Colin is not only a talented photographer but quite a skilled and articulate writer as well, the short essays placed between the photographs are engaging, vivid and well written. This is probably the best little window into the inner workings of the band that we’ll ever get. It’s not sensational, not too cerebral. Like moments in time. They feel intimate, yet at the same time are compelling and have artistic form. I mean duh.

I bought this some time ago and hadn’t had time to really look at it until this weekend. I think my favorite photos were the later touring photos in monochrome, from their (most recent, not final) tour.

I hope the band gives us more music in the future, but little gems like this in the interim make the wait worth it.
