I blog, I write books and I love the experience of writing. Therefore, I write almost every day and I am lucky that I can afford to do this without the need for a daily 9 to 5 job.

I write when I feel that I have something to say. Luckily, this happens quite often. I write when I want to help others. I'm lucky that many of the things I know and learn are useful to others. My blog posts alone are read by hundreds each day.

10 years ago I had no idea I would be writing blogs posts, let alone books. Yet, here I am today, trying to start a conversation with you, through what I write. I hope you'll enjoy my books and that you will come back for more.

I love it when people write back, so if you have anything that you would like to share with me, don't hesitate to get in touch.

I skimmed this one, skipping entire chapters I knew I wouldn't need anything from, but I still managed to learn a few things I haven't encountered in other books yet. My favorite tip was how to make the Start screen show the desktop background. I really liked the organization of this book. It is pretty thick, but it's easy to find what you want to learn more about.

Not a "summer read" kind of book. I've moved this one to the reference shelf. I was immediately able to find what I needed to get around in Windows 8, and will keep the other 800 pages around for when I need them.
