Quinn Marlowe is a fan of red wine, cheesecake, perfect hash browns, and really good punk rock. She’s also obsessed with everything piratical—though she refuses to acknowledge any actual connection to pirates. She studied English and Film at UCLA and, when forced to choose a career, chose publishing rather than teaching or being a film maker. Quinn lives in San Diego with her husband, dogs, and far too many cats.

Her Romeo is Quinn’s first book, though she hopes it will be followed by many more.

Lila and her best friends are aspiring singers looking for their lucky break. When Lila discovers that her rockstar crush management team is looking for new talent, they hit the road. River is struggling with his past, which reflects his bad-boy attitude. His management team needs him to clean up his act and present Lila as his new girlfriend, not knowing they have met and there’s real attraction. Engaging read that end in the middle of their relationship.

Wow, just wow! This book was OK. There was not a whole lot to the characters. Lila was a goody goody… Rivers was a bad boy. It didn’t develop much from there. Had I known this ended in a cliffhanger I would’ve never started it. Unless stated in the beginning, I find that really irritating. Guess I will start the next book but if there doesn’t seem to be character development, I probably won’t finish it.
