And when that same girl gets assigned to work with his hockey team, tension begins to rise between the two of them.

Jake and Vanessa come to find that they have more in common than they thought, an unlikely friendship quickly becomes more. Their initial attraction leads them down a path of temptation and desire, but Vanessa’s past relationships have left her wary of getting too close, preferring to keep things casual and carefree.

As they navigate their friendship, Vanessa and Jake must confront their own fears and insecurities. Will they be able to resist the pull of their emotions, or will they succumb to the inevitable and admit that what they have is more than just a regular thing?

5/5 stars WOULD RECOMMEND!!! A Regular Thing is now officially my #1 favourite sports romance to-date! I was immediately drawn into the world and characters that the author created — I was SO emotionally invested in Jake and Vanessa’s relationship and was rooting for them right off the bat! I absolutely cannot wait to read Kieran and Maddie’s story next🥹❤️

I enjoyed reading about Vanessa and Jack love story and watch it evolve over time.

Personally some of the tropes just weren’t for me, and there were some cringy moments but overall it was a good read, also a sucker for a hockey romance

Also always love supporting a Canadian author and one whom is local.

This one is a 3.75 ⭐️ for me.

I will definitely be picking up the second book of the series when it comes out.

I enjoyed this book :) This one is longer than your typical romance, which I really enjoyed. The author was able to dig more deeply into the characters and take a bit more time with their relationship, which I appreciated.

I really enjoyed the dynamics between all the characters in the book, not just the main couple.

I will be reading the next in the series, but not sure if it's completed yet.
