Great Read!

I really enjoyed reading Jabar and Nori, all three of them girls are something but Lucy is the ring leader 🤣. Kayden was a ‘F’ boy for sure and he got what he deserved for sure, I did not see why Nori was being so naive with him like girl your daughters even know they daddy ain’t shidddd. Jabar was that man for sure, I love reading about a man who can show emotions throughout the book. This was a great read for sure and I am happy to see Nori really got everything she wanted because she deserved it for sure after she got out of her own way.

Nori & Jabar were a nice time. Jabar was a provider and protector, doing exactly what needed to be done. The storyline moved kind of quick, but overall good read. 🤎

I loved this book and I especially loved Jabar. Lord knows that man needs to exist in my world. Jabar was all about Nori when they bumped into each other at the gift shop in Hawaii. There is not much to say about Jabar because he was clearly the good guy. I mean what man you know steps in and moves a woman he knows nothing about in a home and there's no rent? and What man you know will buy her and her daughters groceries and takes them on a shopping spree with no limit as to what they could but? Jabar..Thats who!! He was so good to Nori and her girls...Nori on the other hand, weeeellllllll....let's just say that heffa got on my last consecutive nerves. She was consistently battling with her inner self to leave a relationship of 14 years that didn't serve her no purpose or her 2 daughters what so ever!!! I think Nori needed counseling to pick apart her sense of thinking when it comes down to knowing her self worth and self respect, because I could not have let a man stand in my face and call me the names that he did (oh my god!! Kayden would have been under the church that his mom had his funeral at). Nori just couldn't have been me, it took her 14 years to realize that her relationship was at a dead end. Kayden on the other hand was the type of guy that I would have been in prison over. Kayden was very disrespectful to Nori to say she was the mother of his two daughters. We not gonna mention that he was the one that was absent in both being a father and a boyfriend. Im glad that at the end Kayden got what he deserved...

He is a good man, Savannah.

Ms. Tatum, you, your mind, and these characters have been showing out all 2024. This novel included because Kayden was loco and Jabar wasn’t the one to blink an eye on. Jabar was the man that Nori did not know she needed. He came into her life just at the nick of time because the rabbit hole Kayden was going down was growing exponentially in size. He wanted control over Nori and the girls life so bad he was willing to do anything to keep them under his thumb. Jabar had to demonstrate for Kayden how a man, not a boy, handles women. He gave Nori not only her needs but also her wants as well. He stepped up for the girls and made sure they had. He made sure to put all three girls in STEM classes. His little one, Lucy, was fiesty. However, she finally got a mother figure from Nori being in her life. Lucy also gained two big sisters. I said all that to recommend this masterpiece to others. Ms. Tatum did her thing with this work of art. And yes, Jabar is "a good man, Savannah." In other words, you will be fully engaged in the twists and turns in this book. Grab your copy today.

3.5 ⭐

Nori has two kids with a buster she's been with since high school. She goes to HI with some girlfriends and meets Jabar. While in HI Jabar validates Nori and cares for her in a way her BD simply does not.

When they return home, Nori sees Jabar again while attempting to move her & her daughters out of the apt she shares with now ex. Jabar helps her leave the home safely and provides a safe place for her and her kids to land.

Jabar is ready and willing to step up and step in. That man was supportive, protective and dedicated to Nori and her kids. Also, Jabar is a single dad and his daughter immediately clings to Nori and her daughters and it's really cute.

Jabar had a daughter that stayed in trouble at school and he was at the end of his rope.... Nori had two daughters that she loved with all of her heart but their dad was in the house with them but didn't spend time with them. Who would have thought that these two would meet on a trip and he is her man's boss, this story had a lot of ups and downs but it all worked out in the end. Great Book

A man who don’t play

One things for sure and two things for certain a book where a man stands on business gon always be top tier for me! Kayden played in our girl face way TOO long… he got exactly what he deserved😏… Jabar was everything Nori needed and deserved glad she got her rainbow after the storm.

What One Man Won’t Do

Kayden found out the hard way that what one man won’t do that another man will when he lost Nori to Jabar. It’s sad that Kayden was in the household with Nori, Sasha, and Kayla but was still a absentee parent who used money to bully and dominate them to accept the bare minimum that he was giving to them. The best things Nori did for herself and her girls was leaving and not returning and being open to letting a boss love on them fiercely.

Sometimes behind every strong woman is a low-down dirty dog holding her back—and Seduced by the Plug captures that dynamic perfectly. My girl Nori had me tore up. She was pouring everything into a relationship that was clearly on E. We've all seen it: good woman, blind love, and a man who’s not ready to be the king she needs.

But whew—when I say "exposure expands your expectations," believe that! One girls' trip was all it took for Nori to get a taste of something real, something powerful, something different... and let’s just say the blinders came off real quick.

This book had me locked in from start to finish. Tatum James did her thing with this one.

P.S. Kayden can kick boulders with no socks on. And that’s putting it nicely.

Let me start off by saying Tatum James does not miss with the releases. Here is the story of Nori and Jabar and I enjoyed every part of it too. Jabar was a BIG DAWG and applied lots of pressure. Great Job ❤️

Loved It

Learning to love yourself can be hard, when you put your self second. Jabar and Nori meeting was so organic! Jabar was able to show up for Nori in ways she couldn't even imagine. Losing a parent can be hard on a child, though they may not directly let you know what they're feeling, their actions may show otherwise! The kids in the story, shed so much light regarding their feelings and what they're able to observe and address it as they only way they know how.
The epilogue was on point, their blended family was so precious and Jabar and Nori deserved happiness!

Oh what a hater her kids father was. You did want her, but didn't want nobody else to have her. So glad that a real man was able to step in and show her what real love felt like.

Being loved the correct way means something different to everyone but in Nori's case Jabar loved on her how she needed to be loved and wanted. Time waits for Noone and finding your joy and peace is critical to living a satisfied and happy life. This is a must read! Bravo!

Jabar and Nori

Nori was in a dead end relationship with her kids father. A getaway with her girls to have fun leads her to meet a mystery man named Jabar! Jabar and Nori’s reaction to seeing each other for the first time is one you would see in a fairytale. Sometimes love finds you when you need it most! A great read!!

Jabar that right kind of unhinged

The only thing that got me about this book and continues to get me is the women staying with the man for the kids. However, T.J. bought a good point to the forefront for that, it hurts the kids when we do this. Jabar was so accommodating and understanding but ole boy was surely testing that gangsta in him. Nonetheless, T.J. did her thing with this one.

Tatum James never disappoints. Her characters are always well-rounded.

Jabar was handsome, sexy, and successful. He was also a single dads trying to navigate life. Nori had a man, but he was worthless. Taking a girls' trip to Hawaii changed everything. Nori and Jabar had instant chemistry.

Jabar showed up for her. He showed her how a woman should be loved properly.

Really great read!!!

Love a Blended Family

This story line was so realistic and I appreciated that. I thought Ms Lucy would be more of a problem but I’m glad she softened up. I can’t believe how crazy her bd acted. It’s always like that though .. they think you won’t have better because they say so

What A Man…What A Man!

Jabar was that man! Protector. Reliable. Dependable. And any other positive description you can think of when looking for a partner. And Nori deserved it. Great read!

Real love

Kayden worked my nerves just like the typical man he didn’t appreciate Nori and soon as she wanted to leave it was a problem. He did all that for someone he didn’t want . I’m glad Jabari came on and showed her and the girls real love and affection they definitely deserved it. Lucy was a trip I’m glad she got the mommy she wanted. All in all this book was good

Nori deserved all the happiness and then some that Jabar offered her and her children. She did everything right in a loveless relationship till she learned to love herself first. Knowing that Jabari stood in his corner till the gloves came off to fight for her and her love, her battle got easy. That Jabar was a MAN in every sense of the word!

Great story

At first I was skeptical because I thought it would be cliché. However, it was well written and structured well enough to flow and feel believable. A few things I would've changed regarding Kaden. But other than that, it was a sweet short story. It had me in my feels.

This was just okay to me forreal, idk I might be childish but when you include plug or boss or king pin in the title lmao I expect a lil more drug dealing shenanigans and boss activity. It’s mentioned like once that Jabar is the plug and that’s it we hear more about his real estate career than anything else.

While I like our main FMC enough she had some hurdles that annoyed me. Like she was alway catching an attitude with her home girls but tip toe in around that worthless baby daddy. I also feel like his turn to verbally abusive and physically abusive was rapid and drastic. Like I know a lot of men do get crazy when they sure thing try and dip but he went from about a 2.7 to level 505759636 in a matter of two chapters. He mad some rude comments about her body in the beginning but that was it, next time we see an interaction he tryna tear her shoulder out the socket and repossessing vehicles. I appreciated Jabar stepping in but overall it just lacked that umph.

Additionally I hate when authors include a character and they only have like one scene and just float off into outer space. Like Sure Brittany or whatever the lil hater chicks name was didn’t need multiple chapters but at least give us a glimpse of what happened between her and Melanie after the trip.

This was a very loving! Just enough action to keep me holding on for what was going to happen next. We all dream of the one person to come along to be any and everything you desires. He didn't miss a beat. It's a wonderful thing when you realized your on self worth. Plus he was ready for a change in his life. Beautiful moving love we all want in life. Well done. I'm a fan.
