Noah is a quiet storm, navigating through life with a calm detachment. Creed is the youngest child of Creed and Troy, parents whose love for each other is as volatile as it is intense. Growing up in the shadow of their fame and her siblings, she craves attention and thrives on chaos. What happens when Chaos sets it's sights on calm?
The only reason this didn't get 1 star was because the cover was nice. For once, the guy on the cover of a mf romance is hot.
This book beggars belief. What tf did I just read? I love drama but come on....you couldn't even catch your breath after one thing happened before another even worse, more outlandish thing happened.
I did like that there was an emphasis on getting individual and family therapy because this family was wild.
I also liked that the FMC was very sexually open and sexually forward. So many FMCs nowadays are shy virgins or shy inexperienced women that have had 1 or 2 partners before the MMC.
You are amazing at what you do! Only you can make me read about yt men and actually like it lol. But anyways the book was amazing. Noah , Creed and Maine were replicas of Troy , Scarlett and Tiffany. Fortunately for Noah and Creed they didn't adopt the victim mentality despite their childhood. They learned from Troy & Scarlett what not to be. Although not biologically his Noah still had some of the same characteristics as Troy IMO. The book was hilarious from beginning to end. And girl why did you let Ebony and Ivory drive that damn soccer van?! Thank you for the cameo's too!! Lastly I hope Jason gets it together for Akane! Maybe we'll get to see the progression of their relationship in the future?
Two pages in and the book was already purchased. Author Shantel Davis brings another knock story between creed and Noah, and let me tell you every page will leave you jaw dropped.
I’ve always relied on a good Shantel Davis book to pull me out of a reading slump, so I was thrilled to discover she had written a sequel to The Stepbrother. However, while I enjoyed the book overall, I found it somewhat underwhelming. There was a lot happening, with many characters introduced, yet most lacked sufficient backstory or development. One of the things I’ve always admired about her writing is the shocking twist she typically delivers at the very end, but I didn’t get that here. It just didn’t feel like her usual style—if that makes sense. Still, it was an enjoyable read, even if it didn’t quite live up to my expectations.
2.00 Stars. (BW/WM). Kindle Edition $2.99/279 page e-book. SETTING: Contemporary Georgia. TROPE: Step sibling romance. MAIN CHARACTERS: 1. NOAH is the male lead. 2. CREED is the female lead. 3. TIFFANY is Noah's and Maine's mother. 4. TROY is married to SCARLET they are Creed, Ebony, Ivory and Jason's parents 5. MAINE is Noah's half sister; also, she is Creed's half sister because Troy is her father.
The is story has family dysfunction overload. The romance between Noah and Creed is unreal. To say Creed is promiscuous is a gross understatement. Noah and Creed have sex with each other and continue being intimate with other people; therefore, caring about their relationship is difficult. They got the HEA of course as did Troy and Scarlet.
One however wasn’t nothing to sneeze it. Is it weird to say that some of Shantel Davis characters feels like family almost? To wove a story together and bring back cameo’s from characters from other books. Two things may happen, You get real excited when names appear and you know character background or you like. I need to go back over Shantel catalog I might have skipped books. That tells you this book was bomb, your enjoyed reading and greedy to read something else from writer
The emotional roller coaster that this book had me in.Shantel Davis Did not give us the typical stepbrother books that we always read she took a stepfather she made you think these characters was real. You actually wanted to look up their songs to see if they had a TikTok or Facebook you could follow. If she wants to make a part three I’ll definitely be here for it, but she has so many other books and so many other characters so yes, I will be moving on to the next book.
Noah & Creed's story was exactly what was needed for me after reading Troy & Scarlett's story from book 1. I definitely fell in love with Noah during book 1, and he retained that title in #2. The storyline floated with never a dull moment, and that's why it deserved 5 stars! Keep them coming, Shantel🤩. I have read ALL of your books 📚 and I love the crazies 🤪😍
yep it’s a good One! The family that heals together . I love that!
Part II just as good as the first one . It gave you so much for insight on the Characters the drama that unfold in this story is something . It’s worth the read ! & Noah & Creed was so deserving !! Shantel you did so well With this story and bringing everything together. I live for the Interracial love story.
This story was all kinds of twisted. I even had to put it down to laugh a little. I love the fact that Troy and Scarlett grew old together but there were trials and tribulations. The family was all kinds of dysfunctional. Very few errors. I love Noah he was just the one heart went out to. Just read the book and let’s not forget about Maine I can understand she wanted her mother well so as Noah. Just read it guys I love it better than I
Creed understood everyone but was never truly understood herself. She carried people’s pain, adapted to their needs, but no one adapted to hers — not even Noah. I loved the focus on therapy and healing, but as someone who’s always been the “strong one,” I wanted to see someone finally love the whole her. The loud, the soft, the real Creed. She deserved that.
Great read. However Tempest did confuse me. I love when Shantel links her characters. This time I was lost bc the only tempest I know is from wicked games and she didn’t know her dad. So trying to figure out what book she’s from was mind field since her parents are Demarco and Nova. Figure she’s just an additional Tempest in the Davis universe
Some writers throw everything including the kitchen sink into their writing and they are flops. But Ms Davis kitchen sinks are masterpieces. Especially this one since it addressed the dysfunction of the first book. I love how Creed and Noah recognized some of their craziness and found healthy ways (sometimes) to deal with them.
This book has so many twists and turns It was really good it kept you going I enjoyed every bit of it I enjoyed all the characters in the book The sad I do sad and happy I recommend you read the 1st Step brother to get a Brother to get a idea who these people are but it's a very good read
I love Ms Davis books, but she really needs to employ an editor or, at the very least, proofread them before publishing them. I think we deserve to enjoy her book fully and not get detracted by spelling mistakes or incomplete sentences that don't make sense.
I could not stop reading, it kept me engaged from beginning to end and if I go indepth I will surely spoil it for future readers. Just know that Noah and Creed will not disappoint. Whew we. ☝🏾🔥🔥❤️👏🏾
This is one of my favorite books by this author. It was a lot of twists and turns but I enjoyed catching up on other characters and looking forward to other books that tie into this one.
This was a lot….everyone in this book was god awful. I think Noah was the only one I actually enjoyed. The constant mixing characters names was messy. I just did not like this book overall!
I love Creed and Noah so much, the entire family is so dysfunctional and mentally unstable but I’m not surprised only chaos found have stemmed out of Troy and Scarlett.
If you are looking for a page turner … this is it! All the morally grey themes that make dark romance intriguing with enough plot to make things interesting!
