Ten years ago, teenagers Shauna and Eli Eaton disappeared. They were never found. That’s about to change.
On her way home from Hemlock Cove, Stormy Morgan finds two teenagers in the middle of the road. They can’t possibly be the same teenagers, though. Can they? Turns out they are, but they haven’t aged a day.
Nobody understands how the teenagers are back. The teenagers don’t know where they’ve been. To them, no time has passed. The last thing they remember is that they were supposed to have summer visitation with their father. What happened after that, though?
Stormy is on the hunt for answers. She wants to help two traumatized children. First, she has to find their parents…and what a story they have to tell. It was one they didn’t think anybody would believe. Now, there’s no choice.
Shadow Hills is the sort of place where magic comes alive. Sometimes the magic isn’t of the nice variety.
Stormy is determined to solve an old case. What if that means a whole new pile of problems, however?
Things are about to get out of control in Shadow Hills. Will anybody survive to see the other side?

When I was a kid, I was torn between whether or not I was going to grow up and be the Incredible Hulk or Wonder Woman. I flirted with being a Jedi Knight for awhile, but I wasn't up for the intense travel associated with the gig. In my teens, I settled on being a writer -- although I had no idea the effort that would entail.
Not only am I a writer now, but I'm a writer in several different mediums. I'm a longtime newspaper reporter, an avid reader and a voracious science fiction fanatic.

Whimp for a main character

Look, I love the world she's built with all these series, and most of the main characters are hilarious and powerful women. I love the snark and sarcasm. Stormie Morris needs to get over the "woe-is-me, I'm scared of my shadow, I'm going to spend the entire book whining about my mistakes and refusing logical help even to the detriment of my family" trope. If I could get away from not reading this series from the world anymore and not miss SO MUCH from the Winchester's and spells angels world I would. ALMOST as bad as the whiner main character from the moonstone bay series

Drama llama

Okay I hate to be whiny, but Stormy needs to suck it up and get over herself already. How many times do we have to rehash the Monica Hunter breakup guilt? And we are 11 books in, she isn't writing, is barely using her magic, and basically is the mopey mood killer of the witch crew. She needs to take some anti depression meds and become a real hellcat instead of a house cat.

I enjoyed the read. Lots of foreshadowing in what’s to come with the series. Amanda does a great job at building suspense

Okay, if it wasn't for the world of Shadow Hills that this author has built I probably would have left this series a long time ago. Stormy is no closer in Book 11 than she was in Book 1 to advancing in her powers and the whole woe is me, I'm just a screw up so let me run to the Winchester's for help thing is really getting old. Actually it was old 3 books ago. The fact that Hunter puts up with her proves how much of a fictional character he is. Because a real man, even one that is half as level headed and put together as his character is, wouldn't be with an immature person like Stormy. I think this may be the last one I read of the Two Broomsticks series honestly. The plot of this one was actually better than several of the last ones but I feel like the author is getting in way over her head with the whole elementals and minor gods and such. Though, it would be a cool angle if it's all done correctly. Maybe I'll dip into some of her other books that focus more on the goings on in Hemlock Cove for a while.

Another hit!!!

With all of Amanda M Lee’s books I could not put it down. I am not someone to ruin a book for others by giving you any details. I thing that is just rude. I will tell you that it isa great read with a lot of snark and sarcasm a little laughter. It a book you won’t want to put down if you like Amanda’s writing style and flare, you will love this book. If you don’t know about Amanda M Lee yet I really suggest you check her out she is a great writer with an unique skill of blending snark, sweetness, touching moments, and wicked monsters that brings a story to life and makes you fall in love with the main characters as well as the supporting characters. If you don’t believe me, read it for yourself.

What a fun wild ride

Love this series and all the characters from the geographical area that team up together. I suggest reading the Wicked Witches of the Midwest in chronological order and published date with this series and Spelled Angels series by publication date so you see the character development and how the characters from each series met. Back to this story. It was a fun wild ride with twist and turns. In the beginning I thought the story was headed one way but it changed directions. It was so much fun to read. Go Aquarius and I have a Gemini mother so I can 100% say there are 2 sides to her. Cannot wait for the next books in all 3 series mentioned above.

Fast paced

Oddly, while I love that Stormy's lazy about practicing, her insecurity is beginning to be annoying.
I also wish Lee would wrap up loose ends, like Mrs. Parker's murder (and muses). I wish when she includes specific dates like the equinox, she'd at least mention dates that would not be ignored in the over all culture, like St. Patrick's day. Now that we know Landon is an Aries, will the Winchesters ever celebrate his birthday? Will Gunner get any more baking lessons? Will we ever encounter any other zodiac elementals (in any series set in this world?
I know it's a lot to keep track of, but I think the world building is worth it. (Will we see Charlie again?)

Another great book in this series!! I love the cross over friends from the different series characters by this Author coming in and helping and sharing their knowledge with each other. I was surprised by the twist in this story. The interaction between the characters are so amusing and especially with so many characters visiting this series. There is a big fight brewing and I can't wait to see how it plays out. I highly recommend this and the other series by this Author. I anxiously await her new releases.

Another Good Series

Amanda M. Lee is an enjoyable and prolific author. Her characterization is good, plots are tight, and the prose is light, funny, and enjoyable overall. This only potential downside to reading her series is you need to read multiple series concurrently to get the whole story. If you are a fast reader with time this is not a major concern. If you can only find the time to knock out a book a month, she is probably not you best bet. However, I enjoy her stuff as one of my favorite KU authors.

The Action Kind of Ramped Up

I must admit...parts of this one got really confusing. I know the Two Broomsticks series crosses over with other series...some of which I've read in part. The mention and/or appearance of some of these other characters presented one area of confusion.

Another surrounded the whole zodiac/elemental/demon situation...with a couple of other paranormals thrown in fun.
The action was good. I felt like I was overloaded with information/explanation, though.

power and intrigue.

Stormy is trying to be diligent in practicing her magic when life throws and beatable in her way. Two to be more specifics. When siblings who have been missing for 10 years show up, Stormy’s world starts tilting sideways. To make things worse Tillie tries to take on the enemy but doesn’t have the ability to take them on.

Even if Stormy brings in Bay and Scout will she be able to stand up to the powers who have come to her home town?

Great fun

I like that characters from other books joined into this one. Makes for some fun writing. I see we’re coming to the end of the series. I will miss it. I do look forward to what may come next. I really enjoy Amanda Lee’s riding. I feel a pinch sad when a book ends, but so much excitement anticipating when the next one will come out. If you have not read this series, read it highly recommend it.

Great mix of Stormy, Bay & Scout

I like how these books are generally the whole group now and Stormy is coming into her own so she is an equal partner. Can’t wait to see where this goes next. I could use less of the recriminations about the time Stormy was gone. Shouldn’t be read stand alone - start at least at the beginning of this series.

4.75 For now the series is over but the way it ended you know there has to be more than just one book left. The storyline of this one wasn’t my favorite but I laughed a lot so that is always a good thing. The banter between Stormy and Hunter is sweet but at the same time I’m kind of over it. I can’t wait to hear the next book.

Good read

Book 11 mostly centers around Smokey and Hunter, but includes Bay and Landon, Scout and Gunner, Easton, Evan, and a little of Aunt Tillie. Other paranormals show up to cause chaos and mayhem, but no murders, just loads of mystery and magic. Highly entertaining.

I love Stormy and Her Cohorts

I love how these books bring together Stormy, Scout, and the Winchester witches. Stormy is developing her powers and learning how to wield them while Tillie and her sidekicks provide comic relief as everyone works together to fight the Gemini twins.

A very interesting read. Stormy is really coming into her powers now even if she doesn't quite understand them. The group that worked together to solve the problem was unexpected and did not include Aunt Tillie, who is still a hoot. I'm excited to see where the story goes from here.

Fun book

I'm glad stormy is starting to get used to her powers. It's always interesting when the group gets together. The pot lines came together well with a satisfying ending. When's the next book?

And here I thought this would be Vampiric

Don't let the title mislead you. This is a new and different take on these cozy mysteries. I love the integration of her different characters, which really adds to the storylines.

Stormy

Very incremental steps forward . I still have no idea what Stormys end fight will be . Unless its the same War as Scouts ? Is Storms fight something else and then continues on like Bay ? Looking forward to the next fascinating book.

Great story!

I love Ms. Lee's stories! Out of all the different books I read she is my favorite author. She has a fun sense of humor that she writes interesting mysteries around. You won't be sorry to buy any of her books.

always fresh

And so layered. How could a brother and sister who disappeared years ago return years later looking just the same? Why, when the parents were tracked down, were they so afraid? The answers are bizarre and fascinating.

I enjoyed the story and meeting the Winchesters and the Angels here as well. This is my least favourite series on the top of my list, mostly because Stormy always comes across as a bit timid and I enjoy bolder characters more. But it’s still on the top of my list. 5 stars.

Monsters?

This book was a little weird and a touch harder to follow, but I still loved the series and hoping the next book is a little better.

Wow!

Things are getting heated with Stormy and the gang. Adding in Zodiac elementals was a curve I haven’t seen before. All in all a great read.
