I received a review copy of this book.
Ice and Thunder is book 7 in this series, and it has one heck of a lot of overlapping plotlines. Lots of advancement too, with a bit of backsliding through no fault of their own doing of course, and almost no mention of the catastrophes released in the previous book, odd that.
The final battle in this one gives no real reason for the way the battle turns out, so perhaps that's something covered in the next book.
But, regardless of all that, if you've enjoyed the series up to now, you are more than likely going to enjoy this installment as well.
Off to read the next one now.

Als ob unsere Arkantischen Helden noch nicht genug zu tun hätten mit dem Aufstand der Untoten und ihren launenhaften Göttern, mischen sich jetzt noch Uralte Eiselfen mit ein, von denen keiner so recht zu sagen weiß, auf welcher Seite sie stehen. Gut, dass sich mit den Gefahren und Herausforderungen auch die Fähigkeiten unseres Helden weiterentwickeln - er wird sie brauchen, sowohl in der virtuellen als auch in der realen Welt.
Jetzt dauert es über ein Jahr, bis der nächste Band dieser Reihe auf deutsch erscheint, und ich habe ja ernsthafte Zweifel, an wie viel ich mich dann noch erinnern werde...aber nichtsdestotrotz bin ich doch sehr gespannt, wie es weiter geht!
