Harbor Of Secrets

Rate this book
John Tucker must die meets Lady Whistledown.

The Pristine Academy of charms and spells is a place where everything shimmers and glows with enchantment, yet secrets hide at every turn. Arielle Harbor knows that better than anyone. Taking on the role of the school secret note giver, Arielle uncovers private affairs for students and responds to their inquiries. Compared to the clandestine cloak and dagger stuff her own family does, never mind the unusual deaths that haunt her family’s lineage it makes the stuff at school a welcome escape.
When Arielle answers a girl named Winnie’s plea to find out if her boyfriend is cheating and the answer is yes, Winnie take off her ballet slippers and embarks on a journey of revenge and self-discovery. As Winnie explores the school, she uncovers fascinating details, such as a water nymph in the lakes and rivers of the school grounds, and a fear hall that reveals students’ deepest fears.
While Arielle herself is distracted by the newly admitted male Gorgon, he might be the one secret in the school she can’t crack. Even as she struggles to find a way to break her family curse. For the first time ever, Arielle may have chewed off more than she can swallow.

This book started as a fun short light read that I ran into and read going in blind. Let's start with the cover, how cute and pretty is she 😍!

Gonna avoid spoilers but this is a must read!
IZZY is the sidekick snake I didnt know I needed.

Ariella has a crazy past and is afraid of .....!!!?

There is magic, there is banter, there is what seems will possibly be a slow burn? Will have to read second book to know! Magical creatures, plot twists and so much!

I cannot wait to read the second book! if your looking for any of these things, do not hesitate you will love this!

This book will keep you intrigued all the way throughout it. It definitely has the vibe of how the author describes "John Tucker must die and Harry Potter mix". It is told from multiple main characters points of views but all their story lines mold together beautifully. This was an amazing short fantasy read, that I read in a day and will continue to recommend.
