The first time I saw Wolf Ramsey was at his family’s estate in Kauai. He was huge and imposing. Armed to the teeth. When he looked right at me, fascination wasn’t my first reaction. It was fear.
His outrageous good looks were shadowed only by his wild intensity. You could tell he would be reckless and brutal. Even from a distance, his dark, dangerous energy made my heart beat faster in a way I wasn’t expecting. I knew he would take me places I’ve never been and ruin me, body and soul. I was relieved when it was time to leave.
But before I could escape him, one single announcement changed my entire life. Because it’s not going to be my sister who secures the family alliance between the Ramseys and the Fitzpatricks.
It’s going to be me. And my new husband-to-be, Wolf Ramsey.

Let me give you bit of history about the Three most prominent families in Hawaii.
Many many years ago, these three prominent families made alliance between themselves, once per generation, one person from each family must marry someone from one of the other families……. This way you understand bit more why Vivi had lived such a Sheltered life……..
Vivi is the youngest of the Fitzpatrick heiress and one of the most prominent families in Hawaii.
They call her sweet. Shy. Quiet. she the good girl, the one who always does what she’s told. But simmering just under the surface of her obedience is a wild heart. Some little spark in her is biding its time, craving … something. Freedom. Rebellion. Danger. she can feel it coming. Which is both daunting and sort of thrilling, to be honest.
Most would think Vivi’s life was a dream come true, but Lil do they know ………
She is watched like a hawk. She has a team of bodyguards who protects her every move. Her phone calls, posts and texts are monitored and filtered. Her schedule is lorded over and controlled. Some days she doesn’t even feel like a real person. she feels more like of a carefully-curated brand who lives in a gilded cage than an actual human being.
He just intimidates her, so imagine her surprise when she was informed, He had chosen her as part of the family alliance Tell me, what’s a woman to do when your future hubby looked like Giant compare to Vivi ’s tiny little self.
Wolf Ramsey, what can I say the man was just so Outrageously Sexy and lord the man could be overly Protective…….. and trust me when I tell you that, even if Vivi didn’t seem to like it in the Beginning how overly Protective Wolf was, she truly needed it
Wolf is known for his one-night stands, he never thought much about love, so when he seen that his brother Knox had fell in love with his Mysterious Angel. And Blaise had own stuff going on. Wolf stepped up to the plate after seeing how Vivi came into herself. And had grown up to be a Stunning young woman.
I loved how wolf gave Vivi everything she needed and then some….. he gave her Strength to stand up on her own two feet. If she wanted to, or she could lean on him for what she wanted or needed. And he was there to Catch her if she falls…….. in Wolf’s eyes all he did was open the door to her gilded cage and let her fly is high as she could
Julie has always written these amazing and Delightful steamy stories that really captured you from the 1st page, and she truly didn’t disappoint me on this one either
I am really looking forward to reading more about these three powerful families
Wild Hearts is book two in the Paradise series by Julie Capulet. You can read this as a stand alone but I do believe you would understand the history, the three families involved better if you read the first book. I loved the first book, Devil’s Angel, Knox and Cassidy’s story, and the time line of this new book runs somewhat parallel to the happenings in that one.
Vivi Fitzpatrick is the youngest of five siblings. Her family is one of the three in “the alliance.” The alliance between these three families states that once per generation, one person from each family must marry someone from one of the other families. The purpose is to keep the peace between these very powerful families. Vivi grew up without parents and her siblings have always been over protective, leaving her to exist in a sort of bubble. Vivi just let it all happen, let them rule her life.
It’s the night of the big party at the Ramsey’s estate. The entire weekend is planned to help the participants make their choices of their betrothed. Vivi was just trying to fade into the back ground, to get the night over with. Then he walked in, their eyes met, and her life was forever changed.
Wolf Ramsey knows he will never fall in love. He watched it destroy both his parents and his older brother. But he does believe in the curse. He and his family are more than superstitious. His brother Knox was supposed to be the one to choose a wife from the Fitzpatrick family. But then Cassidy came into his life and everything changed course. Wolf spends his time hunting, fishing, and always training. He is known as the killing machine due to his skills with MMA fighting. But nothing could have prepared him for the minute he walked into the party and saw her. The shy, introverted girl with the fire burning inside of her. He saw it and he wanted to be the one to set it free. He knew in that moment that she would be his. He would be the one to fulfill the alliance between the families. Vivi would be his wife.
“He’s saved the very best of himself for me.”
Vivi does not want to be married to someone like Wolf. He frightens her. But he also makes her feel other things. They couldn’t be more different but when they finally really talk, she discovers there is so much more to this beautiful man. But can she trust him? Or will he just be another person that overpowers her life? That makes her live under his thumb?
This was a story about finding your one. About finding the person who recognizes you for what you are meant to be. It’s sexy, sweet and a bit suspenseful. This series is pure fantasy, letting us live in this beautiful tropical paradise with these characters that love with all they possess. Julie’s heroes are always the most alpha, over protective, beautiful men that will make you sigh, swoon and smile as they get toppled over by a woman they never saw coming. I enjoyed this visit to Paradise so very much.
DNF @ 65% - I really like this author normally. This book tho is just not it. I love the manwhore/virgin trope. Love. But the way this is written just misses the mark.
He screws around with the whole world but when he needs to choose a bride from the h’s family, he lists all the woman and rejects a couple for being promiscuous and then decides that the h will do since she’s rumored to be a virgin and likes the idea of being the only one to have her… and normally I’d love this if they knew each other and he already wanted her. But the fact that he picks her BECAUSE of her virginity before he even meets her gave me the icks… and also he talks about being possessive over a wife, expecting whoever he marries to be faithful even tho he plans to cat around. He says he’d kill anyone who touched his hypothetical bobble-headed Wife. Again, this possessiveness has ZERO to do with the h. He hasn’t met her yet. So… basically he’s got a virginity kink and he’s a douche-canoe. Gotcha. Coolcoolcool 👌🏻
This feels like he was forced into marrying into her family and picked the best option he had and then just decides to work with what he has. And what he has is a flawless virginal girl who looks like a super model. Poor guy. Must be rough. I like my heroines to be pretty to the hero, but I am finding it off-putting that she is literally completely flawless and he tells her this over and over. He’s constantly in awe and commenting on her physical perfections…. But again… nuance matters… He should think she’s flawless because he’s crazy about her… not the other way around. But it’s hard to have any depth to his feeling since they don’t actually know each other… so instead what we have is him being crazy about her BECAUSE she is flawless… which just seems shallow and douchey. 🫤
Then we get to their wedding night. We’ve gotten hints that he’s really into BDSM with all his plethora of bed buddies… and of course he pulls out all his tricks for our blushing virgin on her wedding night… how romantic 🥰… he has taken her to his island and in the middle of psychoanalyzing her and over mansplaining til I’m ready to shake him… he pulls open a drawer and SURPRISE! It’s filled with sex toys…. 😐 Don’t worry tho… he claims he’s never had a woman at his home… he just had them there “just in case” he ever did. 👀😐 ok. Maybe I could have swallowed this if he had said he bought them for her… but no… once again she’s just the bobble-head girl he dropped into the Wife role in his life because she’ll do just as well as whoever else he might have decided was worthy (hawt enough and pure enough, of course) of his bedroom.
And with that I’m out. And really disappointed. Motivations matter. Nuance matters. This is a bomb from a reader who gave this author a lot of rope and normally loves these tropes.
I don’t normally rate books I DNF, but I think after 65% and given the reasons, I will leave a rating on this one. ⭐️
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I’m so sick of manwhore H’s who get a sweet untouched virgin h. I don’t mind virgin h’s , but it’s so sick how they always have to get a hoe as a partner. Like in real life there are so many guys who aren’t nasty like this, so why does every romance hero have to be a whore? And the relationship between the h and H in this was solely based on sex imo, like even when he was declaring his love after knowing her like three days he was all like “ily so much, it’s never felt like this before”…ok. It was so hypocritical how when she wanted to know things about girls he’s been with he’s like “I’m not discussing that with you” but when he finds out that she kissed one person before, he needed every single detail. Ok double standard. I hated how the author had to make her friend have a boyfriend in order for the H to be ok with the guy. Like is the H that insecure? Every problem this couple had was resolved with sex, which I loathe. Why can’t they talk, why is she so weak that she can’t say no to him and mean it? They would have a problem, they would fuck, bam problem solved. Which further proves my point that their relationship was based on sex. This honestly wasn’t a terrible book, but those aspects just made it not that great to me.
At a party designed to facilitate the arranged marriages between the families of the Angel’s Alliance, Wolf Ramsey takes one look at Vivi Fitzpatrick and knows he’ll be claiming her.
Despite having spent the entirety of her life under the thumb of her family, Vivi is not prepared to make a commitment to Wolf. However, his uncharacteristically caring demeanor breaks down Vivi’s walls as she discovers what it’s like to be loved for who she is and not the pawn her family needs.
I loved being back on Paradise and seeing more from the three families. I gave my fingers crossed that we’ll get Remy’s story because that man deserves love!

*Was lucky to have an advanced copy so thank you Julie! Everything I say in this review are all my honest opinions.*
I love everything Julie Capulet writes! This book really had an old school feel like the first book but the tone and the voice was all well-matched. I loved the character development of both characters. Gahh, Daddy Wolf's dedication for Vivi is just heartwarming. I teared up at some parts cause I really feel for the characters. Vivi is such a strong heroine 😭🥺🥰❤️ and the sex scenes? OMG. SO HOT. 🥰😭❤️🔥 WOLF IS THE BIGGEST GRUMP BUT TO HER HE IS SO SOFT AND SWEET 🥰🥰🥰 BIG DICK ENERGY + PROTECTIVE + DADDY MATERIAL = WOLF RAMSAY. OKAY THIS REVIEW IS ALL OVER THE PLACE BUT WHATEVER. LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH HIHI ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
So in the end I was pretty disappointed with this one 😔. I thought from the blurb I was getting arranged marriage with angst, instead it was instalove bdsm. The characters were shallow and I felt no connection to them. They fell in love because of their fantastic good looks and amazing sex. He was a player that had been with a lot of women 😖, yet came unravelled at the thought of her even kissing someone else.
I was not a fan of how the story was written either. I felt like i was being told the story in much of the book.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. MY HEART IS FULL. Five stars for this adorable, sweet and comforting continuation in the paradise series. I absolutely LOVED getting to see Wolf and Vivi grow and change in this book, it was so gratifying and rewarding. Just like book one, this book kept me on my toes, and kept me interested from beginning to end. Also like book one, this book had a really interesting couple, with a insta love type relationship, that was built on trust and protection. I will definitely be back to reread this series, and this book. Go check it out! It's absolutely worth it. I was invited to read a free e-ARC of Wild Hearts by Julie Capulet. All thoughts and opinions are mine.
Well, this was bad. If Cliche and Cliche gets a baby. They would name it super cliche.
We have supermodel youngest child but she’s virgin obviously because she’s sheltered and controlled. But hey, only her. All other her sisters can live their lives. She has like gazillion followers but in reality she’s super introvert and people steamroll over her all the time. Oh, let’s not forget a cousin who is actually not cousin by blood insinuating taking her V card and cherry on top- bruising her hand.
Those inner monologues… dios mio.
I was hoping we get a badass H which we did but then we had long inner monologue how he fucks women he doesn’t even like. I mean, cmon!? It was made so clear he needs to fuck all those women but he doesn’t like them. Huh, who does that!? If you are the hottest guy ever in the whole universe, at least you can pick a woman who you LIKE to fuck ya know.
I can’t believe I’m writing this but this book, the second book of the series is not my favorite. The hero is known to be a manwhor3, not crazy but still holds that title and he also admit it… The hero started with saying how much he’s been with woman, and also there’s a text from those woman like two freakin times. One time the hero reads it and the second one the heroine reads it, and last one he and the heroine meet with that woman who texts him. I’m not a big fan of that and also annoyed with that. I rolled my eyes so much when i read it and immediately says: “fvcking b*tch.” 😒🥵🤦🏼♀️ The first book doesn’t have that and when this second book has it, like i immediately change my mood 😵💫
Sorry author but i just got to say this.
‼️‼️‼️SAFE ROMANTIC HOT LOVE STORY
‼️‼️‼️TRIGGERS: almost r*pe, killing, high on violence, death, PTSD, family alliances, force marriage and death.
‼️‼️‼️The hero is over the top possessive millionaire protective alpha male. But also used to be a manwhor3 and was only celibate for a month when he have s3x with the heroine. Idk if he checked himself out to see if he is clean or what but the fact that is only a month just annoying tbh. THE HERO ALSO GASLIGHTING the heroine like two times when they were married. First time when the heroine saw the texts from his old fvck buddy, he just continued having s3x with her and only give her a little explanation. Is not even a good one or a enough explanation for that action. And the heroine is just so stupid to even okay with the s3x and forgot to ask for a explanation for that. When the heroine asks, he just gaslight her. I immediately known for a fact is he was gaslighting her🙄🙄😵💫🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
THE FACT THAT HE JUST GOT MARRIED TO THE HEROINE AND JUST HAVE S3X WITH HER FOR THE FIRST TIME, AND THE HEROINE SAW A TEXTS BESIDE THEIR BED SIDE FROM THE FVCK BUDDY. THE HERO DIDN’T BLOCK THE FVCK BUDDY NUMBER OR CHANGE HIS NUMBER. Like this really annoys me so much. The hero described himself as a smart man but this shows how stupid and dumbass he is😒😒😒🥵🤮🤮
Also the hero have the nerve to be mad at the heroine because the heroine said she already kissed someone who the hero is not he first of that. He even asked her, who and when and be mad about it. Like you have a past life too and still you mad at the heroine for that? When the heroine defend herself by saying that was in the past and the hero have a past too, he did it again. He gaslight her. Seriously the hero just annoys me more now lol. I don’t like this hero at all and completely skipping his POV cause how annoyed i am with him🙄
‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE is a naive woman. She’s not too sassy, she grow up as the baby to the family and everybody like her siblings really doesn’t treat her well like in mentally. They never hurt her physically. The heroine is beautiful, and humble woman. She likes to help people with charity.
The heroine sometimes can be stupid because she just lets the hero gaslighting her 🥵
‼️‼️‼️DRAMA WITH OW like you can read above. No drama with om. Other drama is about their family and enemies.
‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE IS A VIRGIN
‼️‼️‼️PUSHING AWAY FROM THE HEROINE BUT NOT TOO MUCH AND NOT TOO ANNOYING. THE HERO NEVER PUSH THE HEROINE AWAY.
‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS OBSESSED AND WANTS THE HEROINE SOOOOO BADLY….
He always says that to her and everybody. Like he have this great words to say to her when it comes to owning up how he really loves her.
But unfortunately those words I can’t add to this review because how I’m annoyed i am with the other woman situation. Sorry but the hero really kills the vibe of that.
The best thing that the hero really never invites any other woman to his own house, to his own crib. The heroine was the first one. So that was great.
‼️‼️‼️MANY JEALOUS SCENES FROM THE HERO. And only few from the heroine.
‼️‼️‼️VERY HOT SMUT SCENES. Little BDSM but not too crazy. The hero really worships the heroine body and wants her all the freakin time. Their s3x scenes is soooo freakin hot and amazing 🔥
‼️‼️‼️LOCATION: Hawaii
‼️‼️‼️DUAL POV
‼️‼️‼️GREAT CONNECTION BETWEEN THE COUPLE. The chemistry is just so freakin romantic ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
‼️‼️‼️HAPPY ENDING.
Married and have many kids.
So in love and obsessed.
‼️‼️‼️I HOPE THE NEXT BOOK WILL NOT HAVE TEXTS OR APPEARANCE FROM ANOTHER WOMAN 🙄🙄🙄🙄 ESPECIALLY WHEN THE HERO IS ALREADY MARRIED TO THE HEROINE 🙄🙄🙄🙄
👉🏽👉🏽Thank you so much for reading my review❤️❤️ For you who loves my review and follow it, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I did not get paid or be told to do a review on a book. I’m here just to write review about a book so i can remember it. Its my honest opinion😚 I didn’t know at first people will find me and follow me and trust me to be honest, I was surprised myself to look at the notifications from people who reach out to me😆 So everything i write down here on a review is based on my personal opinion and based on my true writing. I DID NOT COPY SOMEONE’S REVIEW OR WRITING SKILL because at first when i was using this app for one year i didn’t know how to scroll down on a book and see the reviews from others😂😅🤣 I know, silly me but hey I finally learned my lesson 😛😛😛 Thats why when people assume i copy someone’s review i was like what? Because at first i didn’t know how to use this app properly and i didn’t know how to open someone’s review because for a year i never follow someone or add friends or someone😂😂😂🤣 (I’m laughing so hard) 🤪 AND I NEVER COPY SOMEONE’S REVIEW EVER. IF I WRITE SOMETHING WRONG OR DOESN’T MAKE SENSE PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND BE NICE OKAY. 👈🏽👈🏽👈🏽✋🏽✋🏽 IF YOU'RE BEING MEAN AND NEGATIVE ALREADY WITH A WARNING AND NOT BEING WISE TO ME, I WILL NOT ENTIRELY READ YOUR COMMENT AND REMOVE YOU EASILY AND FAST. I DO NOT TOLERATE NEGATIVE COMMENT SO KNOW YOUR PLACE, THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I’m writing my disclaimer again here cause many negative people still don't get it or still be stupid enough not to understand my POV when I already write it so many times before. So here I am writing it again to you beautifuls human being😁😁 WHEN YOU READ MY LONG OR SHORT REVIEW, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT WHAT I LIKE ABOUT A STORY AND CHARACTERS RIGHT... IF YOU DON'T KNOW THEN HERE IT IS: I LIKE A BOOK WITH VERY POSSESSIVE PROTECTIVE ALPHA MALE, NO CHEATING, AND PLEASE NO MANWHOR3, NO MANY PUSHING AWAY, NO DOORMAT HEROINES, NO MANY OW DRAMA, NO S3X SCENE WITH SOMEONE ELSE. AND SAFE ALL THE WAY AND A HAPPY ENDING. Something that I don't like it very much if the hero or heroine have a crazy fvcked up personality and likes. Example: killing someone and let the heroine watch it all and push the heroine to lick all the blood of his victim and made her have to eat the meat of humans. and fvcks many woman in front of the heroine while telling her he loves her. I DON'T LIKE THAT TYPE OF SH*T AT ALL. That's just who I am, that's what I like and I don't like on a book. Maybe you love that, but I don't. We humans are different, we think very differently from one another. You have your likes and I have mine, you have your opinions and I have mine of my own. You think it's stupid of me to love such a book or to not love a book or to hate it whatever lol, I think it's bad you think that way cause I respect people's opinions cause I know for a fact we have our differences. YOU AND ME ARE DIFFERENT FOR PETE'S SAKE. I even have my own friends or people I follow here that shows how much they don't like the book I like, I never even give them a long comment or short Comment. Cause I respect their opinions. I don't like to give people I hard time here cause life itself is already hard enough. I do respect your opinion if you say my review is bad or whatever negative things about it, but in the end of the day I will not changed my mind about what book I dislike and how my thoughts about it. You can't tell me what to do. You can give me advice but it's me who decided to know what's right for me, this is my life and not yours. Read that again. Don’t assume things about me that is not even real, just don’t. cause when you do you’re more small minded for sure. You're thinking why I'm telling you all of this when you already know? Is because you still hating on my opinions and don't understand my POV and don't respect my POV. You think i like writing this disclaimer when obviously you're an adult already? no i personally think this is unnecessary... but because there are people out there who still don't get it *rolling my eyes*. Hopefully they or the people who read this disclaimer can use a beautiful thing called a brain:) AND WHEN YOU READ MY REVIEW, READ IT VERY CLEARLY TO SEE IF I FINISHED THE BOOK OR NOT. KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. AND YES ENGLISH IS NOT MY FIRST LANGUAGE. BUT IF YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M WRITING, THEN IT MEANS YOU UNDERSTAND IT ENOUGH. I DO NOT TOLERATE BULLYING, NEGATIVE COMMENTS AND MEAN WORDS. PLEASE USE A WISE WORDS SO WE DON'T ATTACK EACH OTHER. SIMPLY, I DON’T LIKE TO HAVE AN ARGUMENT WITH STRANGERS LIKE YOU CAUSE I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO😚 BUT IF YOU STILL WANT TO BE AMBER HEARD KARENS THAT DON'T UNDERSTAND MY DISCLAIMER AFTER I JUST WRITE IT DOWN, THEN GO ENJOY YOUR DAY AND GO AWAY. IT'S VERY EASY FOR A HUMAN COULD DO YA KNOW. IF YOU STILL HERE HATING ME OR ANNOYED WITH ME, THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM. NOT ME PROBLEM. HASHTAGS BURN😂😂 DON'T TAKE THINGS TOO PERSONALLY ON ONLINE CAUSE WE ALL A STRANGERS, WE NEVER EVER MEET. WE'RE ADULTS HERE SO LETS BE WISER. LAST, I BLOCK NEGATIVE PEOPLE! SO GET WELL SOON TO THE HATERS. HOPEFULLY YOUR HEART AND MIND WILL BE MORE POSITIVE 🙏🙏🙏 AND THIS DISCLAIMER MAY SEEMS LIKE TOO HARSH ON YOU BUT HEY I DON'T LIKE TO SUGAR COATED THINGS. I LIKE TO SAY TO THE POINT WITH MY UNDERSTANDING AND MY OWN THOUGHTS, CAUSE THAT'S HOW HUMANS ARE. WE ARE DIFFERENT REMEMBER👍 HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!
Wild Hearts, book 2, takes me back to a place I've definitely wanted to explore again- the exciting and suspenseful world of Julie Capulet's Paradise series. Here, in this beautiful setting, wealth reigns, danger could be lurking around the next corner where hot, sexy heros will jump in to protect you. With its untamed natural beauty, scenic vistas and gorgeous inhabitants, is it any wonder I am beyond thrilled to back here again?
In this world, old folklore, legends and superstitions are feared, revered and passed down through the ages. In each generation- a curse and arranged marriages keeps the connection between the 3 original founding families, with the ousted 4th hot on their heels to overthrow them.
Every character in this series has a part to play whether it's to control, obey, rock the boat, or be a villain. The party princess, a star, player, plotter, hunter or hunted. So much fun figuring out who is who, which adds to the ever present mysticism of these powerful ruling families. The Paradise series really captured my attention, two books in and already becoming one of my favorite series written by this author. I love being drawn further into this twisty world and can't wait for more of it.
The youngest Ramsey brother has a reputation of being wild, fierce, imposing and the strongest and deadliest fighter of all the alliance men. His softer side is private and saved just for his family, and now for Vivi. I loved his smirky, amused, mischievous sense of humor- made him even more addictively hot than I could have ever imagined. Is there steam coming off these pages? It sure feels that way when Wolf Ramsey is in the house.
Sweet, innocent, stunning Vivi Fitzpatrick has been sheltered and controlled by her family since the day she was born. She's beginning to feel rebellious and wants to break free, but doesn't know how to make it happen. When her sister's arranged marriage is announced, Vivi will be off the hook and able fly- she can't wait for that to happen. This youngest Fitzpatrick stole my heart with her kindness and that underlying wild streak that presented itself at just the perfect moments. I wanted so much for her to able to spread her wings and find her own path and loved her outrage and horror at the turn of events she found herself in. Her inner dialogue was priceless and continued as she found her way to the life she didn't know she wanted with that dirty talking, tropical mountain man she never saw coming.
Julie Capulet writes with such heart and her stories are filled with an exciting mix of lust, all consuming love and touching romance from heros who you wouldn't expect to have these tender emotions inside of them- but oh do they ever! Her alpha men have a protective streak a mile wide and a tendency to fall hard and fast- I love that about them- they know exactly what they want and aren't afraid to go for it. This author is the queen of writing entertaining stories filled with true, genuine love that casts its spell on her charming, hotter than the sun men and the beautiful, strong, sassy women that steal their wild hearts.
If you can't get enough of dirty talking alpha heros, all encompassing soulmate kind of love and steamy passion that keeps you turning pages into the wee hours, this is a book and series you are going to love. Wild Hearts could stand alone, but this series is best enjoyed in order- start your binge with Devil's Angel, older brother Knox's story. You'll meet Wolf and Vivi there too!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Wolf Ramsey seems to be brutal and stand-off ish. Always armed to the teeth.
He’d ruin you, body and soul, this is written all over him. I don’t know why I say that, but his effect is forceful.
He tastes like dark hunger, smoky lust and warm sun. He tastes like wild dreams and stormy pleasure.
Viva Fitzpatrick has had her whole life controlled for her. She is being forced to marry a man she doesn’t know.
After a lifetime of feeling powerless, with him as my new guide, my life has taken on all the glow of a phoenix rising.
These two are combustible together. We see a totally different side of Wolf in the book and I absolutely love it. Romantic, protective and hot as heck!!
It’ll be charmed by the stars in the sky, I can feel it. I can feel them guiding us from afar.
Only wide open dreams and everything Paradise has to offer.
It seems like this was the last book but I really hope we get more of the Ramsay’s because I want all of them to get there HEA!! PLEASE!!
I’m sheltered but even I can see that dreams are made of him

❎HIGHLIGHTS-❎
💌This was a beautiful book, like.... I could picture the houses and estates and the beach and it made me seriously droool.
💌Julie Capulet's Hs are ALWAYS the best.
💌Like, EVERY book I've ever read by her, her alphas have melted me.
💌If I had to pick one, Rafe Black from ILY series is my FAVOURITE H of ALL time. (If you've never read that series, Imma link my review of it below(spoilers inc)-
💌Even the side characters were like...... they were so intense that each of them deserves their own books.
💌This is the Paradise series, names after the estate of The Ramsey's.
💌Arrange-marriage romance.
💌I REALLY liked how even though Vivi was VERY shy, she finally manned up and took control of her life.
💌I actually loved that she talked back to Wolfe and Resisted his advanced even though her body said differently.
💌She and her family were practically Kardashians in this book.
💌I really REALLY hated how much her siblings and her personal designers looked and talked about her, like she was a thousand dollar purse, and not a real human.
💌Wolfe like always is a sex on two legs. HIS DIRTY TALKING THO!!!! 😵😍🤤🤤🤤🤤
💌But one significant thing is, I feel like Wolfe was wild, you know like....almost evil. He was out of control both in thoughts and actions, which I never anticipated in Book #1.
💌I always thought he'd be like Remy, silent and brooding. But he was one hell of a filthy bastard.
💌And I loved every second of it.
💌But I will admit, I felt like ..... there was a dangerous edge to his inner thoughts. Even after he was mesmerized by Viv's beauty, he thought to himself he never could be faithful in this marriage.
💌At this point I thought that he NEEDED Vivi, to reign him in.
💌Seriously, in some of his inner monologues I was like wtf!?
💌But hey, these are Julie's Heroes, when they fall. They fall hard and FAST.
💌All the Ramsey brothers are a bunch of pheromones.
💌Beware, there is a LOT of Drama and Angst in this series.
💌You'll love every second of it.
💌There were a few times where I felt that the description was repeated, but all in all it was enjoyable.
💌I read her books just for my fill of alphas , AND SHE DOES NOT DISSAPOINT.
🟥SPOILERS-🟥
🟩Both share their first kiss!!!!! *cue diabetes* 🟩Virgin h.(20) 🟩(29)Not really a manho, but he has been around. more than 2 months celibate. 🅾Safety- Yeah, I'll elaborate.... So, the h has a bi friend Ash whom.... she has..... a crush sorta you can say, like..... a friend that you find attractive. She likes him, but he is not THAT into her, although he's an excellent friend. She kisses him before H/h have seen each other. And by kiss I mean, she just touches her lips to him(not even a peck), neither feel anything. 🟩H isn't a manho, but he is looser than Knox you can say. 🅾OM drama- Jett(the evil step-cousin is abusive and almost rapes the h. ALMOST.) 🅾OW drama- Cheyenne, the EVIL OW who the H slept with a long time ago is constantly texting and tried to come b/w them. 🟩Both H and h take care of OW and OW very sassily. I LOVED ITTTT!!!! 🟩No-cheating. 🤤Smut- I LIVE for the smut of JCs books. Its freaking best of the best. For the first time ever, in JCs books theirs BDSM and lots of toys. Damn I MELTED at the scenes. There is SH*T load of smut in here. 🟩H is EXTREMELY J/P like..... One of the JPest H I've come across. 🟩h seems sweet but never judge a book by its cover. 🟩HEA. 🟩Epilogue-Married with a baby girl.
Should come with a fire warning 🔥🔥🔥 This book is smoking hot and a really entertaining read! I've read several Ms. Capulet's books and always enjoy them. She has an easy-to-read writing style and has honed that art of telling a story that hooks you in fast and doesn't let you go. This is written in a dual POV so we always know what's going on inside both Wolf and Vivi's minds, and get a front row seat to the banter between them. While Ms. Capulet provides a good explanation of the families and the alliance so you can read this as a standalone, reading book one in the series, Devil's Angel will add to the reading pleasure, giving you, a greater understanding of the complexity of the personalities and relationships and it’s a great read that's worthy of your time. But the story is about Wolf and Vivi and the relationship between them goes from zero to a hundred in a nanosecond but going along for the ride makes for great reading. I really loved the way they both changed and developed as characters from before the wedding to after. A few added twists and turns add to the overall interest level. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the story.
Dude if you are looking for an new Alpha brute of a man to haunt your raunchiest dreams this book is for you!
If you look up Alpha male in the dictionary you would see a picture of Wolf Ramsey. He is all my raunchiest dreams wrapped up in a tanned, ripped and sexy package. This book was steamy and full of so much love it’s will burst from the pages. Vivi needs Wolf in her life because she has spent her whole life in a box. Her life has been constructed for her and she is dying to get out and live her life. And Wolf is the key to it all. This book is fun, sweet and hawt! And I couldn’t get enough of it! Love!
I was lucky enough to get an ARC and I have to say this book was even BETTER than the first one!! I related a lot more with wolf and Vivi’s characters. This book is for you if you love: ✔️arranged marriage ✔️virgin heroine ✔️shy heroine ✔️light bdsm ✔️suspense ✔️alpha male
A growly, alpha hero whose main goal is to make his woman happy and feel good in all the ways? Yes. Please.
After reading Devil’s Angel, I couldn’t wait to dive into this one. In true Julie fashion, she gives us characters with passion and dedication and fierceness and protectiveness. Julie’s heroes aim to please and Wolf definitely pleased in all. the. ways.
Dirty talking hero? OMGoodness, YES. So many tingles and all the sizzles and zings. A heroine who is strong and sassy and easy to love? That’s definitely Vivi. Put these two together and it’s a perfect pairing for all the spice and happiness and all sorts of feel-good emotions.
While reading this book, Julie’s words succeeded at reaching in and capturing something of mine, whether it was my heart, my mind, or my soul. She’s awesome that way.
I have so many highlighted quotes in this story. Sometimes certain scenes made me want to stop and just let them soak right in and revel in the moment.
I wouldn’t say this was insta-love per se, but once Wolf realized the way he felt, everything clicked into place and he was all-in. And when Wolf is all-in? It’s powerful and it’s a beautiful thing. I really can’t pinpoint when the moment clicked for both Wolf and Vivi, when they both just knew. All I know is, it was done so smoothly and flawlessly I just wanted to curl up under a warm, fuzzy blanket and never stop reading.
One thing I loved about this story, which is usually the case with most of Julie’s other books, is the way you get pulled in and so easily caught up in the world. One minute the characters are just meeting, with sparks flying, then the next thing you know, their bond is so strong and beautiful and you’re flipping those pages, craving the words, and never wanting to put the book down. That’s exactly how this one was for me.
Just like with book 1, I fell fast and I fell hard. I got everything I love and need from a romance novel. This book comes highly recommended by me!
Book two in the series follows Wolf and Vivi and ends with a HEA. Though it can be read as a standalone, it does contain spoilers from book one and readers will find it most enjoyable to read the series in order. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV. Wolf is fiercely protective, a man of the land, tough as nails, and incredibly loyal. Vivi has lived a sheltered life where all of her decisions have been made for her under the guise of protecting her. She is more like a princess locked in a castle. Her family is not very nice to her. They are the complete opposite of the Ramsey family. I appreciated Vivi’s feelings of needing independence. Her innocence and naivety is compelling and with some distance she is finally able to come into her own. I wasn’t thrilled with Wolf to start with, but that changed quickly. Once he sees Vivi he falls hard and doesn’t even realize it. He has some of the swooniest dialogue when he makes promises to Vivi. He is also a filthy talker and a little bit of a dom. This made the book an incredible hot (read 5 flames) hot read. There are forces that want to cause the families harm. As a result, there are some scenes with violence. Sensitive readers should also know that the heroine has a few scenes where she is manhandled roughly by a secondary character and one scene where she avoids an attempted rape (not the Hero). I felt like these scenes were handled well and the secondary character in question meets an undesirable end. The author always does a fabulous job creating a world with luxury, lush settings, and steamy insta-love. The premise of the curse and the arranged marriages is interesting. Suspend your disbelief and step into the exotic world she created and enjoy the fantasy. I stayed up way too late to finish this ARC. I couldn’t put it down. I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an advance reader copy of the book.
Holly wow. What did I just read?!?! I didn’t think there was going to be a hotter man than Knox Ramsey but Wolf Ramsey said hold my beer. The spice in this book is so hot! OMGGGG love, love, love. The plot was good but keep in mind this is a fantasy world and you’d understand it better if you read book one first. Hoping we get Remy’s book next!
ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review
I think Julie Capulet has a special charm in her writing that makes me love her stories & characters despite being insta love, a trope I don't usually enjoy, besides, Vivi & Wolf became my favorites in this series and I absolutely LOVED their love story and everything the author prepared for them.
Vivi was a character that caught my attention in Devil's Angel and intrigued me a lot, a good & innocent girl isolated from the world who doesn't have much experience in anything about life, and that she's forced to agree to marry Wolf Ramsey to avoid the curse of the family alliance... and WOW! I didn't expect the turns her character took, especially his attitude and reaction towards Wolf's commitment and personality, something I loved about his character, plus I really enjoyed reading about his family and his feelings about them.
Wolf was already my favorite from the first book, but in Wild Hearts I fell completely in love with him: the wild boy of the Ramseys, he loves hunting, his collection of weapons and practicing MMA whenever possible , but his character, like Vivi, was full of surprises that I really enjoyed reading about. I also really liked learning more about the love he has for his siblings, how important they are to him and his feelings about the alliance between the three families, love and the curse.
Vivi & Wolf were even hotter than Knox & Cassidy, and while it's not something I'm usually into, I LOVED the immediate attraction these characters have for each other and the instant obsession of Wolf for Vivi, the way he becomes protective of her and wants to give her the freedom she's never had and Vivi trying to avoid the marriage to at all costs and being the bravest despite Wolf's strong personality. But what I loved the most about Wolf & Vivi were the similarities that both were discovering throughout the book and how cute they are together!

Brief Summary: Wild Hearts Death by Douche-baggery Cringe-iness Ok I’m aware that’s not a word but it’s fitting for this 😅
😩Ugh why JC did you do this to me? I have loved her books and her Men and was so looking forward to this💔.
❗️I would like to state I have loved this authors work for so although I didn’t love this I will continue to read her work❗️
Ok before we get to the cringe let me layout a quick summary of the book. This is the second book in a series of standalone.
Wolf- A Ramsey Vivi- A Fitzpatrick
-✨The Curse/ Alliance✨ There’s an archaic rule that’s attached to the Alliance. Once each generation, the three families are supposed to link through marriage. According to the rule, one of the Fitzpatricks has to marry a King and one of the Fitzpatricks has to marry a Ramsey. -Some generations follow the rule and some don’t. People rebel against it, not surprisingly. But most of them believe “bad things” happen to those who refuse to obey which is where the curse comes in.
-So lots of Arranged Marriages which is where we find our couple… arranged to be married to keep the alliance and curse at bay. It also sounds a bit like incest after a few generations 🤢.
-These 3 families run own most of the Hawaii islands, have lots of power, money and influence.
-Wolf does not believe in love, he is a manwhore and excepts the arrangement to help his brother Knox (from book 1) out.
-Vivi is a innocent beautiful young woman who is very over sheltered by her family so she hasn’t really lived or made any of her own choices.
🌟 Overall Opinion:
-Ok I tried 🥺I really tried to like this but 2 chapter in and I was so turned off by Wolf that I could get into it after that. It just kept getting worse and worse.
-I also couldn’t get past the extremely long repetitive inner monologue. Just so much repetitive thought. Normally it doesn’t bother me that much in JC books but because I didn’t like Wolf or the story it seemed more annoying this time.
-OK Wolf is a man-whore he apparently only has one night stands and keeps it impersonal cause he has “voracious” needs (his words not mine) and doesn’t want a clinger… ok I get it 😳….. But did I need to read an ENTIRE chapter about how irresistible he is to woman, how he can get them off like no other and how he can “enlighten” them and change their entire world with his dick and BDSM tendencies 🤮…. Ok douche!
-He said in his 4yrs in college the ONLY thing he learned was how woman were so attracted to him-his danger- he could get them to do whatever he wanted with just one look. 🙄
-He goes on and on about how he exudes danger, about his primal animal side that needs sating. He even kept referring to himself as a beast… he even called his dick a beast 🙄.
-After he explains his whoring ways he said this concerning another woman…. ✨Aurora King. A fuck bunny who’s been on the receiving end of every available bachelor on the islands. A walking petri dish of Hawaiian primordial ooze. I’m hardly a choirboy myself but I’m really not sure I could bring myself to go there.✨ 🤯Ummm ok double standard douche bag.
-And then we have the whole can I be faithful to my wife bit from Wolf….. ✨ There’s no rule in the alliance document that says we have to be faithful. Sure, it would be nice to want to. The thought makes my mood even darker. Could I be faithful? It’s not something I’ve ever had to consider before. Either way, my wife would have to be..Hypocritical as fuck, obviously. But how could I possibly allow my own wife to be with someone else? I’d kill him. And maybe her.✨ What!!!!????? The fact he even said that Is beyond words. 🤬
-When he picks out his conquests he calls it going on a “hunt”🤮 yuk heaven help me can this guy get any worse?
—He refers to sex with the h and OW as him “enlightening” them…. I mean do I need to say more?
-I think he’s ment to come off as OTT JP and confident but he’s comes off like a male-chauvinist-sexist-prick who’s a self absorbed, sex crazed pervert who only thinks about his dick.
-Then for a second he’s even thinking of taking her against her will 🙄ugh will it ever stop…. ✨ It would be so easy to push her panties aside and slide deep inside her. There’s not a damn thing she could do to stop me.✨
-🤦🏼♀️ UGH this guy please just shut up already… ✨Before her, I pictured myself in my thirties, maybe knocking up a few women on purpose just so my bloodline would be out there running around in the world, making waves.✨🤯🤯🤯 JC am I suppose to like this guy? A Few random woman!? 🤦🏼♀️
-👰🏼♀️ So the wedding night were he takes her V card…. He ties her ankles and wrists and pulls out his “Toys” the whole nine yards….but like this is her very first time. I didn’t like that she didn’t get - least one love making experience or more gentleness. But did Wolf care? No he needs her HIS way IF….”she expects fidelity” …. Well then she needs to satisfy HIS needs however he sees fit. 🙄
-He brags constantly about “changing” woman’s lives when he has sex with them and now he plans to set his wife free of her prison that’s she lived in with his dick 🤦🏼♀️….yes cause that’s the answer to all her problems. One orgasm to change your entire thought process🤷🏼♀️ of course why did I think of this.
-She wakes up the morning after their wedding and he has texts from OW begging for his amazing dick 🙄. He brushes her off and makes her seem stupid for me upset😡. BUT then he finds out she had 1 maybe kiss and he goes ballistic! Like full on crazed and spanks her for it. 🤯GAH
-At their wedding party OW (his ex hookup) and the girl who texted him…comes up to Wolf and offers to be his side piece. She touches him and brags about how he tied her up and the things he did to her right in front of ViVi. Soooooo….. he takes ViVi to their room to make “love” which he’s never done before in order to make her feel better about the OW. His version of making love? …..tying her up and whipping her… basically doing to ViVi what the OW had just bragged about him doing to her…. Way to make her feel special 👌🏻
-The wrap up and the end of the very little story line and plot that involed the villains wraps up in like a few paragraphs. So anticlimactic.
-If I had to hear how perfect or flawless the h was one more time I might puke🤮… mostly beautiful their relationship already came across as so superficial and sex driven.
-I did however start to like Wolf a bit more towards the very end like last 15%. 🤷🏼♀️ So that’s a plus I guess.
📖 Pages: 306

😡/😍 Emotion Level: Not great everything just didn’t seem genuine. It was just to cringy and childish to me deep

💥 Descriptive sex: Yes it was ok
🌓 Push/Pull: Some push from ViVi
☠️ OW/OM Drama: OM- she has a crush on her friend Ash they brush lips barley in the beginning. He doesn’t like her like that.

This was brutal I just couldn’t buy into the story or the characters which is a shame cause I really liked Knox and Cassidy story from the first book.
I have enjoyed this authors work a lot and consider her a SAFE author. This didn’t feel safe and sweet to me. Not like her other books. And I think it cause Wolf just didn’t hit the mark for me.
ARC Review of Wild Hearts by Julie Capulet * * * * * An arranged marriage that burns with obsession and delicious ecstacy.
Vivi was the beauty of her family, a shy shut in virgin who has had her life controlled and used on social media for nothing but her face and body. With a mother is dead, a crazed father who hates her, siblings she senses silent resentment from, and a bodyguard who scares her deeply, it shouldn't come as a massive shock when they marry her off. However, marrying her off to Wolf Ramsey was definetely not what she was expecting. The date is set, the party is being planned, and the deal is done. No matter what she wants or says. No matter if she tries to run...because Wolf is a hunter and he will chase down his bride. Wolf is capturd and drawn to the beautiful Vivi. The outside is one thing, but on the inside she is fiesty and strong...and hungry. He just needs to show her that. He will protect her. He will claim her. He will help her find her own power. No matter what happens, she is his and he will make sure everyone in Paradise and beyond knows that.
A very hot read that rivals the beaches on a summer day! Steamy and gloriously overdosing on the breeding kink, with some bondage for a extra little twist on top of the dominance. So happy that Vivi can finally stand up for herself against how her family controlled her and she was able to start making the decisions in her life. Silas is a massic nob-head that seriously needed to step up and see how she was suffering. Love how Wolf was not just all primal and carnal with his girl wanting to watch her every move, but help her be strong on her own. To the ladies that be chasing Wolf's tale...take a hint. His wife is just as possessive and she knows how to use sharp objects now thank to hubby. Wink, wink.
Wild Hearts is book 2 of the Paradise series. Even if you haven’t read book 1, Devil’s Angel, you can enjoy this one because Julie Capulet provides the readers with an informative chart of the three main families involved in an alliance set up by their ancestors. One stipulation is that every new generation is expected to arrange marriages to continue the bond of the three families. I found this novel to be much more than I expected. It is intense, emotional, romantic, and unlike other books with the arranged marriage trope. Wolf Ramsey steps up to marry Vivi Fitzpatrick when his brother falls in love with a mysterious woman named Cassidy. However, the innocent, timid, and shy Vivi is afraid of the hulking, handsome, but fiercely intimidating Wolf. Picture a mixture of Jack Reacher and Christian Grey and you get Wolf Ramsey. As the story develops, the readers discover so much more. Wolf is a man who is fiercely protective and is true to his family, his land, and has a sense of honor and duty. Vivi’s strength and wild heart are allowed to flourish under his love and protection. Julie Capulet is an amazing weaver of tales, which made this quite the page-turner! I received a free Advanced Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
As someone who has read Devil's Angel, the first book of this series, I was pretty underwhelmed and disappointed with how this turned out.
First things first, the writing here was cringe, I'm so sorry for the word, but that's what I felt when I was reading it. There are pretty much a few things I have issues with aside from this. Although, it was pretty fast-paced, which I was thankful for.
The second thing is the characters which I would say are the 2nd most disappointing in this book because I honestly couldn't feel the chemistry between Wolf and Vivian nor did I like or felt attached to any of them.
Overall, this was a missed, to be honest, 🙈. I wanted to love this because of Knox and Cassidy and the whole vibe of this series but sadly, I just couldn't give more high ratings than this.
I just hope the writing improved in the 3rd book, specifically the dialogues, the inner monologues and the developments. I'm still interested in the next instalment so hopefully.
Just wow! I LOVE this series! Though it is a standalone, I think it is even better that I read book 1 of Knox and Cassidy’s story as it all ties in together. In this second book, Wolf is very attracted to Vivi and agrees to “sacrifice” himself for his family. The chemistry between Wolf and Vivi is scorching hot enough to melt my Kindle but what melts my heart is how he really cares and tends to her. Julie Capulet is one of my favourite authors as her romances are scorching hot, passionate and the characters are so meant to be together in a way that makes my heart swoon.
I received a free advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest review.
A wealthy family that has so many rules Vivi can’t do much except stay in her Ivory Tower. She has a Fashion Empire but doesn’t enjoy it much because of all the family’s rules. Now they want her to marry someone that she doesn’t know all that well. That’s not going to happen if she has anything to say about it. This book has drama, suspense, twists and turns, intrigue, and scorching hot, sexy, steaming, chemistry. I voluntarily reviewed a free advance reader copy of this book and gave my honest opinion.
This is the second book in this incredible series, and this is Wolf and Vivi’s story. Viv has every aspect of her life controlled, and she is sweet, and shy, but inside there is a hidden rebellious side. Wolf chose Vivi for an arranged marriage as part of the family alliance, and she feels intimidated by him a first, but he is so protective of her. This is a well written story which has undeniable chemistry, romance, passion, twists, family, friendships, and love, which leads to an entertaining and riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Wolf is a sexy aggressive man and Vivi is a beautiful shy woman who wants to break out of her gilded cage. When Wolf sees Vivi at the party to see who will be in an arranged marriage, he is instantly attracted to her. Vivi sees Wolf and is instantly attracted but scared. When her brother Silas tells her she is to marry Wolf in two days she is not happy. Will Vivi marry Wolf? Great characters and storyline. Highly recommended. Amazing book. Love Wolf and Vivi so much Great supporting characters.
Fantastic second book in the Paradise series! The shy and quirky youngest Fitzpatrick sister is blindsided with the announcement that SHE is the one that will secure the arranged marriage - not her older sister. Viviene has every aspect of her life firmly controlled, but is drawing the line in the sand with being forced to marry Wolf Ramsey, a super dark and dangerous beast of a man that scares her with the intensity he causes within her. Wolf has resigned himself to step up for his brother's chance at happiness, but once he catches a glimpse of the shy Vivi, there is no turning back for him.
I am such a fan of this series! The stories have almost a sweet, "fated" aspect to it and I love how the heroes are all unwaveringly all in from the time they meet. Wolf is definitely my fave hero of the series so far. Super intense, protective, with "touch her and 🔪" vibes, but still manages to be a bit of a prankster. I love how he constantly builds her up. Vivi is super sweet and completely grounds him. They both have a lot more in common than what's on the surface and their relationship works despite their differences. Great storyline, tons of hot smexy, and a bit of action. Definitely a book you want to read!
