Displaced: The Journal of Henry Watts

Rate this book
Henry is not extraordinary. He's not a star athlete and he hasn't won any awards. He's not even orphaned like so many heroes that came before but something amazing happens when Henry is pulled into the future where he finds a world filled with science and mystery. Lurking in the shadows is a nefarious, secret organization known as Nobel. Will Henry be able to save his friends and find his way home again or is he destined to remain displaced?

I don't typically read much science fiction or futuristic things, but I REALLY enjoyed this book. I had a few hunches and ended up being right about at least one thing. I felt like I was experiencing everything through Henry's eyes. I don't actually know how authors can create worlds with cool yet-to-be-invented technology (wondered that as a kid with the Jetsons and Star Trek as well), but Mr. Glass does a great job with this type of world building. There is also a lot of action and cool stuff happening along with a satisfying ending which leaves me wondering when the sequel will hit. Come on...Book 2 is on its way, right?!?

Amazing book!! The story captured my attention really fast. I loved the details and excitement of what was happening in the story. The end of the book left me wanting more of this series and more books from this author. I love that it is so perfect for all readers. What an amazing read. I can’t wait for more!!

Okay so this is written by my son, but still I find it fascinating and as close to a time travel journey that I can believe in as any I have read so far. The interplay between the main characters is charming and the mystery compelling.
