Hidden Truths was a pretty fast paced thriller. I'll admit, it did take me a little bit to get into the story at the beginning, but once the story picked up, I really got into it and enjoyed. Mina sounds like me... very forgetful, has no sense of direction, and doesn't remember things very well. She meets Derrek who introduces himself as someone else. But Derrek has a plan. He was hired to unalive her, but after feeling a deeper connection to hereupon seeing her, he decides to watch her a little more first. Once he does, he realizes that the AOD (the company he works for that sent him on this job) may have had it wrong and she's not the right person they are looking for. Now, his job is to keep her alive. I loved the twist in this one. I also loved Derreks' mom. Her character really brought some lightheartedness to the story and I enjoyed that. A good read overall.

Wow, what a great story!

Mina is quirky and fun while Derrek is deep and broody but together they are hilarious. I loved all the characters! From the old men guarding the building to his mother…so funny. But the end! Wholly cow, I didn’t see it going that way at all. Great story! Thrilling adventure!

Mina is living her best life! Then here comes Derrek.
A goofy yet mysterious kinda fella. The fact that he isn't bad to look at makes flirting with him easy.
BUT can she truly trust him? He says she can, but is he telling the truth?
Their attraction for each other is undeniable, but is it real?

I loved this book! It was hilarious to read from Derrek’s point of view while knowing what Mina was up to. 😂 If you are looking for a story that is funny with intense moments then this is the book for you.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. It’s a fast paced story with great characters. My only complaint is there were lots of grammar and spelling errors.
