As always I'm loving what you're giving us CJ! Your balance of darkness and desire in TFU is what I will call perfect (for me at least but I love it dark) 😀
You'd never think you needed these tropes all in one story but you do, and you'll never forget it! This on is a solid 3.5 🌶️ on my personal spicy scale and CJ is NOT shy so keep that in mind. If you like your romance to have an open door - this one's off its hinges so to speak. 👏🏻😍
I have loved the plot so far in The Reaper Awakened (bk1) and TFU. CJ keeps her writing immersive and detailed but it's not an overwhelm. The characters are layered and the dialogue is fantastic. 5⭐ for me because I want it on my shelf and will read this series again. With an ending like that though? I can't wait for book 3! They're on KU so grab em/pre-order if you're here early!

I love me a plot heavy little tale with lots of world building. I ESPECIALLY love a dark story that forces serious character development.

Give me a little spicy spice, some taboo, and some smexy beings like demons and vampires and you have yourself a very happy Amy that devours a book.

What I have really enjoyed with Fury is watching a very talented writer find her groove. CJ has never been shy about absolutely smashing stereotypes and letting that freak flag fly 😉🌶🌶 (dang Gooodreads -what did you do to my spicy pepper?? LOL), but now we are seeing her paint that vivid picture that is rich in senses and detail.

The Fury Unleashed comes after The Reaper Awakened in the Blood Runs Deep series.
Questions answered, new characters introduced, and so much intriguing plot. The futuristic dystopian world CJ Raine has created is amazing. I love the characters and the evolution of their story. Secrets lies and betrayals revealed and so many twists keep you guessing and turning pages. Enzo has my heart and I feel like we have barely touched on his full story. The ending once again has me wanting more and I am very much looking forward to book 3.

I slept on reading this book for entirely way too long. It was phenomenal. Absolutely deliciously dark goodness. It cleared up so many questions from book 1, as secrets and pasts were revealed. Carina and Sarita are total baddies. They are powerhouses of FMCs. I loved how Sarita discovers her true potential, as well as true love with her mates. I love how there are so many different supernaturals. While certain things are falling apart, others are falling together. I can't wait for the next book to finally see what happens with Gia!

This book was definitely more in depth than book 1 with all the plotting and subterfuge.

Cillian did not deserve what happened to him, he just wanted to love his mate… it’s too bad his mate was a possessed psycho hell bent on chaos.

Absolutely phenomenal!

This was so much fun to read. Super spicy, and filled with so many twists and turns. The character development is *chefs kiss*. If you like paranormal why choose, this is one you need to pick up!
