Harlo's new boyfriend Dominic has started a new business doing party planning. The twins first birthday is soon and he is charged with doing the party.things are going along fine, until the candle maker is found dead in his truck! Now they all have to work hard to solve the murder before the twin's birthday. In true Ms ST James' style there is no shortage of suspects, twists, turns and top it all off with antics of the twins. The characters are wonderful, to say the least. Don't worry Needles, you are still a fav.

Deadly Flame by Jenna St. James is Book 29 in the Witch in the Woods series.

I can't believe this series is 29 books in and still so Fresh and unique!

The twins are turning 1 and a party is being planned by Dominic.

This mystery was so good, it really got me, I thought I knew who had done it, but the author tricked me again.

The characters are so fantastic, and I will forever love Needles, he's, my favorite.

Can't wait until the next book!

While I do still enjoy the series, I really wish we could get back to the Alex and Shayla team. I just don't enjoy Zoe as well in the investigations. Alex doesn't seem to do much more than finish up something that is underway and cook dinner when Shalya walks into the house. It's interesting to see the twins grow up and the group dynamics change up. The candles sounded pretty interesting - so creative.

Funny series!!

Cute!

It's time for the twins' first birthday party!! Serena and Grant have hired a party planner, Dominic, Harlow's boyfriend, to throw the event because they have their hands full of the little powerful werewitches! But when a body is found on his ice cream truck, Shayla, Zoie, and Needles investigate a slew of murders. But Alex and Grant need to help them solve this crime before the big party!!

Ms. St James has written another fascinating cozy mystery set in the paranormal world of Enchanted Island. All of the characters feel like friends now; and I always know that their will be an intriguing mystery to keep me turning the pages. Serena and Grant's twins steal the scene whenever they appear on the page. A fun and easy read.

Another fun story. Jenna St. James is definitely doing an amazing job with this series - 29 books in and this series is not at all stale. Always something new and fun. Those twins are really something else. And think self-building snowmen building their own army. A really enjoyable read.

Magical Candles!

A most fascinating crime. The people are old friends now and it is a joy to visit them in their town. A murder most awful by an unexpected perpetrator who gets their just punishment. The twins are something else and their party is magical.

I enjoy reading this book series, I do wanna know if she ever gonna have kids of her own, sure she loves her step daughter but it would be a shame for her not to carry on her dad and mom blood. With who her dad is I thought it would be nice for him to have grandkids too.

This was such a great book !!! Had me going until the end. The storyline was excellent and the back stories were really good. A lot of depth and action. The twins stole the show!!!
