You can't master your future if you're a slave to your past...
It is hard to find a mystery novel that has all the elements that I look for. This story measures up and goes beyond all my expectations. Who wouldn't want to dive into dark elements, spooky settings and cryptic passageways. Hawthorne Hall holds many secrets. Knox Pearson attended Hawthorne many years ago and still has nightmares from what he witnessed. He decides to gather his friends from that time they spent together at Hawthorne and re-open it to atone the actions that occurred there.
Sara Rutherford has many talents. She is an amazing renovator and also has special powers. They come in handy when her Uncle who works with her on the renovation, goes missing. Knox and Sara collaborate to try and solve the secrets that are hidden within the walls and tunnels of the Hawthorne Estate.
I was gripped by the intrigue of this story and was completely enthralled. A Must Read!!
