Snowed in Bite is the second novella in The Bite series by S.J. Tilly. You can either purchase this individually or as part of the box set, Baby Cakes, which is how I’m reading it. This is a continuation of Alice and Michael’s adventure and what an adventure it is!!

“It’s Christmas Eve, Alice. Don’t get on the naughty list now.”

It’s Christmas Eve and Michael is taking Alice with him to Canada for another holiday taping of the show Second Bite. Alice is still in awe that she is even with Michael, the man she has secretly loved for years and just met in person a couple of days ago! Only a blizzard has the plane landing in a small town and Michael and Alice get to spend Christmas in a beautiful cabin. It’s the Christmas of her dreams.

“Life gave me the most precious gift, and here, tonight, I vow to take care of her in every way I can.”

But soon enough, the weather clears and it’s time to move on. Except there are a couple of surprises in store for Michael and Alice! I’m completely obsessed with this story so am moving right on to the final story, New Year’s Bite! I love these two so much!

3.5 stars. This is a follow up to Second Bite and part of a trilogy of holiday novellas all following the same couple! We get age gap, plus size rep, he’s a baking show judge, she was a contestant on the show, he’s her celeb crush, and it’s so insta love but fun!

In this one, he’s taking her on a holiday vacation while they head to Canada so he can film a portion of his baking show. But their plane gets diverted and has to stop in a super small town because of a snowstorm and they end up in a cutesy cabin together for Christmas. All her Christmasy dreams come true and it ends leading you into the 3rd novella which is New Year’s Eve themed. Cute, fun, on KU!

this one was HOT 🔥🥵🤭 like 90% spice and i am AYE OKAY with that 👌🏼 throw in some santa play and my eyes were bugging out of my head trying to read faster. The way this one ended set up part 3 really well!

I love when people get snowed in together 😌

This was a smoking hot novella that is next up in the bite series after second bite! And oh my gosh it was so fun to see what happens to Alice & Michael after the ending of book 1!

Lets just say we are fans of hot tubs in this one ❄️

First read of the year and i already dont remember what this was about :D. (writing this review on the 12th of Jan lol). Hmm let me think, I think this was a cute lil moment where they were snowed in together before the filming of another show the MMC had to go film for, and all of a sudden they are talking about marriage and other things. I liked this– all it was was spice so if thats what you are looking for in novella form......this is for youuuuuuuuu.

A saccharine sweet addition to the Baby Cake world

Here the story tumbles into the next couple of days after the events of book 1. There is zero angst in this one, zero conflicts and it's more of an erotica tale with smex scene after the other but with no bite. Going all in with each other I'm not sure I truly believe the romance between famous chef, a la Gordan Ramsey, with the little no body from a piece of the world. I guess that's the part that made this too blah. It feels a little too fairy tale and unrealistic. I wanted to feel like this could be a true holiday season romance, I want the little nobody to be feel like a somebody due to her famous paramour, I want to see the celebrity perfection struggle with regular interactions because all of that would add to the romance. Not a bad read at all just kind of filler.

Loving the smutmas novella season. This is a continuation of the same couple Alice and Michael, which I love because it's a little different than her usual interconnected standalone, and we don't usually get that in novella series. This picks up right where we left off and we get a snowed in smut filled few days while they wait to go on location for Michael to shoot another show.

Snowed In Bite is book two of the Tilly World Holiday Novellas. We follow Michael and Alice as they have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day snowed in, in a gorgeous Christmas cottage, after their flight to Canada was diverted due to a blizzard.

In all honesty, this book was like 75% smut. The spice was spicing. It was also incredibly short, even for a novella. I was cruising along at 85% on my Kindle excited for the rest and BAM! The book was finished two pages later at 87% which I was slightly disappointed with.

Michael continues to be a top tier book boyfriend though. He was protective and caring, and I loved that Alice wasn’t overly fazed by the issue towards the end of the book. No tears and breakdowns for her. The end of this book perfectly sets us up for New Years Bite, the third and final novella in this series, and I can’t wait to see Alice find her feet judging on live TV with Michael by her side.

- I read the first book of this series last year, so luckily, I remembered the characters and the plot going into this book since it is a continuation of the first book with the same characters. Books 2 & 3 take place immediately following the events of the first book.
- Like the Mindfuck series by S.T. Abby, I recommend reading all of the books back-to-back, treating them like they're one book instead of three separate novellas.
- The two sentence-long chapters got really annoying really fast.
- Other than the weird short chapters, I enjoyed this short story!
- Overall: This was a fun, short, steamy read!

Hello spicy awesomeness!!! What an incredible book! Anytime an author re-releases a book and gives you more of the characters you love, is an amazing and wonderful thing!!! I will never get enough of Alice and Michael. I re-read Second Bite all the time, especially during the holidays, so to get this book and more of these characters is a joy!

This book takes place right after Second Bite. So we pick up right where Alice and Michael left us, happy, in love and being extra sweet and swoony! These two are soooo in love. The sparks and chemistry flew off the pages! I didn’t want to put the book down.

Alice was extra adorable in this story. From her first plane rode, to feeling bad she has no money to contribute to their getaway. To the way they get snowed in and have to stay at a cabin. Snowed in, in a holiday book is an absolute must!! Also hello hot tub scene and that icing, seriously, I was fanning myself how hot these two are!

This spicy awesomeness is best enjoyed reading it right after Second Bite. To get the full story of Alice and Michael. I fell head over heels in love with Alice’s fumbling adorableness and Michael’s grumpy, miserable at the world attitude. But he found his match in Alice and his happily ever after!

Baby, It’s Cold Outside!

If you are looking for a spicy novella, then Snowed in Bite by S.J. Tilly is something you’ll enjoy.

This story takes place right after Second Bite. Michael and Alice are heading to Vancouver where he will be filming for the holidays. Due to bad weather in their flight path, they land elsewhere and have a layover for a few days so the storm can clear.

Tucked away together in a cabin in the woods, with the snow falling, and a hot tub nearby makes for a wonderful Christmas for Michael and Alice. They make the most of their time alone as they continue to explore each other.

They get a bit of a surprise, or two, when they finally arrive at their destination. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with them for New Years.

I love how S.J. Tilly fits so much in such a short story, while keeping the spice level rising.

I love that Micheal and Alice were able to get some time alone while snowed in. OMG I'd love to see those paparazzi pictures for sure! This is one hot couple and I love how Micheal reassures Alice it's so sweet. His nicknames are so cute. I wasn't expecting the ending it felt sudden. I went to turn to the next page and was literally like nooooo ... But I'm excited to see this go into the next of the series.

Snowed In Bite: Picks up where Alice and Michael left off in Book 1, Second Bite. They are traveling for a little get away. From Alice's first plane ride, to being noticed it was so fun to read. Their little get away, however, turns to them being snowed in and well some drama to unfold. This is spice spice sppppiiiicy!!

Gah I love this holiday read!!! It's a continuation of second bite and is perfectly delicious. It does end quickly but book three is already out and ready to be devoured.
Michael and Alice are all the sweet goodness you want in this quick paced romance. It's all the sweet feel good moments that have you swooning.
Someone call Hallmark we need this into a movie ASAP.
