Kari Trumbo is a writer of historical and contemporary Christian romance and romantic suspense. She's a mom to four wonderful children. When she isn't writing or editing, she loves to read, sing, and knit. Kari loves curling up with a fluffy blanket when winter hits. She makes her home in central Minnesota with her husband of over twenty years, two daughters, two sons, many cats and one sweet bunny.

Amazing series

I have enjoyed every offering from Kari Trumbo and this series is no exception. Her respectful but honest portrayal of such a sensitive topic like human trafficking is enlightening and frightening. There is a good balance of sharing the horror of the experience and the opportunity to heal once set free. Whether contemporary or historical, you won't go wrong reading any of her books.

Must read series

Oh my goodness! Where do I even start? This is absolutely one of the best series I've ever read. The characters, relationships, setting...it's all incredible, and it has the perfect balance of romance and suspense. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys good fiction.

Read the entire collection…full of suspense!

This entire collection is full of suspense, and a little romance to lighten the mood! Keeps you turning pages, and reading the next and next! Clean suspense! Very good!

Good

I like this series however I was annoyed by the constant use of the word " snorted". It's overly used and not what people actually do except rarely when someone is laughing hard.

I love this series! Damaged heroes and their second chance to make things right. In addition, the suspense and danger they face just draws you in deeper. Great book!

This series was amazing - loved reading these. Kari Trumbo discusses the terror of human trafficking with finesse, there is enough detail to have an inkling of the experience of those who have lived this horror, but not enough detail to give you nightmares as a reader. The hope of healing is beautiful. The romance in each book is delightful, clean, sweet (no blushing required). There is suspense, a stunning ranch setting, a found family and of course horses and dogs in the mix. There was just an office cat missing in the mix ;) excellent series, highly recommended.

What’s better than one Wayside Ranch book? All of them in one place. These are stories you will not want to put down and a collection makes it much easier to just keep on reading. There will be times when you might need tissues handy, if you have high blood pressure you might need to keep an eye on it, you will get romance, danger, evil, the best and worst of human nature, and more than a few twists and turns. I absolutely loved this series.

A Ranch to Heal

I chose this rating because I found the Wayside Ranch series of books completely absorbing. There is a wide range of interesting characters and quite enough interesting and dangerous situations concerning human trafficking to keep you turning the pages.
