From the trauma and regret of their past to their surprise emotion-filled reunion, Diesel and Nat’s story will grip your heart and twist in the best way.
I was shocked by this book and loved the atmosphere. It was fun to slither along the twists and turns in the dark with these characters! The story is raw and haunting and draws you into their old wounds and fresh scars.
I loved the Viper dynamic and how it brought mystery and intrigue. The relationship with Diesel brings an innate darkness to the main male character who certainly gives off touch her and die vibes.
I really enjoyed the relationship between the childhood best friends Tara and Nat and how their story is filled with forgiveness and support.
Daddy's Home is book 1 in the Limitless duet and my first read by this author. It's Nat and Diesels story and it's a dark, intense, slow burn read that had me holding my kindle in a death grip waiting to see what was coming next. Their story is anything but easy, simple or pretty. This couple goes through so much before they get their hea and it tore my heart out for them. Natalie just couldn't catch a break and neither could Diesel. I can't wait to see what this author brings next.
4 stars. This was so entertaining and fun! Spicy too. We follow our FMC Natalie and MMC Diesel. Diesel is fresh out of prison and will do anything to find Natalie again. They have had history when they were younger and I found their story pretty great. He would do anything for her and he’s very obsessive and protective over her. Please check trigger warnings but if dark romance is your thing I recommend.
I'll admit this isn't the sort of book that I would normally read, but it was quite interesting and rather easy to get lost in. Its a bit of an erotica-like romance about a Girl named Natalie and a bad boy lover named Diesel. The two are hopelessly in love but then one terrible incident with Nat's abusive father sets their lives spiraling downhill and it's up to the two protagonists to find their way back to each other or at least to some sense of normalcy and peace.
The stand-out element here is the plot and pacing which is constantly moving and constantly very challenging and life-like. I totally get where Natalie is coming from and why she's unsure of herself and her feelings toward Diesel. She starts dating a new dude named Leon who ends being a 'nice guy' and disaster nearly ensues. But her lack of confidence can repeal some readers, even though it is very realistic. I really liked Diesel's character the most. He's bossy, abrasive, and a bit of a badass. He's a bad boy in all the right ways and ends up being a pretty solid dude by the end of the story. I thought the addition of his split personality, called Viper, was a nice touch as well. The chemistry between the two love interests was well handled, though I wasn't the biggest fan of all the sex scenes I get that usually comes with the territory when you sign up for novels like this. The ending is heartful, and emotional but also hopeful as Nat and Diesel come to terms with the past and the understandable mistakes they made along the way. This is a very compelling couple. Kudos on your debut Graclyn Porter! You should be proud.
