This might be my favorite book in this series! It was just so full of humor and fun! Princess Nahla takes a photo of a stray puppy and posts the photo to an adoption website to help the puppy get adopted. Unbeknownst to her, she accidentally caught the face of a previously anonymous assassin, known only as "Clyde," in the puppy's photo. Because of this, Clyde goes after Princess Nahla, so her family sends her to Sheik Mikail's palace to hide until Clyde can be caught. While there, hilarity ensues while Nahla and Mikail grow closer and fall in love. Trigger warnings include: talk about pew-pews and the stuff that makes things explode, talk about past un-alivings done by Clyde, Clyde trying to un-alive Nahla, a couple minor on-page injuries (not of either of the main characters), and a side character's grîëf. If any of those things cause you distress, please do not read this book; no book is worth your mental health. But if you enjoy fun, funny, light-hearted, royalty contemporary romance books full of romance and heat with a touch of danger, then this book if for you! However, to get the best experience, I do recommend you start at the beginning of the series and read the books in order, because other family members make appearances and past events from previous books are often referenced in other books in this series. So go and get your copy of book 1 of the Al-Sintra Family series, "Hiding in the Sheik's Arms", today!
I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for a fair, and honest, review!
5 ++ STARS A ‘comedy of errors’ Romance Princess Nahla Al Sintra of Lativa is a sweet, caring lady. She’s into photography and excels at capturing stunning compositions. In her latest, she has captured the desperation of an abandoned puppy in a filthy alley. She doesn’t pay any attention to the people in the deep background. She posts her photo to help this puppy find a forever home, and suddenly, her good deed puts her in the path of an assassin. This master assassin becomes a total Duffus on his mission to eliminate Nahla. I laughed out loud for half the book at his antics. Nothing goes his way. The good thing that comes out of Nahla being in danger is being forced to hide in the palace of her crush…Sheik Mikail Al Acantra of the neighboring but not-so-friendly Tavista. They dance around their attraction for a while but finally give in to their lust, then their love. It’s a sweet romantic story for more than Mikail and Nahla. Elizabeth Lennox threw in a couple of ancillary love stories around important characters in the story. I loved the many characters in this fantastic story. Linda
I received an ARC of this book for my honest opinion.
I enjoyed this grumpy-sunshine, royal romance. Nahla is a sweet, caring princess who would adopt every animal if she could. While involved in royal life, she has also made a career for herself as a photographer. In fact, a photo is what gets her into this mess as it is. She accidentally takes a picture of the bad guy while taking a picture of a cute picture that goes viral online. The bad guy decides to go after her, so her family decides she must hide out in the palace of Sheik Mikail, with who they do not have a strong alliance. Nahla and Mikail had met a year prior, and she felt sparks, but nothing happened. They both have been thinking about each other since, but Mikail doesn't want to do anything about it while she is his guest. You know what they say about your best laid plans.
I really liked how Elizabeth Lennox introduced us to the bad guy early in the book, so we also gain his perspective in this story. There are also a few side characters whose perspective we get for a few chapters sprinkled in. We also get a couple of quick love stories of those side characters at the end as an added bonus!
Next in the Al Sintra family saga is Princess Nahla and Sheik Mikail al Acantra of Tavista story. Nahla is an up and coming photographer who loves photographing pets. She inadvertently took a photo of “Clyde” an assassin known around the world who has been able to escape authorities. He is now after the princess because she got a clear photo of him. Mikail is from a country that Lativa isn’t on friendly terms with yet but it would be the perfect place for her to hide. As they are hiding from the assassin they get to know each other. As Clyde is closing in, lots of interesting things are taking place. The computer hacker who has been helping Clyde has decided that she wants to stop helping and his newest obsession with the princess isn’t right! Also,Loretta, whose husband was killed by Clyde is after him!
In her usual expert fashion, Elizabeth Lennox has woven another story of love and danger. Sheik Khal Al-Sintra of Lativa's only daughter, Nahla, is a famous photographer who is recognized for taking quaint photographs that promote the rehoming of needy dogs and puppies. Unbeknownst to Nahla she accidentally captured a likeness of a master mind assassin in the background of one of her puppy pictures. The arrogant criminal is enraged at his photo being circulated worldwide. This starts a chain of events that put her life in danger and results in Nahla hiding in Travista, Lativa’s neighboring country, governed by Sheik Mikail al Acantra. Thus begin the fireworks! This is a fun read with some very entertaining moments and comical situations. I loved it.
Princess Nahla accidentally captures an assassins face on photo, she doesn’t have a choice but to go into hiding. Princess Nahla’s cousin Saif arranges for Nahla to stay in Sheikh Mikail palace. Mikail and Nahla saw each other a year back, and have not stopped thinking about each other. Now living under one roof the attraction soon gets too strong to ignore. I had fun reading this book - read it in one sitting. I loved how broody yet protective Mikail is of Nahla - too cute. I also loved the additional HEAs included at the end. There are a few instances involving the assassin that were hilarious. Though there are a few question marks with regards to how did he managed to track Nahla.
This is the 9th book in the series and it is awesome. The plot was very well written, it is funny, romantic and sensual. Princess Nahla accidentally captured the photo of a serial killer while rescuing a puppy. To protect her, she is sent to the palace of the H, Sheikh Mikhail. There is an attraction between them, they had met previously but their countries were enemies. I couldn’t put it down, the scenes where the killer was hurt was hilarious, the h almost took him out. The series so far has been wonderful with creative plots and characters. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Great epilogue.
This is the 9 book in the Al-Sintra family about Mikail and Nahla. Nahla is a good girl princess who would adopt every animal if she could. She accidentally takes a picture of an assassins face while taking a picture of a cute picture that goes viral online. Princess Nahla, is sent to Sheik Mikail's palace to hide until Clyde can be caught. Nahla and Mikail had met a year prior, and she felt sparks, but nothing happened. They both have been thinking about each other since they meetg, but Mikail doesn't want to do anything about it while she is his guest. As they are hiding from the assassin they get to know each other.
Great love story i love how he protected her but it didn't really dive into much detail about how the assassin found her hiding place and how the hacker traced her yet I thought she was moved from her home to his home to go into hiding so she could not be found or traced yet the assassin found her and managed to sneak into the palace undetected which was odd considering it should be high security for a palace. Other than that good story

What an enjoyable book! There were times I found myself laughing out loud. The relationship between Nahla and sheik Mikail was interesting. Mikail was always grumpy because he was attracted to Nahla. When they finally got together it was hot. I loved the epilogues on the other characters of the book and it made it all tie together.
I so enjoyed this book, it was sweet and funny! Spoiler: Honestly when’s the last time you read a book where the princess was teaching herself archery and accidentally (and unknowingly) shoots her assassin in the derrière? It’s so great! The ending was so well done too with our “nerds” as an added bonus!! Such a great book!

This was one of my favorite books by Elizabeth Lennox. I love seeing good overcome evil and how Elizabeth achieved this was genius. I love how the heroine of the story unknowingly conquered her intended killer by silly mishaps. This story not only a good romance but also made me laugh which was desperately needed at the time.
I love that Nahla and Mikail's story started with a puppy! Elizabeth did a fantastic job of weaving some other romances into the book so there were a total of three happily ever afters! The fact that a feared assassin is chasing after Nahla and the humor surrounding his downfall made this book so enjoyable to read!
There were too many irrelevant characters and focus on them. I did’nt give a damn about Heather the chef or her romance with Tom the guard. Or Leona and Hector for that matter. Lily was also irrelevant. I felt like it ruined the book because the characters really did’nt have a purpose so they were just there to draw the story out. A wast of space.
I love this author, every book is different, and this one was especially fun. I laughed so much thanks to Nahla’s actions. I have really enjoyed this series, but I think this one is my favourite so far. I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.
Nahla & Mikail's story is another one filled with passion, laughter, romance, and mystery. It's light-hearted, fun and steamy; really enjoyed the extra romances thrown in with other characters ☺️ looking forward to the next book in this lovely family saga!!
This book is about Nadia and Mikal. Princess Nadia loves animals taken pictures, but unfortunately in the latest pictures she caught a pictures of an assassin. So bring on intrigue and murder, but there so many funny moments because of Nadia with her sunny outlook on life. This book was so good.
Omg another hit. Love the dynamics, the story and the characters. But Poor Clyde. Appreciate the two pseudo epilogues to round out the story. Thank you
