Published 2024–Gothic play set in a small town in 1936. A blues musician is suspected of making a deal with the devil because of his skill with the guitar. His pull with a local young woman puts him at odds with the matriarch of her family. The family members at the center of this drama are observant Christians but also firmly believe in the power of the devil in their lives. Leaves us wondering what is real in the world of the play and what is in the imagination of one or the other of the characters.

Can we please stop with gay romance being a twist at the end I don’t care and it wasn’t that well done and I didn’t like this as a Robert Johnson retelling either —- why are we ignoring all the most interesting parts of that story for the boring ones? Well done with the creeping sense of dread though, I definitely felt it.
