This one crossed a line, for me, that made it difficult to enjoy. I’m not trying to yuk someone else’s yum, but there are scenes during their fantasy playtimes where the MMC talks about this being “their secret” (“their” being daddy and his Little) and how she needs to “let daddy force her” even if she doesn’t want to, to make daddy happy. Between those examples, and several others, it just crossed a line for me past “healthy fantasy” to feeling too close to pedophilia. Now, I honestly do not feel like this was the authors intention. And I’m sure many other readers won’t feel the same way I do about this story and will enjoy it.

I’m still new-ish to the DDLG genre. However, with most of the other DDLG books I’ve read, the man’s impetus for the daddy/little relationship comes from his inherent need to nurture, love, and care for another person, “in all ways.” This book didn’t feel like that for me personally. But that doesn’t mean other readers won’t love it.

Yeh a bit disappointed with this one. It just didn't land for me for some reason....well for many reasons. I have loved all the other books in this series, so I was a bit surprised when this one didn't do it for me. Part of it could have been because there was too much time since I read the other books in the series. For some reason, the whole kidnapping and how she was so willing just came off a bit cringy (rather than hot) to me. I may have to do a quick re-read of some of the others to see if I still find them so 🔥🔥!

I liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable even though it was a bit out there. Hudson was totally over the top. His reaction to seeing Fay again was surprising and a bit violent. Fay was way too ok with Hudson keeping her since she didn’t know him. There was plenty of steam and some sweetness too. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

The fact that I just finished Jackson and Chastity's book before picking this one up is just *chef's kiss*. What a fortunate coincidence. Clancy didn't even appear on my radar as a potential male lead in that one.
