Ella huyendo de su pasado. Él escondiéndose del suyo.
Un cowboy. Una veterinaria. Un rancho.
Está historia podría haberlo tenido todo, podría haberse convertido en otro romance como “Safe heaven” pero con sombreros y espuelas, y al final, me ha faltado algo o más bien todo (química, ritmo, desarrollo, situaciones cómicas, acercamientos….). Y definitivamente, el lenguaje no ha ayudado.
No obstante, como no sé dejar las cosas a medias, comprobaré si el hermano es capaz de seducirme.

This story could have had it all, it could have turned into another romance like ‘Safe heaven’ but with cowboy hats and spurs, and in the end, it lacked something or rather everything (chemistry, rhythm, development, comic situations, approaches ....). And the language definitely didn't help.
However, as I don't know how to leave things halfway, I'll have to give the brother a chance to see if he can seduce me.

No he sido capaz de conectar ni con la historia ni con los personajes. Me ha dado pereza absolutamente todo, tanto la trama como el lenguaje. Tiene todo lo necesario para ser una historia interesante y bien llevada y sin embargo se queda en algo soso, plano y sin ninguna emoción, porque sabes escena por escena lo que va a pasar

non malissimo in generale, la storia non è un'innovazione ma neanche da buttare via, diciamo che sembra la trama di un cinepanettone (ma alla fine, uno lo legge anche per quello). il libro scorre ed è apprezzabile, almeno per me, il fatto che non si mettano insieme nell'ultima pagina dell'ultimo capitolo, ma mantengano un minimo di costruzione di storia.
non apprezzabilissima è la traduzione, con diversi errore (facilmente però riconducibili all'effettivo modo di dire italiano), e la rapidità con cui tutto avviene.
molte situazioni che avrebbero potuto prendere una maggiore fetta di narrazione, sono risolte in poche pagine, senza un risvolto psicologico accuratissimo.

La parte in cui l'ex di lei torna per creare problemi, è estinta in un capitolo, senza risvolti sui personaggi. in più, ma questo è un mio parere, a me sarebbe piaciuto vedere Ethan superiore, non violento. però è un'opinione, non ha a che fare con la scrittura.

nel complesso non male, lettura leggera che se fatta in compagnia e commentata diventa un'esperienza divertente.

la veterinaria di città e il cowboy
storia di una cittadina in fuga e del cowboy del montana, che non può non essere affascinante (yellowstone ce lo ha fatto vedere.........), che nel complesso è carine; nella prima parte la struttura narrativa dei capitoli a pov alternati riprende la parte precedente del pov , poi si allineano
tutto sommato in poco più di duecento pagine è una lettura di quelle senza impegno peccato per numerosissimi errori di traduzione, concordanze, virgolette aperte e lasciate lì e chi più ne ha più ne metta.........ma perchè insistere con il traslate????
