Tri-Axium Writings 1

Rate this book
Tri-Axium Writings is a series of three books on re-examining the composite reality of creative music and its related information continuum. Author Anthony Braxton believes that more than ever before there is a need for alternative viewpoints on this most important subject, and that unless efforts are made to restore a more practical and positive basis for viewing creativity, serious repercussions will await us in the near future.

Braxton wrote these books from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s as a response to the state of things at that time, with the hope that his viewpoint would inspire other similar efforts. This new edition is only lightly edited with new graphics of the schematic diagrams to improve reading and legibility. The Tri-Axium Writings are a positive contribution to the reality of information surrounding creativity.
