Day of Wrath

Rate this book
The near-future. Ireland is a world stage, hosting a prestigious Muslim Leaders' Conference. The delegates are hand-picked - but they are not to know that. Security is tight - but alas, not tight enough.

I've had this book for absolutely ages and read it several times. This is a good story, mixing Irish and Muslim terrorists groups. Declan is the policeman trying to stop them, but when they murder his daughter and frame him for conspiracy, he finds that the dirty deeds go further up the chain of command than he thought. A tense, disturbing and sometimes really sad tale, but well worth the read. The short chapters mean that you gallop through it before you know it.

Daniel Easterman has written an incredible set of thrillers tied into religious themes and thinking. And they are fun. This sets that odd combination of Northern Ireland's civil war and Islamic terrorists. It is a wild and imaginative narrative that reads more chilling over time.

Vrlo napeta i uzbudljiva radnja puna preokreta i akcije.

One of the most forgettable books I have read. Have I read it? hmm, yes, but within a week was forgetting it. Too many books and not enough time, I will be looking elsewhere than Daniel Easterman.
