When Will wakes up in the back of the van – in agony and struggling for breath; his limbs cable-tied – it takes him a moment to remember the girl in the supermarket.
For weeks, he had been trying to find survivors. And she had been at the middle of the dog food aisle. Just standing there.
Smirking at him. Before she lifted what she was holding. Fired, before he could so much as finish a sentence.
He has no idea who she is, what she wants with him or where he is now being taken. And as for Chloe and Daniel, he can only pray that they have not been ambushed, too.
No, only one thing is for certain. That in this desolate world, he and Chloe are not as alone as they thought . . .
Episode five in The A-Virus Series – short reads that weave a thrilling, post-apocalyptic tale!

There is a house (like the Green Dome) which he is not to go into, period. He meets a lot of the other 'guests' (prisoners) who mostly seem to be rather happy (like the people in the Village.)
Chloe and Daniel join him.
One of the people there is planning to do something and wants Chris to help (again, similar to an event or two in the series).
There are a lot of questions remaining unanswered, though, one of them being will he, Chloe and Daniel want to try to escape and how in the world would they pull that off without someone from the Village following them (like the car followed #6 in his car at the beginning of each episode.
Like the rest of the A-virus series is short and sweet. In this episode, Will, Chloe, Daniel and Chip are sort of abducted into a dangerous collective in which breaking the rules can result in public execution. As this is the last installment available as of today, I'm not going to pontificate on th direction the great story will go from here, but its going to take far more cunning and violence than ever to escape the camp. 5/5 stars. Waiting for the next installment will be a long one. Highly recommended!
This was probably my favourite of the series yet, I enjoyed the built up suspense and the new characters. The ending was really well done and I think the final installment will be great.
