Gemma and Wylie were each other's first kiss. Now, they want nothing to do with one another. In fact, they live to annoy the hell out of each other. But while scheming to get revenge on Gemma's no-good ex-boyfriend and Wylie's mortal enemy, their best friends, Felicity and Dexter, team up to push the two together romantically. Could they uncover the feelings they are hiding just under the surface?
With great influence from the king of romantic comedies himself, Shakespeare, we follow the two along on their journey in the ups and downs of teenage life and family dynamics.

I normally don't write book reviews, but this book was absolutely amazing!! It was so cute and the perfect read to end the summer, I loved it so much I bought it on my kindle to read it faster 🤭 the small town beach vibes were immaculate and so fitting for the story, and the ending?? My jaw was quite literally on the floor.. All I gotta say is I will patiently be waiting for the sequel!! 🏖

this book was not my personal cup of tea, but it could be yours. its great for a ya romance and was cute. i binged the last 150 pages of this in one sitting. it did feel a little repetitive at times because in the first 50% we would switch povs alot and would go over the same exact thing with the only difference being how the different character felt in the moment. i personally did not like that because i felt like i was reading the same thing over and over again. the plot overall was good i like how felicity and dexter set wylie and gemma up. it was an approach i havent seen before and was refreshing to see. i was never giggling or kicking my feet as i often do in romance books due to a lack of connection with the characters unfortunately. the characters i will admit were well rounded, but i felt as if they acted a bit juvenile and more like 14 vs 17/18. the book did get better as i read on. the banter was pretty good and i did enjoy that. overall 3⭐️
