This has got to be one of the worst books I’ve read this year. It was truly 50% of the main character “wondering what happened”. I skimmed through the last half because it was just so unbelievably dumb. Not to mention all the spelling and grammar errors. Ugh. First and last book by this author for me.
Though this isn’t something I’d typically read, I thought I’d still enjoy it. The pace was pretty quick and got to the point which was great, however, the story was just so predictable. The characters weren’t really all that interesting to me; they seemed very bland and were annoying most of the time.
If you enjoyed this book, I’m glad! Sadly, it just was not for me.
Interesting with a lot of twists, some you saw coming. Inner dialogue was often repetitive. I don't think the protagonist learned the right lessons from her ordeal, so I found the ending disappointing.
Margo and Tanner, a young married couple have a lot going for them. She takes beautiful pictures on their trips posting them on her Blog 'Extemporary Moments'.
As a 'True and Honest' romance influencer Margo has to keep up appearances. When she decides to 'try to pull the wool over her followers eye' is when things take a different turn. Are things in her life hectic, does she have a stalker among her haters, what is real 'honest' love?
Youve got to read this book Gone Viral by Mary Stone and Angela Kay. I couldn't put it down after starting it. I read into the early morning hours and I was back at it after getting up. I really enjoyed the book front cover to back cover and can't wait to see more from the two Authors
Found this tough to get into. Couldn’t relate to main character at all. The entire premise is so far fetched. I skimmed entire chapters just to get to the predictable conclusion.
I couldn’t even finish this book after a month of trying I only got a few chapters deep and stopped. This one just took me nowhere and grabbed nothing but my time.
GONE VIRAL is a new Psychological Thriller from Mary Stone and her new co-author Angela Kay. This is not Ms Stone's normal law enforcement thriller mystery, rather it's centered around an "honest romance/love" influencer along with a twisted and frightening plot. A page turner that's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Margot Avondale's website, 'Extemporary Moments' has half a million followers. Then her life starts falling apart. Her husband has vanished, and she's receiving disturbing postings on her website. She really gets frightened when the postings and even private email start turning darker and stalker like. They know way too much about her private life. Now she's getting scared and feeling like she could be losing her mind, looking at everyone she knows as a suspect.
Throughout out this story I was bouncing from suspect to suspect trying to figure who the real perpetrator was. I even wondered if Margo could be having a psychotic breakdown.
A fast paced read that will keep you on the edge of your seat to the end. You won’t want to miss this one!
I did receive a copy of this book from the authors, and this is my freely given and honest review
Margot and her hubby Tanner seem to have everything going for them, but do they? Margot has an online blog that has a great number of followers. She shares photos of people that are obviously in love, while hiding the faces in those pictures. As they get ready to head to Paris for a second honeymoon things begin to unravel. A series of scary incidents lead her to believe she is being watched. After some very strange actions by husband Tanner, he suddenly goes missing. This sends Margot further down the rabbit hole, and things get stranger yet. Great read!
Wow, hold onto your seat. This is a heart pumping, can't put it down, who can you trust kind of book. It's easy to get lost in this book. A young poster has Gone Viral with her photographs. But she had no idea what that can do to her life. And the viral photograph has a dark side that she is about to learn is more sinister than she can imagine. She has no idea who she can trust and now her husband is missing. It really does keep you on the edge of your seat. This is a must read! If you like the thrillers this will meet your expectations. Great read.

Margot and Tanner are a young couple with a "forever" love. As an internet influencer, Margot posts pictures of scenes depicting what she believes is "true love". But as we all know, there is a lot of false information depicted on the internet. After Margot and Tanner go to the airport to take pictures of their departure to Paris, as part of a travel vlog featuring luggage that will net them $50 K everything begins to crumble. As a psychological thriller, you know there are going to be twists and turns, the question is who gets killed and who is the murderer??
Gone Viral: (A Psychological Thriller) By: Mary Stone and Angela Kay. Margot Avondale she is an influencer capturing the moments until she captures the wrong one. Tanner is the loving husband or is he? Brooke is Margot childhood friend but jealousy can change even the loyal friends. Finally Aaron the sweet guy but is he really? All these characters and one suspenseful story. This book was outstanding!!!
There are not enough adjectives to describe this book. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was totally blown away. As I read I kept thinking of so many different scenarios. Even the ending was a surprise but the guilty party actually was in my scenario list. This was the most suspenseful and thrilling book I've read in a very long time. Mary and Angela really nailed it!
Lies have a way of taking over and have a life of their own. This is what Margo, "an influencer" who peddles "true land real love" finds as responses to her pictures vary and have an impact on many. Her relationships are questioned, someone is stalking her and things are unraveling fast. A fun and fast ride through the terror of life becoming more and more out of control.
Margot is an influencer who shares pictures of people/couple representing love and romance without disclosing who they are. She and her husband seem to be madly in love until he goes missing. Then she starts receiving messages and pictures that unravel her life as she knew it. A great read with lots of twists and turns. I definitely recommend this book.
I didn't care for the main character at all. She was just too strange. So I skimmed over a lot of the junk until we got to the meat of the book. Then I became more interested in the who did it. But still Margot and Brooke just seemed so stupid. Glad I finished it, but wouldn't recommend it.
First book by Mary Stone that I didn't really love. Don't worry... will still read your books! ;-)
GET THIS ONE QUICK. A NEW SERIES THAT GRABS YOU FROM THE FIRST AND DOESN'T LET GO TILL THE END AND LEAVES YOU LOOKING FOR THE NEXT ONE. WELL WRITTEN AND ORIGINAL WITH GREAT CHARACTERS YOU WILL LIKE. DO NOT MISS THIS ONE OR THE OTHERS BY THIS AUTHOR. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM ALL
This was a awesome story about Margot and wondering where and why what happened to her husband and who is behind it and finding out who done it and why with lots of suspense and action. Thank you Mary and Angela for this excellent story.
I totally immersed myself in this story. Couldn’t put it down and the plot twists were exhilarating! Added to my “best of Mary Stone” list. Give this one your patience, initially, then it will grab you and take you on a roller coaster ride.
A truly terrifying realistic story of love, loss and youthful mistakes. The story keeps you up because you have to find out what unbelievable thing is going to happen next. You just can’t put the book down until you finish.
