Betrayed and auctioned off, can Milo trust the Alpha who now owns him?
Milo’s used to working off his father’s gambling habit, but when he takes a heavy loss, Milo finds himself drugged and forced onto an auction block. Terrified and on display in a room full of Alphas, Milo fears the worst when he’s bought by the rich and powerful Liam Rockford.
There’s no reason for a billionaire Alpha to buy an Omega unless his desires are too depraved for the light of day. But locked in his suite at Rockford manor, Liam’s tenderness leaves Milo confused. As desire grows between them, can Milo put his trust in the Alpha who owns him?
When Milo demands to act as bait for the very man who kidnapped him, he tests the boundaries of whether he's truly free or just a possession. And when things go sideways, it puts not just Milo's life at risk. Will Liam and Milo make it out together? Or will this gamble be the end for them?

I actually could not tell you what happened in this book like at all. Gun to my head and I'm dying because not a single plot detail has been retained and personally you're getting three stars just for being forgettable sue me
This was definitely my favorite one of the series so far!!
I loved Liam and Milo. Liam is literally the sweetest guy ever. Milo is the complete opposite where he is so damn prickly but it’s honestly so funny. I like how it didn’t deter Liam in the slightest. Milo could be so mean and then Liam would just hold him closer. It was honestly so cute!!
There were some inconsistencies that threw me off a bit.
There was some unfounded OM drama that was literally one sided. In the last book Liam would flirt with Oliver who is his brother’s fiancé only to piss his brother off. He has no feelings whatsoever for him he just liked to rile his brother up. But their other brother mentioned it to Milo and so Milo is convinced Liam is in love with Oliver even though that’s so far from the truth. So there’s some jealousy from Milo.
This is pretty insta loveish at least from Liam. We don’t get his POV but he mentions multiple times that the moment he met Milo he knew he was the one for him.
Also the book description is VERY misleading. In fact it’s not even accurate. It says that Liam wants to use Milo as bait to capture the main guy trafficking and it makes Milo feel like he’s not really loved. That’s not what happened AT ALL. In fact it was Milo’s idea to act as bait and Liam was very much against it. So that definitely needs to be changed. I was sitting here waiting for that angsty part to come only for it to be completely the opposite.
I still hated Caleb. He’s my least favorite character. I really want Jades book but we have to wait for TWO more to come out before we get his!!
NO CHEATING NO REAL OM DRAMA NO THIRD ACT BREAK UP HUMAN TRAFFICKING ATTEMPTED SA ON MMC MURDER HFN/HEA (engaged but storyline is a cliffy)
It felt like the author wanted to include a ton of tropes but then didn't fully commit to them. Lots were included but then not really explored, making them feel pointless (such as the dress-up scene. I love dress-up scenes, but there is usually a purpose for them). Also, not a fan at all of prominent cameos of previous pairings.
Milo is working two jobs to keep a roof over his head for him and his father when he learns his father has sold him to pay his gambling debts. He is drugged and spirited away, waking up to learn he is to be sold in an omega auction. Bidding is high, but he is bought by an Alpha he had met earlier that night when he was at work. Triggered into his heat, he is drugged again, waking up unsure of where he is, only to discovered he is in the house of a team of brothers working to take down a human trafficking ring for omegas. His purchase has saved him, but he wants to help, putting himself in danger again. This series follows individual couples of the brothers, the third one being Milo and Liam, the eldest brother. There is a lot of action, steamy times, a bit of mystery, and a HEA for this couple but danger for another side character. The story is fairly short but fast paced, characters are realistic and interesting, Milo is feisty and Liam is possessive of his omega, and the trafficking story line will continue into the next book. Book held my interest and has me looking forward to the next one in the series.

I did not like this one as much as the other one I read, Milo was too much of a prickly and slightly mean character, not to mention he was a total princess. Liam is one of the deadly Rockford bothers, but he is the sweetest guy ever and wow does he have endless patience to put up with Milo.
Milo’s father is an abusive alcoholic and degenerate gambler who treats his Omega son like trash. Milo is working multiple jobs to try and pay off his father’s gambling debts, keep a roof over their heads and a small amount of food for them which his father selfishly steals for himself, leaving Milo to literally starve. When Milo’s father wracks up too much new debt, he decides to sell Milo into an underground auction for Omegas to be purchased against their will by Alphas. Milo is drugged, humiliated and put up for auction where he is rescued by Liam Rockford who was there in disguise working a family operation.
One aspect of this book that was unnecessary was the OM drama between Oliver and Milo. In the last book, Liam would flirt with Oliver who was his brother’s fiancée just to get a rise out of him and irritate him but there were literally no feelings between Liam and Oliver. In this book however, one of the Rockford brothers mentioned it to Milo who then felt like he was Liam’s second choice and that he was really in love with Oliver which just caused unnecessary drama and jealousy.
I really love this crazy family of psycho but sweet killers who are working so hard to move their family away from the horror of their lineage and instead are focusing on dismantling the Omega sex trafficking ring. It’s very sweet that through the course of their work, the brothers keep finding their soulmates. The Rockfords are sweet, caring, protective, crazy and a whole lot of fun to read. I was sad about who was taken in this book and hope that he comes through ok, I need that book like now!!

Milo is working multiple jobs to pay off his father's gambling debt, but when he loses even more, his father devises a new payment plan - Milo. Drugged and put up for auction, Milo is rescued by Liam Rockford who is in disguise, working undercover for his family. Milo is confused and scared, unable to decide if he can trust the feelings for the Alpha or if he's in more trouble than he can imagine.
You have to love a family of hot billionaires working to undo the wrongs of their family and dismantle an omega-trafficking ring. The fact they keep meeting their perfect matches just makes it more fun. Milo and Liam had heat, humor, and a touch of jealousy. Milo was a prickly princess and Liam was patience personified, a gentleman through and through. The banter with the Rockford family was entertaining and there was excitement surrounding the trafficking storyline. There was danger and a disappearance, and now we need more.
I love this series by Sophie, the Rockford men fall hard and fast, they don't fight it they just protect their omegas.
Milo works 2 jobs to pay off his dad's debts, he lives to work but when he meets Liam Rockford they have some great banter because Milo isn't afraid of fighting back despite his lack of resources. Liam instantly takes care of Milo in a way noone has but his trust issues mean that he doesn't accept Liam's behaviour.
Everything goes wrong quickly after that and an induced heat means Liam mates with Milo before either of them can consent but this really is just the start of their beautiful connection.
A well written story, with lots of action, a bit of emotional drama but a couple who you really just want to love and support each other.

I’m in love with this series, Taken by His Alpha, and Sophie O’Dare is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. We start out with a young hard working omega, Milo, working two jobs only for his dad to take his money, gamble with money he doesn’t have. After losing $50,000 he’s thrown into the omega auction and soon is purchased by Liam, an alpha who he had talked to briefly before being thrown into the auction.
Liam knows that the feisty redhead is his and even though bidding on Milo throws the plans on shutting down the auction house, he’s willing to save and keep his omega.
I loved the dynamics between Liam and Milo. Each book in this series has been excellent and you should start at the first book! Enjoy!!.

This is a fun, high-heat angsty omegaverse novel set in the world of a family of billionaires who are working to dismantle an omega-trafficking ring. Milo is an omega who lives with his violent, alcoholic father while working two horrible, dead-end jobs. Life is hard, but when his father accrues a large gambling debt and sells him for auction, Milo feels hopeless.
Liam is part of the family seeking to catch the traffickers. When he sees Milo up for sale, he knows he must take action. He's already met Milo and was instantly attracted. Both men were and, based on their pheromones, they may even be mates.
This book has danger, abuse, found family, passion, and a beautiful love. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
I couldn't believe Liam could be patient, hold himself back, and be serious too, because when I read Caleb's story, Liam was portrayed as a charmer, and I don't think he took life seriously, but damn, I'm surprised by this other side of Liam, which was great by the way.
The story was good, and thank goodness nothing bad happened to Milo when he was auctioned. I'm glad the author gave a little interaction between Jude and Aaiden, the oldest of the Rockfords. I can't wait to read theirs; too bad Jude went missing, but the following book won't be about him but about Damien instead and the Omega, who have been the victims of human trafficking.
The problem with the bad guys behind the Omegas trafficking wasn't solved yet, and it will continue on.

High level intense. The series is getting better and better. Milo, is a young omega stuck in an untenable family situation. He feels obligated to support his abusive Dad out of loyalty. Milo works two jobs to pay off his Dad's debts. When they get overwhelming, Dad sells Milo to an auction. Liam, one of the billionaire Rockford's bids on and wins Milo. The Rockfords are at it again and Milo and Liam end up with a dangerous unexpected adventure. Omegas are still in danger and the Rockfords are still intent on solving the problem. Milo is an amazing man and Liam is a good match. Another home run story in the series. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Secured by the Buyer by Sophie O'Dare is an intense yet heartwarming M/M Omegaverse romance that balances angst, action, and tender moments. Milo’s journey from despair to finding safety and love with Liam is both gripping and emotional. The plot, centered on dismantling an omega-trafficking ring, adds a layer of danger and urgency, while the growing bond between Milo and Liam brings hope and healing. Though some elements felt fast-paced, the chemistry and "found family" theme kept me hooked. It’s a steamy, high-stakes read with a satisfying mix of passion and redemption.

Loved book 1 & 2. Sweet Leo and poor Oliver lost without his brother. Then there’s Milo 🙄 my least favorite type of character. Yes, he’s had a rough life but that doesn’t give him the right to be an a**hole. I was hoping he would only have this attitude for a chapter or two but here we are at 53% and he’s still being a snappy, sarcastic jerk. .I just can’t do it. Especially when Liam was like, ohh..my poor princess..ugh! I couldn’t help myself and took a peek at the last chapter and the first line I read is, “Can’t knock me up ‘til I’m in Heat, stupid.” Ok! I feel justified with the DNF 🤪 Crossing my fingers that Seven and Damien are better 🤞😏
This book is one of my absolute favorite tropes with a poor character auctioned off to pay a debt that’s not even his own. Poor Milo is at the heart of it all and his story with Liam is heartbreaking and heartwarming. Sopie O’Dare once again hits us all in the feels, but this book really advanced the overall plot of this series. It was in reading this book that I felt like I was starting to understand some of what was going on. Dare has done a great job of keeping bits of story back and also giving some red herrings. I felt like I was discovering things as the characters did which was really fun.

'Hard work is the only way I’ll escape from this prison.'
I loved this book. Good world building and wonderful characters. My heart broke for Milo and what he was struggling through- starving all day, working two jobs to pay off his abusive father's gambling debts. His father is a monster and I wanted him to get his so badly! Milo thought it was bad then, but it only got worse. Or so it seemed. I loved Liam. Liked the dynamic between them and their chemistry sizzled. The story was fast-paced with action, danger, and suspense. I was completely fascinated and hooked to the story. 5 stars
Milo is a Omega working 2 jobs to pay bills and his father's gambling debt. He can't even afford food and has to steal small bits from his convenience store job to try and have something to eat. He meets Liam while he's at his second job working at the casino. He seems like a really nice Alpha that's interested in him and they make plans to meet up. But everything changes when his dad loses big at the craps table and sells him to pay his debt.

This has been one incredibly powerful series and we're only on book 3. Milo and Liam were a sweet, yet intense couple. Perfect for one another. Milo went through so much with his family, dad in particular, where the obligation nearly ruined him. Liam ends up purchasing Milo at an auction and thus begins the intriguing twist of events for them both.

I am really enjoying this series. I think I liked this one best so far. Milo and Liam are good together. With his life as it was Milo was so much better off with Liam. His Dad was a piece of work... was hoping Milo would let Liam do him the favor, lol. He really tried to be honorable, even though his Dad was a POS, but being with Liam, gave him more confidence, even in their short time together. Love that we get to interact with the character from other books. Light angst is my thing these days. Loved the bonus as well.
Book 3 is the most sweetest but also the most exciting book I’ve read so far in this series. Liam and Milo’s story starts off making you want to keep reading. It goes from Milo working two jobs to cover his father’s debt, to meeting Liam, then to being sold because once again his father is has stacked up more debt. It doesn’t drag on and on and it contains action when Milo becomes bait to lure out the bad men. So worth 5 stars ⭐️. A job well done 💜❤️
This was a quick insta love kind of story. An omega without family and love finding his place after a horrific life experience. They were cute together and I love how patient Liam was. All the fam is there as they find their HEA. Jade’s story is up next.
For future me: Single POV No cheating or sharing No diversity Insta and smexy happens fast.
3.75. ⭐️ Just wanted to say this had a really good start, but lost a little momentum while at the estate. Also this wasn’t Mpreg just incase you’re reading it for that tag. Other then that I’m intrigued to see if book 4 is a redemption for the tragedy of book 2… cause I was not thrilled about that secondary plot ending…
I enjoyed this book, and plan to read the others in this series. This book follows Milo and Liam, who in normal cermstances, wouldn't pair well. I loved Milo (and the name). He was easy to connect with, and my heart went out to him. Great story line, great promise for the series, and overall great read. I will read more from this author.
Everything about this book is spot on. The characters are well developed and likeable. Plot exciting and well thought out. World building continues to impress. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend this book and series.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It is a fast paced story that ends with Milo getting his own alpha in Liam. I liked how brave Milo is and how wily he can be. Liam falls hard for him. The teaser at the end makes me eager for the next book.
Milo is going to be auctioned off because of his father's gambling debt. He finds out that Liam, the man who bought him is working undercover to bring down the human traffickiong ring. All Milo knows is that he feels safe with Liam. I really enjoyed this book.
