a must read to every fantasy, family intrigue and world building lover

Very effective world-building, rather deep characters with very interesting personalities. The six different sublots never fail to amaze, with a tasteful dose of plot twists sprinkled in. Even though the start might seem a bit chaotic, the author more than makes up for it in the following chapters, giving a great description of the characters, both in physical and psychological terms. The settings come to life thanks to many little details, carefully placed throughout the narration. Another really great detail is the compendium of names, accompanied by a detailed pronunciation guide.
