Great knowledge on runes, but with the last 1/2 of the book being damn near every rune stone to exist, the book is fairly short, 123 pages to be exact. The rest of the pages are just pictures and and minor snips of all the rune stones that we know exist.
I liked the history and the meanings of each runestone. The descriptions of each rune were why I bought the book as they are very thoughtfully described. The last half of the book was dragged out and filler. While I found the runestones and archeology interesting I didn't feel I needed to know every runestone.
