characters are real people and are your friends. Definitely one of the best series and best endings to a series in a while. So fun to read and still rewarding!
Like the previous two books, The Adventurous Bookworm is full of humorous hijinks, quirky fun, and fantastic characters. And like the previous books, is it always 100% realistic? No. Is it entertaining and satisfying? Oh, definitely. It delightfully ties up all of the loose ends and does a wonderful job of wrapping up Paige's year of adventure, giving her the HEA that I was waiting for. And that ending, whew! I didn't see it coming and maybe I should have but that just means I'm going to have to go back to see what clues I missed :)
If you are looking for a fun rom-com, the Paige Turner series is a fantastic choice.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.**
This series has been so much fun to read. The whole crew is back and Paige has some decisions to make in order to meet her new year’s resolution. The adventures, laughs and funny moments continue in this book.
I love her continued growth, her risk taking, and how adventurous she really is. Her love interests are narrowing down and there is a twist that I didn’t see coming.
The conversations, banter and overall dialogue between the characters is so fantastic!!
This has been an amazing, fun, adventurous and laugh out loud series from Kathleen. I’m glad Paige made her deadline and found her HEA!
I can’t even begin to express how lucky I feel to have gotten an ARC of this book—especially since it came with the previous books in the series, too! This trilogy completely stole my heart. The first book had me screaming with laughter more times than I could count, and I fell head over heels for the characters and their antics. By the time I got to book two, I thought I knew what to expect, so there was a little less screaming, but that didn’t stop me from devouring it just as fast. And then there’s book three… I figured it would be a nice wrap-up to the year this series covers, a solid ending to an already incredible journey. But wow, it was so much more than that!
The final book completely exceeded my expectations, and the last 10%? It took me right back to the sheer excitement and hilarity of book one. I was absolutely screaming! This trilogy has my whole heart, and I already know I’ll be rereading it in the future. The author’s storytelling, humor, and emotional depth are unmatched, and she has officially earned a permanent spot on my auto-buy list. I can’t wait to dive into her backlist because if this series is any indication, I have some amazing reads ahead. If you haven’t picked up this trilogy yet, trust me—you’re in for a treat!
Is it possible with each book it gets better and better? Of course it is. Each book pulls me from reality and drops me into a world filled with laughter, smiles and nothing but happiness. A wild crazy adventure for Paige as she tries to accomplish her New Year Resolution. A new twisted added in this bookkeeping us engaged and ready for the next crazy thing that will happen to Paige. Absolutely love reading this series as its so lighthearted that it helps me escape when I need something a bit more comical. Max was by far my favorite character other than Paige in this series his supportiveness was unmatched and if you read this book you would understand.
What an amazing bookish finale! Paige takes her final challenges on as she moves through more tropes with her friends, trying hard to complete her resolution. More importantly, she focuses on herself and enjoying her life she has worked so hard for. She cherishes her friendships and continues to have the best banter and steamy scenes that leave everyone waiting for her... success. I loved the way it ended and the last few surprises. Holy bookmarks... I loved every minute with this amazing Paige Turner!
Finally we'll know how Paige's resolution comes to an end. This journey has been wild, funny, hot and empowering.
She has meet wonderful people and has been without knowing like a matchmaker with some of her new/old friends.
This book starts with her going to Rome where she tries to fulfill her New Year's resolution and as always it didn't end like she hoped to.
I loved it all and I'm so happy that she finally ends with the one I wanted!! But I'm also sad because this is the end of the series and Paige's story.
I LOVE this series and couldn‘t wait for the third and final part and have read it in one day It was the perfect ending to Paige‘s adventures. As were the first two books this book is well-written, very entertaining and has so many great characters - I just love them all! The ending was everything I ever hoped for and more. Really a great series that I will be rereading soon!
I received an ARC via The Author Agency and am voluntarily leaving a review!
FINALLY!! I Love this series so much!! The adventures that Paige went through to find her HEA is always a learning experience and finding yourself. Each book she grew more confident and gain many friends. There were many hilarious moments, mishaps and spice of course, but that twist!! Seriously, I want more of their story!! LOL I’m very happy with their ending and can’t wait to read more by Kathleen.
I voluntarily leave an honest review of this advanced readers copy!
EEEEK!!!!! I Loved this last book in the trilogy story. I will not will not spoil it for anyone - but this was such a fantastic read. The FMC Paige Turner was just fantastic as well as all her friends. I enjoyed seeing all her adventures and growth as a person as well as her friends growth too. I will say - she gets her HEA and I was so so happy (jumping up and down) - you guys need to read it! Along with the story line - this series encourages everyone to live life to the fullest!
A five star conclusion to a series that has been so much fun! Paige starts this book in Rome, meets with more mishaps and, once back in New York, resumes her search using the craziness of trope criteria. It's impossible not to love Paige and her friends. This series is what would have been called a "mad cap" adventure in the past days and that definitely fits the feel, wit and banter of the books...and Max! Yes! Perfect ending. Loved it all 💖💖💖💖💖
This series has been so fun to read. The whole thing is a book lovers smorgasbord of fun tropes and characters that Paige encounters and learns to embrace. Her relationships with her friends provide a great backdrop to the narrative and we get some truly entertaining banter. Underneath it all, the super slow burn from the intended MMC kept me truly invested and this conclusion was fully satisfying.
I absolutely loved these books! This was such a great conclusion to the Paige Turner series as a whole. This book took me on a rollercoaster of emotions. Laughing, cackling, kicking my feet, and not to mention screaming. And the twist at the end totally blew my mind. Not to mention, the side characters they’re just as good as the main characters. This trilogy has been one of my favorite romcoms ever, and I'm sad to see it come to an end. I can't recommend this book and series enough.
I can't believe it's oveeeer! Paige Turner, you really are a page turner. LOL! I love who she ends up with, although I might have been hoping for a lil bit of the other but at the end all's well that ends well. I don't wanna say anything anymore that might spoil it for anyone who's gonna read it in the near future but all I can say is the plot twist is twisting and I love every bit of every scene! 10 out of 10! Wooot!
Oh, how our young Paige has grown. This was by far the perfect ending to the adventures in which our heroine went on. The secrets that were being kept from her was by far my favorite discovery.
The way everyone found love and the way the book club grew was great to see. I am trying to keep this spoiler free. Just know you need to read it.
This gripping series captivates readers with its intricate plot and unexpected narrative shifts, offering an exhilarating journey that will leave literature enthusiasts thoroughly enthralled. An absolute essential for anyone who cherishes the immersive world of books.
