“I was always the nice girl. The kind woman. But, for once this Christmas, I wanted to be a little naughty.”When my fiancé dumps me right before Christmas, I'm left with nothing but a broken heart and an engagement ring I'd love to bury under fifty feet of snow.
But just as I'm left out in the cold with nowhere to celebrate the holiday, I'm rescued by the last person I'd Nicholas, my ex’s impossibly handsome, impossibly charming father.
With the holiday spirit in the air (and way too much mulled wine in my system), I find myself making some extremely questionable decisions. Drawn into a torrid affair I never thought possible, one thing quickly becomes clear.
It’s harder to resist your ex’s father than you’d think.
**** Naughty or Nice is a spicy holiday novella suitable for readers over the age of eighteen only. Please check the content warning at the beginning of the book before reading. ***
Sienne has a thing for dark and brooding alphas and the diverse women who love them. She enjoys writing stories where lines are blurred and the romance is dark and delicious. In her spare time, she unwinds with a nice glass of wine and Netflix binge.

I’ve been waiting for Sienne Vega's Christmas Novella to be released, and it’s finally here! “Naughty or Nice” is well worth the wait. December Eve is starting great. Yes, I’m calling it December Eve. The story was everything I could have wanted: age gap, ex-boyfriend’s father who is 54 years old and has a beard, his name is Nicholas, and he looks like a “fine ass Santa” without the belly. Yes, this is the kind of Christmas theme novella story I love, AND the steam was amazing.
Author Sienne Vega knows how to write steamy scenes, and though this was a novella, the plot is not sacrificed—it was a shmutty plot, but there is one. Kendall’s fiancée, Nate, breaks up with her after he unloads some unfortunate information, which happens while they visit Nate’s father, Nicholas, for Christmas. Kendall wasn’t going to tolerate any of that or any of Nate. St. Nick comes to the rescue to make everything better, and Kendall realizes she’s been with the wrong man all this time. What a great read, and I’m sure I’ll reread it!
Eartha Kitt is on the holiday playlist. That's it, that's the review.
This was so much fun! I'm a messy b¡tch so I'm a sucker for ex's dad or best friend's dad, or even Dad's best friend. It's chaos and I love it! Here it's no exception. Personally I think she should have let them fight more but again, messy.
I know Sienne Vega as a dark romance author so having something so fluffy and cuddly for the holidays was a little surprising. What was not surprising was the fact that the smut was kinky. It was super hot. I'm a little bummed there was only one smut scene (one and a half if you count the bar) but the book is short and the scene was lengthy so I'm letting it slide.
I also want to shout out the fact that this book had fully developed characters who had full and complete arcs, wonderful side characters, a perfectly hateable villain, and a super sweetie daddy. What? Nicholas is a daddy, figuratively and literally. And it kept it under 200 pages? This is how you do a holiday novella mama!
I don't really have anything to complain about other than the fact that it did get a little schmoopy for me towards the end but that's because I have issues and trauma that makes me fun. If you're looking for something fun and kinky for the holidays or short to meet your reading goal, I think this fits the bill. I wish it was a little smuttier and a little morally gray but I had fun so four stars. Also Eartha Kitt was the best Catwoman and that is the hill I will die on.
That left an opening for St. Nick to come right on in. Nicholas thought he would never be attracted to another woman after the death of his late wife. But, his son brought hone Kendall and it was an instant attraction for him but he respected his son's choice and was proud of the type of woman he chose. He was disappointed when his son broke Kendall's heart. He didn't deserve a woman like her if that was how he would treat her. It was just fate that night that lined up Kendall and Nicholas and they just knew they had a special chemistry. Even though Kendall had a hard time justifying their relationship, she didn't want to be the reason that destroyed his relationships with his family. For the first time since his wife Laura died, Nicholas was determined to make it work out. He felt alive for the first time in years and Kendall finally had a man in her life that was an unselfish lover.
This story kind of triggered me because of the subject matter. The name calling by St. Nick is one of my triggers. I don't know what I was expecting but the author wrote hawt and erotic love scenes. Poor Nate FAFO'd what St. Nick was capable of and permanently lost his ex-fiance.
I just finished Naughty and Nice by Sienne Vega and I enjoyed this novella. We meet Kendall who is a flight attendant and she is spending the holiday with her fiancee Nate in Nate's hometown. Then Nate drops a bombshell on Kendall which leaves her heartbroken. Nate's dad Nick steps in and helps Kendall and from there that's where the story starts to get interesting and juicy. This book had me in my feels along with all the other feelings I was feeling for the other characters. The "sexy times" were very spicy and I loved every minute of it. If readers are looking for something short and spicy then I recommend this book for them to read. Sienne Vega didn't disappoint with this one.
Enjoyed the taboo aspect of the books. Yes—phuck his dad when he got you phucked up— but for some reason I wanted more. I know I know I’m greedy. I also would’ve want more descriptions of the characters. All we got is brown skin for the FMC and lumberjack built with hazel eyes for the MMC. Um we could do better than that. The ambiguous writing is a turn off. We already know it’s an IR book——baby DESCRIBE THE CHARACTERS PLEASE. Thanks Overall, short and cute. The way everyone got on board with the unorthodox relationship was cute
This was honestly just perfect! It was short and hot and hit all the right marks. I love a good forbidden romance. What’s more forbidden than getting with your ex’s dad 😮💨😮💨😮💨!! Kendall and Nick were hot hot hot!! Enjoy this romance between a lumberjack Santa and a woman who’s being a little naughty.
Sienne does it again! The spicy novella was absolutely naughty and the perfect mix of holiday and taboo. I absolutely loved Nicholas, the hot lumberjack. Kendall was so sweet and it was amazing to see her tap into her naughty side and to go after what she not only wanted, but what she deserved such a great holiday read.
1.5/2 stars • i almost dnf-ed this 😭 it was so over the top cringey! i couldn’t handle the mmc referring to himself in the third person, and i also felt like the dialogue was so childish in a sense? the idea/plot was good, but it wasn’t the best execution. maybe it would’ve been better if it were a full length novel?
Naughty or Nice was definitely a spicy quick read. I had to put the book down a few times cause Kendall and Nicholas brought the heat. I enjoyed reading this holiday read and Nate got what he deserved.
I loved that the FMC was in her mid-late 30’s and the MMC was 54. Since it’s a novella, the insta-love is kinda mandatory, so that didn’t bother me. I really think I would’ve loved this one if not for two situations during the 🌶️ scenes. There couple of kinks that don’t vibe well with me.

Oh my, St Nick was naughty and very nice to Kendall. So happy Nicholas found love again, the age gap didn’t deter them from finding true love. Scrooge Nate got what he deserved absolutely nothing. Sex scenes were 🥵🥵
This was a nice, short and sexy read. I’ve always enjoy reading older male/younger female tropes and even though Kendall and Nick’s getting together was unorthodox ( she was dumped by his son, Nate), I believed in their chemistry. It never felt forced.
3.5 The entire plot is WILDDDDD and the happy ending feels even wilder! What an intense connection between Nicholas and Kendall though.... they def matched each other’s freak.
Seriously spicy and naughty and a bit taboo. I LOVED it! 5 flames hot-I felt that chemistry when she walked in the door and met Nick! I wish I could spend my Christmas having this kind of fun.
The spice is there but if you need a plot for it. Well this book lost the plot and the writing? It’s just well… weird. Good for just trying to meet your reading goal.
I dont know about other people, but I was here for all of the shenanigans with Nick and Kendall. Sienne Vega always comes through with the spicy and the funny.
