For years I slept, dreaming of those deep blue eyes, that could pierce into my soul and have me wake in a sweat.
My normal desk job isn’t looking so bad now that the real world crumbles around me and a fantasy world is starting to uprise.
Magic exists. Powers exist. Soul mates are real. Pureck’s watch over everything we do. And a few, with powers beyond compare have a Shaddower, meant to be able to subdue them and bring balance.
The Militia wants to capture us and use our powers to harness their machines
Those who have unbelievably capabilities, but want to see the end of human existence are known as Grimmers
I am the resistance, a forbidden power the Militia and Grimmers want at their disposal, but the resistance just wants the hope that Denali will once again prosper.
Now my memories have returned after the witches position wears off, the woman I knew as mother held me hostage, trying to torture me for information.
I really wanted to love Ethereal Enchantments because it has so much potential. The world-building and plot ideas are intriguing, but the story sometimes feels overly chaotic, with too many things happening at once, making it hard to follow. Additionally, the writing style didn’t fully draw me in—it felt a bit clunky and lacked the flow or spark to keep me fully engaged. While it has its strengths, I found myself wishing for a smoother narrative and more focused storytelling to truly bring the magic to life. 3⭐️ 3🌶
This is book 3 of Rising From Ash Saga and the story just gets better and better!! So many twists and turns throughout.
Ava has truly flourished in this book. The men in the story continue to infuriate me but you also can't help but love them...
I am so looking forward to book 4 and highly recommend this to everyone, it has romance, fantasy, several love interests, a badass FMC, magic, Enchantments, other worlds and is just a great read from start to finish!
The cliffhanger kills me but I will patiently await book 4!
Bane and Kenai are now my favourite 🥰

I just have no words. I absolutely loved this book. It kept me intruged for so many reasons. This book definitely keeps you on your toes with and the twists and turns it was hard to predict anything and i loved that about this book. Not to mention the FMC love interests. I cant wait for the next book in the series as it just keeps getting better and better.
Book 3 in the series was another great book! You continue to root for (and hate) the characters in the book all the while you are left guessing what the true intentions are. I liked Ava’s character growth. She thinks her mind is made up about who to choose as her mate until more information is revealed that will change everything.
It did take me a bit to get into this one but I’m glad I read it! What I loved about the book were the smaller plots going on throughout the book while Ava and Aiden are the main focus for the book. I’m excited to see where the rest of the series goes!
Have you ever wondered what you would do or think if ever you found out some absolutely crazy mess about yourself? Like some gods and smoken hot creepy jerks with control issue? This series is relatable, because that is sooo going to happen. Ha
I went through the 5 stages of grief about 17 times while reading this. Enjoy 😂❤️
***I need to note that this review is being written literally as I read this book, and that it’s more of a full read along commentary instead of a proper, well thought out review.***
Right away I could tell that this book was different from the first two of the series, with a 3 way POV from the FMC and both MMCs the first 3 chapters. It’s still mostly Ava’s POV- but I do like that we get occasional chapters from both Aiden & Kieran’s POVs!
Initially, I’m still pissed at Aiden and firmly Team Kieran, but some of Aiden’s inner monologue is making more sense to me as to why he’s done the things he’s been doing.
The pack mentality thing is what confuses me though. Like you’ve been alive for how long and you knew Ava died & would come back for a third time, and yet you didn’t feel like idk, waiting for your soulmate and the supposed love of your life to resurrect????
I know that he’s not perfect and that he does truly love Ava, but I am absolutely holding out for Kieran in the end. They have a shared heart, and Casseopia fated it to happen. Aiden already had a life with her, she’s not the same Ava as she was in her second life.
I will say though, the weird little enemies to bromance that Aiden & Kieran have going on is making me giggle 🤭 like they both hate each other so bad, but ONLY because they both want Ava, otherwise they’d have zero issues with each other 🤣
I adore that Ava and Zaltheia were able to escape and have a girl moment at a bar 🤣 the tabletop dancing had me giggling! Poor girl needed to be around her friends and not locked up like she was #1 on the most wanted list- even though she like.. technically is lol.
Okay Denali Queen!! I know that the face was blurred but god damn I hope it’s Kieran, specifically because her eyes turned bright green after touching the throne and I feel like that solidified her future with Kieran more as he has green eyes and she said how at peace she felt in the Denali vision, and she always comments on how at ease and peaceful she feels with him.
OH OH- LAILA HELLO I FRICKIN KNEW IT!! Also what??? Victor’s tragic backstory is finally revealed and I have sympathy for the man, as psychotic as he is, but like damn pal it’s still not your sister’s fault for what your parents did?? Can we just get some sibling bonding to happen pls?? Ope okay nope, no we can’t right now, poor girl literally just met her family in this life and immediately it went to shit. 🙃🫠
DAMN IT AVA I THOUGHT WE HAD AN AGREEMENT HERE 😤😤😤 also the vision of the gates of hell?? Hello???? Pls no my heart can’t handle this.
“Shit think of something unattractive. My grandma.” PLEASE I AM IN TEARS 😂😂😂
Okay listen I’m not a fan of Isabel but also I feel bad for her & what ended up happening to her and her baby. I hope they let her at least hold her child before they took the baby away and killed Isabel. 😢
OH KIERAN DROPPED A BOMB OH BOY TEE HEE 🤭🤭🤭 omfg and Ava is confronting Aiden and he threatened Kieran’s life. AVA PLEEEASEE REDEMPTION IS A CHOICE- PICK KIERAN😤
Okay real talk, it’s actually insane to me that Ava is going through so much, and that both Kieran and Aiden know about the Denali throne, and that there is so much at stake because she is literally in the middle of a complete shit storm and is about to head a literal war- but the only thing people are getting on her about is picking a mate and magically everyone is pissed that she didn’t immediately fall head over heels and pick Aiden. It’s like there’s something bigger at play and she’s the only one not being let in on the joke.
Aiden has made it clear he doesn’t give a fuck about the war or any of the other issues, because he could walk away and live a happy life with the packs and the human world- but that it’s Ava that he wants and she’s tied into all of this, but he doesn’t care about everything else.
Kieran cares about the resistance and the war and everything, but he also would absolutely let her sacrifice herself to save everyone- which like in the long run of a war, yes you need a leader willing to die for the cause, but like goddamn.
There’s just so much shit going on and no one wants to sit and think “huh I wonder how this is affecting Ava?” And instead they all just ignore her, lock her up and block her out, and treat her like she’s some shiny toy that Aiden lost for a while. Ugh it pisses me off. And I still have 350 pages left!!!
Hi me again, umm what the actual shit??? Kieran & his dad with the plan?? What the hell??? Like logically I know it could be fine as it’s not uncommon but like ???? Omfg? I fear this will end badly….
ZALETHIA WHY BBY GIRL NOO!!! Why is everyone SO DUMB SOMETIMES UGH
also??? Isolde? Girl dropped a bomb like that like it was nothing wtf? Also Dillion hello?? Giving touch her and die villain vibes and tbh I’m kinda here for it??
Okay I absolutely adore that Ava now has two scary ass Huffnaglers as pets 🤣 I want them as my own guard babies bahaha
Okay I adore the dress that Dillion got her, and also lowkey I kinda like Dillion more than Aiden and Kieran at this point?? Who am I? 🫣
OH MY GOD WHAT IS HAPPENING??? Aiden???? Hello???? Oh Ava my sweet summer child, my heart breaks for you 🥲💔 Idgaf if he says he thought of you and was doing it for your future together- that man would be barbecued on the spot for pulling that shit!
Okay girl is going for the kill with getting some revenge (not sex but sex) and I genuinely am 100% here for Dillion now 🤣 Aiden can die in a hole. Kieran I am currently confused about- but Dillion…. Yes we like Dillion 🤭
Omfg he wants her to marry him and he even spoke about protecting their hypothetical children.. I’m not upset with this third option tbh… AND Dillion is a biker guy?? Be still my beating heart 🤭🤭🤭
Okay… Kieran… the vines & wind… Mother Nature has plans for Kieran & Ava, I’m not mad about it- I am still kinda hoping that Ava will either go with Dillion or Kieran, but I know she loves Kieran and should still pick him, though I’d feel bad for Dillion tbh. Aidan go F himself 🥰
Omg Denali 😍😍 we love to see our girl thriving like the Queen she is!
Oh I’ll kill Aiden. 100 times over. Also what the fuck is with his internal fire shit??? He’s up to something…
Back to Dillion, like I know the man is not a good guy, but again… I still love him??? Is Dillion the real enemies to lovers here??? (I’m delusional always & I stand by that delusion)
Okay please let me note i absolutely fucking LOVE Bane (& Kenai of course!) I love how much he hates Aiden- “what the hell is going on in your mind Bane?” “Dinner” 😂😂😂
Okay I know miss girl is doing what she needs to do, but I’m still not happy about it.
IMAGINE HAVING TO CONSUMMATE YOUR MARRIAGE IN FRONT OF YOUR STEP MOTHER LMAOOOOOO NOOO💀💀💀
Okay i cannot believe that Ava and Aiden ran off to have sex with an entire house full of people that could hear them- but I am literally cackling at Shamus and Finn blasting “I just had sex” by the lonely island 🤣🤣🤣
Oooooh!!!! Ava finally is channeling Kieran’s powers!!! And their bond isn’t broken!!! Ahh!!!
OH OH MY WHAT??? WHAT IS THAT ENDING?? Girl I’m not even MAD 😆😆😆 I’m kicking my feet and giggling that she got pulled back to Dillion 🤭
I will say I’m scared that Isolde mentioned the were-baby pregnancy thing and that they grow quickly, so I’m like lowkey terrified that she went back to Dillion but they never checked to see if she was pregnant or not after all the uh… crazy mating they did 💀
I NEED BOOK 4 IMMEDIATELY !!
I will say, I’m sad that we barely got to interact with Kieran in this book, but I’m desperately hoping that we will hear from him and interact more in the next book!

This rollercoaster ride!!! Oh my goodness! I can't get enough of this story. Ava is amazing, she's so strong and learning things about herself. She's not as silly as she was in past books and is gaining a dark side it seems.
One minute I love Aiden, the next I hate him, the next I love him and so on and so forth for the end of time! What is going on? The way things are revealed in this series, you never know what is going to happen, which is awesome and horrible at the same time!
I don't know what to think of Dillion. I feel like there is something that is going to happen with him. I can't say I'd be sad if she ends up with him but I'm just not sure what's going to happen with him. Where is his story going to go?
Poor Kieran. I feel for him, I'm not happy with how things are going for him but I'm holding out hope that there will be a happy ending at some point for him, whatever way that may be for him.
I love this series so much. I wanted to give it five stars but there were times it just seemed like it was all over the place. So many things going on at the same time. I had to reread parts thinking I missed something but then I didn't. I still am not sure what it was exactly that Sheamus was off doing. Some parts of the story seem to be rushed. I would love for the story to slow down a bit and go more in depth about what is happening. This won't stop me from continuing on with the series though because I have to see what happens with Ava, Aiden, Dillion and Kieran. I have to know who is Ava talking to at the end???

🌟🌟🌟🌟 Read Ethereal Enchantments by M.L.Barrie Third installment in Rising from Ash Saga
These books continue to keep me intrigued, though I will say this one was a little snow going for me in the beginning. The end of the second book left us on a MASSIVE cliffhanger and I was hoping to pick up exactly where it left off and keep the action going.
The last 15-20% of this book was a lot. My jaw was on the floor at some of the decisions made. The Betrayal 😲 honestly was not expecting that. IYKYK.
If you've read and enjoyed the first two you have to pick this one up. If you haven't, the first two are available on KindleUnlimited now!
Closed door modifications: Ch 17 Ch 27 Ch 39 Ch 40 ***Please note that some of these chapters are not full spice. I would recommend reading them until you get to the steamy bits, then skipping to when it's done and keep reading. Otherwise you will be missing some vital plot points!***
If you like: ✨Past lives ✨Fated mates ✨Werewolves ✨Love triangle

This book made me so incredibly angry, but at the same time I couldn’t put it down! For me it really took off and had my constant attention when Ava went to stay with Dillion. And damn I wasn’t expecting to love him so much! I am a SUCKER for an enemies to lovers arc and I’m really hoping that’s where this story is leading!
Aidan on the other hand🤢🤢 I have disliked him soooo much from the start! He was slowly starting to grow on me in this book, but ANY faith I had in him died when he cheated on Ava. It’s a no from me. And UGHH I know they’re mated but I absolutely hate Ava for giving this guy a second chance time and time again. Drives me crazy, and honestly made me so annoyed with her for half this book. I was so happy she dipped on him at the end!
I feel like we didn’t hear much about Kieran in this book, so we don’t realllllyy know what’s going on in his head, but I sorta hope he gets over it and wants to be her friend or just exits her life, because I don’t think I want Ava to end up with him either.
But who knows! Seems like my fav guy changes with each book so I guess I’ll have to (impatiently) wait for book 4!
Oh also this spice in this was🤌🏼🤌🏼 10/10

I'm utterly spellbound! 'Ethereal Enchantments' has left me breathless and yearning for more. M.L. Barrie's masterful storytelling has woven a tale that's equal parts captivating, suspenseful, and romantic.
From the opening pages, I was hooked. The world-building is exquisite, with a richly detailed landscape that's both magical and eerie. The characters are multidimensional and complex, with the FMC being a particularly strong and relatable protagonist.
The plot twists and turns with expert precision, keeping me on the edge of my seat as I tried to anticipate what would happen next. And those love interests? Swoon-worthy doesn't even begin to cover it!
I'm desperate to get my hands on the next installment in the series. If you're a fan of fantasy, romance, or just great storytelling in general, do yourself a favor and dive into 'Ethereal Enchantments'. Trust me, you won't regret it!
“If you were a poison, I’d still taste you and die a happy man.”
Ava is still coming into her lost memories, and fighting with the choice she knows she must make. Aiden is doing everything he can to protect Ava while winning her over. And Kieran wants Ava no matter the cost. With tension running high there are packs matters to be dealt with. And Ava’s new powers. Can she handle them?
I really enjoyed Book 3 over Book 2. I felt with all the backstory and information being thrown at you it slowed down the story. In Book 3 you get alot more action, banter, tension, betrayal etc. Seeing Aiden open up to Ava more made me so happy, I’ve been rooting for him! But this miscommunication of his he seems to carry, with a cover of him thinking he’s doing what’s best, K!LLS ME! And Dillion?!?! The Wild Card I was not expecting!!! 👀
I looked at the other reviews... so many of them have spoiler content. Yeah, I get it, it's so hard to review this without commenting on the last half of the book. But I will try my best.
Ava is still choosing Aiden. I felt outrage. He's the ultimate alphahole. He keeps her under lock and key for months. He's ridiculously controlling. He's not good for her at all. Yet despite the lies and betrayal and control she still chooses him!?!
Kieran says to her, "You are my air, and I’ll suffocate without you.” Swoon! He makes her feel safe yet she chooses Aiden. No. Just no. If only she could spend time with him, away from Aiden, cut off the mind link, she would see. She even gets gentle nudges from Mother Nature herself. Will she heed those words of warning? I don't know how much more of Aiden I can handle.
I'm enjoying the story. Let's see where Ava's journey takes her.
ML Barrie has done it again!! I never thought I could love/hate these characters any more than I already do! This story has come so far and there is so much more left to tell, I can feel it in my bones! At first I was trying to give Aiden the benefit of the doubt, but I can honestly say that I LOATHE him now and am team Kieran all the waaaaaay! His love for her is deep and true. This slow burn romance…I usually don’t prefer it, but with this couple, I’m looooovokg it!!!
I truly feel for Ava because she has so much riding on her decisions and life, but she’s proven herself to be a strong FMC and I’m here for it! Although, I have to say, some her decisions I didn’t like, but we’re not going to like every decision the characters make all the time, so i will live!
I am so ready to read the next book and see what is in store for us!!!

I absolutely loved this book! By far my favorite in the series. A lot of build up for the next book and what’s to come.. the love triangle continues and I am here for it but…
Does it turn into a love square? Because that 3rd person that comes in to potential play… I AM ABSOLUTELY HERE FOR. I’m a Dillon gal after this book, honestly he’s the only one who is always truthful about who he is and what he wants. Never tries to hide secrets from Ava and doesn’t leave her wandering about her worth.
Aidan 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ I thought I liked him in book 1 he was my person but I literally cannot stand that man, he is so wishywashy and secretive and always expects Ava to be okay with his shitty choices!
Anyway.. 5 star read I’m so excited for book 4🖤🖤

This was my favorite out of the series so far! At first it was a little slow, but within 100 pages it had me flying through them. Ava has turned into this even more amazing FMC, I actually think she is one of my favorites now. She is doing what she needs to do to make her life easier and happier. I am disliking Aidan more and more going through the series, he is selfish and only cares about what he needs/wants. I never thought I would like Dillion, but he is like the bad boy who hides that he really cares about her. I am rooting for him more than Kieran right now. There are so many twists and turns, so many times I was WAIT WHAT? That cliffhanger though!!! I want the next book now M.L. Barrie!!!
I spent the majority of this book so stinking made at Aidan… like so mad. His justifications for controlling Ava were just so hard to accept or even understand. But, I think that was part of the key to this book, starting to understand. Ethereal Enchantments spent even more time explaining to us the why. They why Ava was being “protected” so fiercely, they why Ava was given the power she was, and the why others have made choices they did. We saw more betrayals, both with ill intentions and with the best of intentions for those close to Ava. We continued to see relationships blossom and to see them crumble. I’m anxious for book 4… thanks to that cliff hanger… and also hoping for more answers. I don’t want it to end but I want to know how it plays out something bad.
I’m not going to spoil anything for future readers. However this is a different kind of story. It still has the fantasy but it’s mixed in with the real world. M.L. Barrie will make you laugh, cry and may cause you to want to throw the book at the wall. I can actually say that the build up is good and the characters you will love. The only negative thing I can say is that the endings get me everytime! Luckily for the future readers the series is almost finished and you don’t have to suffer like her ARC readers!!! 🤣
I like the book because it is simply entertainment and that’s what books are supposed to do. Barrie does just that! She doesn’t disappoint and I can’t wait to see what her next series will be.
This is an ARC review this is the 3rd book from the rising from ash saga series and starts at the ending from book 2. This book kept me wondering what going to happen and whats next in this one boom we got more romance and action but we also got betrayed. In this book we also got a new love interest which is one of my favourites so far and gives us someone knew to wonder what secrets they have. I like how this series is though a fantasy series still has element of the real world, which is refreshing in the genre. This book ends of a cliffhanger just like the previous two to set up for book 4.
Can’t wait for book 4, thank you M.L Barrie and her PR team for sending me an ARC. This is now available of kindle unlimited.
This book had me hooked, but whew, did Ava frustrate me!
We get more action, more secrets unfolding, and some high-stakes moments that kept me on edge. The world-building continues to expand in interesting ways, and there were some great reveals that made me question everything I thought I knew. But Ava and Aiden’s relationship? It had me yelling at my Kindle. I get the emotional turmoil, but some of her choices had me wanting to shake her.
That being said, the pacing was solid, and I loved seeing more of Denali! I also enjoyed more of Ava's spicy prowess we see in book 3. Despite my frustrations with some of Ava’s decisions, I’m still fully invested in this series and can’t wait for the next one!
This book! Where to start? It’s book 3 in an AWESOME series that I have had the honor of being an ARC reader for. You DEFINITELY go through the emotions in this book. My BIGGEST takeaway from this book is Aidan is INFURIATING!!!!!!! And NOT in a good way! The push/pull, secretive nature he continues to have is enough to give Ava even MORE whiplash. But we learn more about her and who she is in this book and it was awesome! Kieran is still my favorite, even IF he did do some “questionable” things in this book. And the ending?? I cannot WAIT for book 4!!!
I'd put this as a 3.5 star, but I will round it up to 4.
Book 3 of the Rising from Ash Saga, the story is full of twists and turns throughout. It keeps you on your toes! As with the other books, it does start off slow. It took a while to get into. I did feel like there were parts of the book missing in sections throughout the whole book. It did feel like it was rushed. Read the TRIGGER WARNINGS. Cheating is a no-go for me, I just can't. How Ava forgave him?! I will never know!! I did enjoy seeing Ava come on leaps and bounds, though! The men still annoy me! 🤦♀️😅I still love them!
If you like fantasy, badass FMC, magic, and romance, this is the book series for you!
here is the third part of the **** series. This is by far my favorite of the three! Ava is undoubtedly a MFC to whom we attach ourselves for her character and her courage. Like the first two, despite a slightly slow start, the story keeps us in suspense with its twists and turns! Aidan is becoming more and more hateful and my heart is forever with Kieran! If Ava doesn't end up with him, I'll happily take it!!! 😘😘😘 and this cliffhanger... I'm speechless!!! I want the sequel right now!!! please Moira Barry!!!

Nothing like a good roller coaster of a book ride! This 3rd book in the series was the twisties, windiest, most chaotic roller coaster, but oh was it a good one! Always love a book that infuriates me but I can't stop reading. I guess I like the torture of a complex story.
The thing that really drove me nuts was the complicated decisions she has to make involving the multiple love interests. I need to know who she ends up with and I need it ASAP. Can't wait to keep taking this journey through this series!
This is the 3rd installment in the series. I felt like my emotions were all over the place as I read this! And not always in a good way.
I was happy to see that Ava finally (maybe?) picked Aiden but then confused as to why yet another love interest came into the story. And the things that Aiden did “all in the name of love” was a total deal breaker for me. Just not okay IMO.
Kieran is totally turning into the villain which was predicted in the prophecy. Not liking where his character arc is going because I REALLY liked him in the first couple books.
Overall, the book was okay. I had high hopes but it kind of fell flat for me. The plot is just a little too chaotic for me. Almost like there’s SO MANY tropes and we’re trying to see which one sticks. Also, I kind of rolled my eyes when Shamus becomes a potential love interest. We didn’t need another one.
I do think the book could also have been a little condensed. There were a few scenes in here that I didn’t think were essential to keep the story moving.

Book 3 in the series…… oh my goodness!!!! This story has me biting my nails on the edge of my seat and furious as hell at the characters all at the same time. Who will she choose? And then when she does and he does ……. THAT!?!? Why? I wanted to scream, or throw up, or both. Uhg. So here I am now waiting on book 4. Because as typical, M R Barrie looooovvvvveeeeeesssssss to leave her readers on cliffhangers 😒 Great book, love the series and can’t wait for the next one!
ACR review! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ethereal Enchantments Rising From Ash Saga book 3 By M.L. Barrie
I'll tell you what... I thought I knew who I was leaning towards but now he can get lost for real. Miss Ava you should've never forgiven that man! I also didn't expect to start liking another The last part of the book had my jaw hanging! And then the stinking cliffhanger?! Gah!! Come on book 4!!
AVAILABLE NOW!
• Fated Mates • Family secrets • Love triangle • Past lives • Werewolves
I cannot say enough good things about this series and this may be my favorite of it yet. The author does a phenomenal job of world building, giving detail, and keeping the reader on their toes. I have been along for the ride since book one and have such a great love for these characters and am loving seeing their development! Such a good book!!
This series has been an absolute whirlwind! Between the world building, the prophecies, and love interests the FMC has so much going on I was hooked. I love the character development for FMC as she becomes more skilled with her powers. Highly recommend if someone is looking for a fantasy series different from the rest!
Like the other 2 before it, I found this one a little slow going too but as always does pick up in the later half of the book. I do find myself questioning the MFC's decisions especially when it comes to the men in her life. There are twists and turns that you do come to expect with this series and I do want to know where this is going so we will have to wait and see.
