Ok, so we are at book 90. While I appreciated Brandon picking the teens' heads for ideas with his project. The entire step by step has made my head hurt. Whatever point we were supposed to take away went over my head. It took away from the storyline and probably proved whatever point the writer and Brandon were trying to make 🤦🏾♀️.
EOD, it's not why we are here. We are here for the fantasy you are selling. The 3-book wrap ups and HEA's! Not the recipe for a social media platform (Annani) wink 😉 wink!!
Two books 392 pages later, Brandon is still disheartened with Hollywood. Making zero headway with his project. For every step forward with Morelle, they seem to take 3 steps back. They had a better relationship when she was in a darn coma!
Alas! Ell-rom's secret is out, and the princess has yet another magic trick up her sleeve, which leads one to wonder 🤔, could our quiet little time bomb of a brother be hiding something else??
I don't trust Drova as far as I can throw her, BUT I think the Twins will be the remedy to that lil problem.
I ❤️ that Morelle kind of has an affinity towards the babies and who they will be and gave a blessing 🙌🏾 to Darius.

The book is good. I liked how it's covering some of the other characters stories and excited to read what will happen with Rob. Only took one star away because I'm getting tired of the twins' story and how slow that one progresses.

I.T. Lucas has done it again!
I started this series not knowing it would take me to a heavenly place in my imagination of what the future holds for the immortals and all mankind. I still can not get enough, waiting for the next book wondering if Kianne will be found, will the grandfather find them all alive a d well or will they be successful in hiding. Will the doomers find them and attack them? Will the twins' powers come to light fully and save the day? These are questions yet to be answered. Keep them coming I.T Lucas.

Dark Princes does what?
I have so many feelings about Morelle - will she be an ally or a strong opponent to the Gods? Will she stop Ell-rom’s relationship with Jasmine, or get on board. Will she be a powerhouse that rivals Annani? And I think this book answers some of those questions. The one thing that is certain is that previously self-indulgent guy Brandon of the Hollywood producer fame has suddenly become Good Guy Brandon. And it’s really looking good on him. So he’s not perfect - it’s hard to rejoin after Hollywood I would imagine, but he’s sincerely trying. And the fated mate gift of the Fates is obviously showing her hand. It’s a nice story to watch evolve.
But the thing to watch with these two is their completely different world-views, as it were. Brandon has been trying to push the Gods ideals of equality and enlightenment while Morelle has been hidden away in a temple under a shroud trying to do anything to NOT be noticed. It’ll be tricky for sure for her to find her footing, and hopefully she’ll swing to the Gods ideals.
Finding Morelle’s natural talent or ability was a nice surprise throughout the book. It’s an odd one for sure, definitely didn’t see it coming. And not exactly sure where it’ headed - and isn’t that exciting.
Peter and Marina are still headed to the altar, but I can’t help feeling that something is going to throw them off track. This would be the first storyline where it’s not fated mates. Heck, Marina isn’t even immortal. Looking forward to see how this all unwinds.
Lots of new insight to the ongoing war of the Gods versus the Doomers, and I think that storyline is fixing to heat up. As always, as soon as I finish one book I’m ready to dive into the next!

Brandon is officially annoying
I’ve never understood how she could or would write these centuries old males with such immaturity or even insecurities. I mean, both of these come from a lack of something and are things these males certainly shouldn’t lack having lived for so long and having have interacted and associated with so many beings, including their own kind, across several centuries, cultures, etc. They’ve had to pretend to be teenagers or even young adults for a lot longer than one would actually live it, yet they didn’t learn anything? And then Brandon really has zero excuses, living in Hollywood circles because they see EVERYTHING! Real life scandals, immature behavior, entitled brats, affairs, real love matches, fake ones,etc. So you would definitely think he would have examined these relationships and situations after all these years…. But nope.
Brandon begins acting like a little bee and someone whose maybe 17-18, I can’t remember since it’s been so long since their ages were discussed, behaved more maturely than him, has excellent reasoning and logic than him and can barely even grasp certain regional idioms right now. She has no experience but is behaving way better than this centuries old male.

I love this whore series! Last Year July 13, 2024 I was getting ready for our Ultimate World Cruise: 9 months, 7 continents, 11 wonders of the world, hundreds of ports. I love to read. I got kindle unlimited because I couldn't take many physical books with me.
To my surprise I came upon this series at the moment it had 73 books and it was included to read free with my new kindle. Book 1 was just the beginning, it puts your imagination to work. It's amazing how well written they all are, easy to understand English is not my first language. I assumed it was going to last for 9 months but I finished them within the first 6 months. I just finished book 90. It's amazing how many new characters have been added and they keep coming up to help you remember the whole saga.
Give yourself the gift of a good read.

Morelle and Brandon
It's great to see the relationship between Morelle and Brandon develop. Both have very strong personalities and it is interesting to see how they manage. There is a lot more to Morelle than what people thought and her gifts start to show in this book.
There are a few side stories in this book. First we have Jasmine who wakes up from her transition. We have the growing relationship between Rob and Gertrude and his pending transition. We have Peter and Marina and their pending wedding and Drova gets a chance to make amends. Overall, it was a really fast paced book and I can't wait for the next one.

HARD TO PUT DOWN
Ms. Lucas has written incredible Children of the Gods stories and Morelle's story builds to an ending where I just said "Noooo, I need answers!". Once you start, it truly is hard to put down. Thank you I. T. Lucas, for the wonderful connection you receive and understanding of Annani's family more, while learning the different Immortal personalities. I was hoping the wedding of Marina and Peter would have been in this edition. Guess I am patiently waiting for the next book!

The gift that keeps giving
This series has kept me coming back for more through 90 books. The world Ms. Lucas has created is realistic and believable. The characters have such depth that I feel like I know them well. I'm so glad the books are published close together so I don't forget details of the previous one. Lots of suspense and great love stories. A great blend of sci fi, romance, and mystery.

While Morrell is learning about this new world and her power is being tested by Amanda to understand its capabilities. Then during it all she discovers a new power. Will it benefit the clan or destroy it? Then there is Sissy vision, is it Jasmine or Jasmine’s mother? And what could it mean for finding Khiann? What is going to happen next?

Morelle Is Wonderfully Written
Dark Princess Emerging is book 90 of I.T. Lucas' The Children of the Gods series. With this book we get to know Morelle better. As she starts to find herself more, we get a feel for how wonderfully her character is written. It's like experiencing her life as she does. The next book in the series will reveal more about who Morelle is to become and how she will fit into the clan.

I am very intrigued with where the author has decided to go with the story! I'm hopeful that She is going to connect all of the threads, and bring everyone together in the Clan. loved it! another perfect read
Loved seeing Morelle starting to recover and fall in love. Seeing how different the twins are reminds me of my fraternal twins- night and day personalities-same as Ellerom and Morelle. Loved it. I really enjoy seeing all the other characters throughout the books.

As the Clan continues to expand and develop outwards the need for clandestine and secrets continues to grow. The Princess has emerged and is starting to learn of her being and what is involved. Both the physical and mental as well maintaining her spiritual development are all playing into future events.

I love Morelle’s story and power she holds. What I’m not a fan of is the love connection with Brandon. I don’t see the chemistry between the two at all. I also don’t find Brandon’s storyline that interesting. I’m currently reading book 91 so I’m hoping this will change soon.
I’m not sure how far this series will last but I CANNOT wait to see the babies become young adults!!

I was actually quite happy with this book for #90. I like where some of the plotlines are going. I hope Brandon doesn't become any overly controlling jerk and I hope that Gertrude doesn't get disappointed again.

Again, I love this series. The only problem I have is waiting for the next book. Being able to read the first three chapters of the next book helps but it is still frustrating. Good thing the stories are so fantastic. Thank you .

Love this series
Finished the 90th.book,again I enjoyed it immensely. Fantastic writing. I.T. Lucas has an incredible imagination. Reading these books are never boring. Can't wait until book 91 comes out.
