She fell for the charm of a small town… but is it the woman who truly captivates her heart?
Reagan Knox has spent her entire life in Aspen Ridge, running her family’s beloved Christmas tree farm and orchestrating the town’s holiday festival. Confident, take-charge, and fearless, she’s used to handling whatever comes her way. But when she crosses paths with a mysterious, gorgeous woman in the bar of one of Aspen Ridge’s finest hotels, sparks fly in the most unexpected ways. Reagan assumes it’s just another one of her fleeting trysts with another tourist—until that same woman shows up as the person behind the resort renovation threatening her festival plans.
Camille Foster is all business, all the time. As a high-powered executive in a Denver design firm, she’s called to Aspen Ridge to save a struggling project, determined to whip it into shape. But the last thing she expects is to be captivated by a no-nonsense, younger woman who stands toe-to-toe with her in every way. One night was supposed to be enough. Yet as their paths cross and clash over work and control, Cam finds herself drawn not just to Reagan but to the small-town charm that seems to seep into her guarded heart.
As tensions rise between Cam and Reagan, so does an undeniable attraction that neither of them can ignore. Caught between their professional responsibilities and a growing connection, they must decide if they’re willing to risk their carefully built lives for the magic of something new. With holiday traditions, penthouse views, snowy nights, and a romance that feels both unexpected and inevitable, Christmas in Aspen Ridge might bring them both the gift they never saw coming.
Get ready to unwrap the magic of Christmas and a love worth the risk. If you love steamy lesbian romance, you will want to dive into this age-gap, ice queen Christmas romance today!
This one will warm you up on a cold night. Camille has finally met her match in Reagan. From a one night stand to working together. They work well together in and out of the bedroom. Wonderful small town holiday story.
Reagan owns a Christmas tree farm and is in charge of the annual Christmas festival. Cam is the project manager in charge of the renovation of the resort near the tree farm before the holidays. She clearly has money…expensive clothing and shoes, car, homes. Her Penthouse has great views of the beauty surrounding Aspen Ridge. Reagan is more down to earth. Both Reagan and Cam prefer one night stands, no strings. Reagan does this because she got burned by a previous relationship. Cam is completely immersed in her job and finds one night encounters fit where she is in her life…concentrating on her career. Cam is older than Reagan. They find themselves working together for over 6 months and the attraction to each other is undeniable. Their first encounter early into the book is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Reagan begins planning “dates”, both want more, but each keeps it to themselves. Lunches with incredible mountain views. Reagan has Maddie as her sounding board, trying to give her advice about whatever this thing is between Reagan and Cam. Cam’s friend Lo is her person in that capacity. This was a spicy addition to my holiday reading.
This is an uplifting story of what happens when two women who have no interest in much more than fleeting dalliances meet their match. Reagan, the local organizing the town's holiday festival, and Cam, the project manager brought to town to complete the new resort before the holidays, are unable to ignore their attraction to one another. Their one night stand isn't enough for either of them. As they work together for well over 6 months, their respective family and friends encourage their budding romance. Reagan and Cam are well developed characters along with all the supporting characters. Given the amount of time they worked together, nothing felt rushed which makes this a very believable storyline. For anyone who likes age-gap, ice queen, low angst romances, this is a perfect, quick read for the holiday season.
I received an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Lauren Hart’s recipe for “Red Lace and Mistletoe” is the perfect blend of sweetness and sizzle. I’m not usually one for the “Hallmark” gooeyness of holiday romances, but this one strikes a balance that’s just-right romantic and sizzingly sexy. Reagan and Cam are two women who are each emotionally closed off for their own reasons. Reagan, sticking with one-night-encounters after being burned by the woman she thought was her forever. Cam, pouring all of her love and energy into her career. Both convinced that’s the way their lives would play out. Until neither one could forget the other, and one night became much, much more. Reagan and Cam each learned a lot about themselves, discovering that letting down walls, though frightening, can also help them find the path to love … and home. I received an ARC, and this is my honest review.
I have enjoyed the many Sapphic Christmas Romances written in 2024. I am still enjoying them. This one was right up there with the best of them. Two very strong and confident women catch a glimpse of each other staring. When Reagan walks over to Cam, introduces herself and attempts the small chitchat. But Cam is the one who says she is in the penthouse and has a view that must be seen. After a one night fling, both women can’t seem to forget each other. When they find out they are working together, well things get interesting. It was an entertaining and enjoyable story. Their chemistry was off the charts. Again Lauren gives us a story that stays with us. Love Christmas Romances!
A great WLW romance perfect for Christmas! I was extremely disappointed by the results of American election, and this book is a great escape from the sad reality. It has my favorite small town setting, with older ice queen and younger local tree farmer, and the fun country festival. It is heartwarming, sweet and a joy to read! I love both MCs, they make the perfect dreamy couple, with instant chemistry and open communication and all these red hot steamy sex scenes. The author's vivid description brought us the nicest little town and the cute Christmas tree farm and the cool and funny best friends, that I wish I could visit the town in real.
Reagan runs her family’s Christmas Tree farm, whilst organising the Aspen Ridge’s Christmas festival. Cam drifts into town on a cloud of expensive perfume raining down misery on the slackers doing renovations to the a resort on Aspen Ridge. Stamping her stilettos and taking command she soon has the teams back on track. They met one night in a bar. Corny but true. But what happens between the woman too busy to romance and the woman badly burned by a past relationship? This is a heartwarming snuggly Christmas romance perfect for losing yourself in. Lots of red and green mistletoe with not an orange in sight. Perfect 👌🏻
Reagan and Cameron meet at a resort bar in Aspen Ridge, Colorado, and immediately there’s an attraction. Both have a history of one night stands, especially Reagan who mainly has one night stands with tourists. Reagan thinks that Cam is also a tourist, however, she is in town to try to finalize a resort renovation as a Project Manager. That means she will be staying awhile. Their interaction becomes more than a one night stand and slowly their hearts become involved.
This was an inspiring holiday romance novella in a quaint setting. I look forward to reading more by this author.
Reagan runs her family Christmas tree farm in Aspen Ridge and has settled for one night stands as her home town doesnt seem to have enough to offer someone who's looking for forever.
Cam is a project manager sent in to kick a resort renovation back on track in time for the Christmas festival that Reagan is organising.
They meet in the local hotel bar and have what they both assume is a one night stand, not knowing their paths will cross again and again. But one night turns into more as sparks fly.
This is a good Christmas story. Their interaction becomes more than a one night stand and slowly their hearts become involved.
What a heartwarming story about home town girl Reagan who runs the family's Christmas tree farm and is also in charge of all the year round holiday festivities, and Camille, the no nonsense frosty executive, whose job is to have the Aspen Ridge Resort fully functional for the fall festivities.
This is one of my favorite books from Lauren. I really loved both leading ladies, the crazy, funny best friends, and the cozy feel of the town and its people. It's a feel-good story for any time of year, and especially during the magic of the Christmas season! I wholeheartedly recommend this!
Lauren Hart has given us a Christmas present full of good cheer and lots of lusty scenes. It is impeccably written with love and warmth of the season. The characters are sweetened with intensity, giggles and, yes more lusty fun. I could almost smell the pine in the air from the tree farm and feel the cold of winter setting in. Thanks Lauren for setting the season off to a fast start!
Big city meets small town in this hot and spicy story. There’s a Christmas tree farm, Christmas festival, and a holiday resort that play their parts in the story, along with an interesting group of characters. The main characters have their minds set on a one night of fun, but they wind up with their happy ever after.
This is a sweet Christmas story that will get you in the Christmas spirit. If the Christmas story does not warm your heart Reagan and Camille’s chemistry will. Another terrific book by Lauren that should be on you holiday list to read. You do not want to miss it. I received an advanced review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Lauren Hart again delivers a wonderful romance. This time it's centered around the magic of Christmas, and it's absolutely awesome. The two main characters are special and all the side characters are unique and loveable. I enjoyed it through and through.
I accidentally read the next book, and loved it so much i bought this one. This book has the same warmth, humor and Christmas in the mountains atmosphere, with its own ice queen and warm lover. I highly recommend these books, especially for some Christmas cheer, and hope for more!
Sometimes you just need that happy heart warming story, and better yet let’s add a Christmas tree farm. Loved the feel good story of Reagan and Cam finding each other and their crazy friends pushing them together.

If you are looking for a sweet, spicy story to get you in the holiday spirit, look no further. Big city energy meets small town ambience in this heartening love story between Cam and Reagan.
