BEING BI

Rate this book
Fun There are more “B” people than all the other letters in LGBTQ combined. In fact, 60% of the spectrum are bisexual and therefore have the potential for romantic and/or sexual attractions to people of the same or a different gender.

Many, from scholars to rock stars and people of all stripes, believe that being bi, is a natural state of being, not only prevalent in the animal kingdom, but increasingly the self identification among humans.

This book is for anyone who wants to better understand what it means to be bisexual.

The mostly non-fiction Being Bi, comes in support of all of the colours of the Pride spectrum, and in defense all people’s right to safely exist, no matter their gender, gender identity, or sexual preference.

Musicologist and international radio host Jeff Woods is an 2SLGBTQ+ and human rights activist, and Being Bi is his meditation, memoir and manifesto, within 44 chapters, featuring 8 special guests, and 9 erotic stories of all flavours.

This is an educational, entertaining and often times humorous book that shines light on themes of bisexuality and relationships of all kinds, exploring subjects like polyamory and consensual non-monogamy, as well as trans, mental health, drag queens, and so much more. Mostly, it's a book about being yourself, no matter what they say.

honestly just gonna leave this line here, because it killed me lmaooo:

“I had to laugh when, on the subject of some people claiming to not understand same-sex relationships, someone wrote: ‘I don't understand
Korean either, but I still know it's a real fucking language.’”
(pg. 37)
