Aria
He tells me he’s my husband but I would never touch someone like him.
Those green eyes and harsh words are a clear sign that I should stay away and not get stuck in his trap.
But the soft caresses and those eyes that sparkle when they look down at me, made me weak.
I was always told to be careful when it comes to love.
Ace
I promised him that if he ever touched what was mine he would pay.
The only thing I ever felt something for, was taken by the one who ruined her life.
Now she stares up at me as if I’m a stranger and she’s never seen me before.
No one told me that heartbreak could sting like this.

After finishing ‘Ace DeLuca’ I could not wait for this book, and let me say it did not disappoint.
‘Aria DeLuca picks up right where book one ended.
I loved seeing the flashbacks between Aria from the previous years and her past relationships. Although the book moves at a fast pace I do wish that there were more scenes between Ace and Aria and them reconnecting after her kidnapping along with more of Ace, Aria and Thalia.

(And can we talk about the budding bromance between Alex and Ace, I absolutely love it)

CANNOT BE READ AS A STAND-ALONE

4⭐️ This is the second book in the De Luca series that is a continuation of Ace and Aria’s story. This is a dark romance book and in this book we get to see some past perspectives to get more of Aria’s story. Overall, I am happy that Aria and Ace got their happy ending.

I won’t lie but I had a hard time trying to finish this book, I easily could’ve finished it in like a day or even a few hours but I physically just couldn’t get myself too pick it up and finish it.
I was definitely really intrigued with the second book as the first book ended with a crazy cliff hanger but when I started reading Aria De Luca I was really really confused. The story didn’t really add up at some points which kinda pissed me off cuz I’m an absolute whore for mafia books and these two really disappointed me :( I did enjoy some bits like all the scenes with Aria and Ace. I absolutely love them together and I loved the character development that Ace had with Aria and everyone else. I wouldn’t rr this book again which is a book disappointment, the books were really overhyped and I just wished the author re checked both of her books since there were loads of spelling errors and mistakes. I am happy I read this book though as I’m always eager to read any mafia books even if I didn’t enjoy them in the end.
However I loved the ending for Aria De Luca and definitely couldn’t of been happier with how it ended. <3

4/5 stars!!

*heartfelt sigh* Aria & Ace have my heart forever. I was on the edge of my seat throughout and I’m in a constant state of happiness seeing how the story turned out.

YES TO DUAL POV’s!! There’s just something about knowing both sides of a story that makes me love it more. We get to see a whole new side to Ace in this book and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. His love for Aria shines brighter than ever and I loved to see everything through his eyes. Aria’s character development gave everything that was missing in the first book and I was in constant awe. Once you see the bigger picture, her strength becomes all the more admirable and it’s becomes even easier to love her character.

I won’t lie, there were moments where I wished for a bit more in terms of the plot line. I think there were certain parts that were built up so well to be action packed but ended up falling a bit flat. Overall though, I still loved it with my whole heart. Keen to read ‘Thalia De Luca’ ♡

aria de luca review 🖤

[arc received in exchange for an honest review]

Make sure you read 'Ace De Luca' first before jumping into this one because this is not a standalone, it’s a continuation to what happened in the first book.

After the ending of 'Ace De Luca' I couldn’t wait to get my hands on 'Aria De Luca', especially after that last chapter.
The book starts right after the events of the first one.
We get some more insights of Aria‘s past relationship and how her and Ace‘s relationship develops.
I loved that we got some family moments towards the end of the book.
I have to admit, it felt a bit rushed like everything was happening at once but it was a great way to get some insights into the characters and their development.

Now i‘m so excited for Thalia De Luca and can‘t wait to read her story!

I absolutely loved it, amazing, read it in like 2 hours cause I was too impatient.

So when I finished Ace De Luca I was confused af since like the first time it was also a similar ending but the I read Aria De Luca and I was so mad at that fucker Dante.

I just wanted to kill him and rip him into shreds and rip his heart ot and make him beg at Aria's feet for forgiveness

And Ace. I don't need to explain why he is perfect. He is literal perfection so yeah.

I felt so bad for everyone wehn Aria forgot them and I almost started crying so yeah.

5⭐️ This book was so good i was so shocked with the first beginning chapters and i thought this book was so good i just had to read it again. Seeing how all of the characters have grown into them selfs now it’s crazy. I love Aria and how much she has changed throughout the books and she is one of my favorite characters because of how strong she is.

this is going to be a four stars & i hate to put it as this but honestly it was such a slow book for me, even though i finished it quite quickly. dante just isn’t it for me, he quite literally pissed me off on a new level which is crazy because he is literally a character.

Can’t say anything other than the fact this book was exactly what I was missing in the first part. It contained 2 povs, more plot and made more sense. Dante really pissed me off so much AGHHHH. the fact they didn’t kill him bc they wanted aria to do it pissed me off. just chop his head off and problem solved. But because they were fooling around he escaped and it throbbed more problem. Despite that ace and aria will forever have my HEARTTTT they are so cute and i will NEVER get over the zoo scene with their daughter Thalia. Stressing out over the fact that newborn was kidnapped twice 😭 but ace did it

(4.5 ⭐️)

I received an ARC in return for an honest review.

This book followed on perfectly from Ace De Luca, and I'm glad that we got to see each character develop. I love how we also saw the relationships between characters get stronger.

The only criticism I have is that it felt slightly rushed. I feel like between aria remembering, and the wedding, there could've been a few more scenes between aria and ace, and maybe even some scenes where we get to see aria interacting with thalia.

But, I love this book and I can't wait for Thalia De Luca!

I'm so proud of Jaclin and how far she's come <3

3 stars *SPOILER FREE*

- arc received in exchange for an honest review -

This Book is the 2nd in the De Luca Series, and may NOT be read as a Stand-alone.

It was interesting to see how the author was going to go about the story considering I had only read the Wattpad version of ‘Ace De Luca’. I was excited to see what she would do for ‘Aria De Luca’. I like how the author handled Aria’s situation and the trauma she experienced. But I kind of wish the story was a little longer than it was since it did feel a little rushed towards the end of it. All together it was a good way to wrap up Ace & Aria’s story and I can’t wait to read ‘Thalia De Luca’ next.

The whole she loses her memory plot was so unnecessary…especially when she out of no where within a sentence remembered everything…it was pointless to have that in the story if it was magically cured before I could register anything. I think if there’s was more of a gradual progression with her remembering stuff it would’ve been better.

All in all It was an okay read, I do still recommend it! Just keep in mind that the “issue” in the book does get resolved VERY quick . And the book is a bit long, just like the first book (I think that the author could’ve smushed both these books and made it one 300 something pages book and it would’ve been perfect.
