ONE OF THE MOST STUPIDEST AND RIDICULOUS MAFIA ROMANCE

This woman is the definition of doormat and damsel in distress. Her self respect and self esteem is nowhere to be seen . She is masochist. She is kidnapped by him , tied, blindfolded and gagged but she cares about what if he gets hurt. After the things he did she is confused if she leaves him , she is leaving chunks of her heart with him ( they have been together for 2 days max ) . I bet she can get wet even if he is just fucking breathing.


FIERO CAPITO

He kidnapped her and forcefully took her virginity. then again this was not satisfying so he forcefully made her marry him. he also calls her little caramel this is one of the most cringiest nickname i have ever heard.

First? That cover had me 🥵🥵🥵.

Second? Fiero had me straight feral.

“…I need a taste. Watch yourself in the mirror and see how gorgeous you are as you come apart on my tongue.”

Fiero has built an empire after distancing himself from his family and Emma finds herself in his clutches. But neither is what they seem. Secrets will be revealed and lust will be sated. I loved this spicy enemies to lovers romance with all the passion and heart I’ve come to expect from Bonds.

This was an intense and heartbreaking story of escape and rebuilding after a nightmare that made the MFC the fearless woman she is. One who would do anything to protect those she loves as well as the man she comes to love. You will cheer for her.
And I was hooked from the beginning!
When Emma has to treat an armed and wounded gangster in the ER, she never knew it would pull her back into a past she thought she'd escaped. She and her sister ran away from that life a long time ago and she's not going back.
Fiero sees the nurse who treated that traitor that went after his boss. At a different time, he would have acted upon his attraction to her but he was here on business. When he sees a hit man studying the nurse, he knows who sent him. He can't allow that. He swore years ago to protect innocent women and children from his evil brother's flesh trade but when she sees him taking out her attacker, he has no choice but to take her as well. She's seen too much.
Why does she look so familiar and look at him like she recognizes him?
Their lives are intertwined in more ways than he could ever guess and she has to get away from him before he realizes who she is. Why her body reacts to him like it does, she doesn't know. She doesn't want him no matter what her body says.
His body reacts to hers the same way and at first he fights it but he still enjoys it. By the time he sees the signs of abuse on her body, he knows two things. She is his and no one will ever touch her again. One taste and both of them know that the fire between them will never be extinguished. He shatters her trust but he can't let her go.

This one had me on a white-knuckled emotional roller coaster ride and I loved it! The love that bloomed from their rocky start was all consuming and his "mia caramellina" is the one he will burn the world to keep safe.

V.T. Bonds has truly outdone herself with "Twisted Vows," the third book in her "Vicious Mafia Kings" series. The main characters, Fiero Capito and Mia (also known as Emma), left their previous lives in San Francisco seven years ago to start anew in New York City. However, fate brings them together unexpectedly. Fiero has a nagging feeling that he should recognize Mia, but he can't quite place her. Meanwhile, Mia knows exactly who Fiero is and wants nothing to do with him; unfortunately, circumstances don’t give her a choice.

Both characters possess strong personalities and unmatched loyalty to those they care about, and their chemistry ignites like fire. This intense mafia story delves into the complexities of mafia life, showcasing both its darkness and the more relatable, human sides of the characters involved. This has become one of my favorite reads so far, and I can't wait for the release of "Brutal Vows."

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. This series has been everything. I am so happy I was introduced to Ms. Bonds. She is handling business with this series. Mia Rivera is a nurse. She and her sister are on the run and have been for the past seven years. The wrong person walked into her ER and now the mafia is on her doorstep. The thing that she was running away from had found them. Mia, previously Emma Lansa, was engaged to a horrible Don that wanted her and her sister. He treated her horribly and she had the scars to show for it. Thankfully she was able to get away and stay hidden until now.

Fiero Capito was on the lookout for the Don that Mia was forced to help in the ER. Fiero was the consigliere to Giorgio Vivaldi and renounced his family seven years ago. Something about the nurse was familiar to Fiero. He did not want to dwell on it for too long because his priority was to keep this beautiful woman safe. Fiero wanted Mia from the moment he saw her. To keep her safe, he had to kidnap her. He could not resist. Mia is a smart mouth who knows something Fiero doesn't know. Mia has vowed to keep her secret to protect her sister from the enemy, Fiero's brother. Mia doesn't know that Fiero no longer associates with the family. She wonders if someone from the family sent him to find her. Fiero just wants to love her. Readers will love everything Fiero does to gain Mia's trust. These two have some things to work out. Fiero will eventually figure out Mia's secret. Will he stand beside her once he finds out who she really is? Every book I read in this series is better than the previous one. These Vicious Kings have one weakness. The woman they give their heart to has the ability to rule their world.

This is the 3rd book in the Vicious Mafia Kings series. Even though each love story is it's own stand alone, characters from previous stories, and events that took place appear or are referenced in each subsequent story. Fiero is the reluctant consigliere, second and best friend to Giorgio of Heartless Vows. While doing some recon he watches a pretty nurse who looks familiar be targeted by his subject and kidnaps her to keep her safe. He doesn't realize that she is already in too deep. She has already run from the mafia once and changed her identity, it is her bad luck to be kidnapped by the brother of the very man she ran from. Now he is telling her that she is his, forcing her to marry him, and telling her he will never let her go. They have to unravel the secrets from her past and solve their current mafia drama. He is large and in charge, a dominant mafia alpha who takes what he wants and he knows the second he sees her that she is who he wants. He will burn everything down to keep her, he will fight anyone who tries to take her. There is some serious hot steamy spice in this one, there is also humor, tenderness and OTT passion. This has been a great series to read. The men are morally gray, but have a definite sense of honor. They will do anything for their women, and once the fall, they fall hard and fast.

A wonderful read, dark and dangerous and with a simply fantastic plot that will captivate
Mia is working under an assumed name at a hospital as an ER nurse when she has a Mafia man and his conciliary come into her theatre and hold her to gun point as she retrieves the bullets from the wounds and stitches him up.
Threatened with her life if she identifies him to the police as she leaves the hospital that night, she sees the brother of her ex-fiancé murder the man that has returned to kill her as promised not until he has a good time with her first, then murders her as painfully as possible.
Fiero Capito cannot allow the nurse to be harmed so takes matters into his own hands and then he takes her hostage himself and realises that he cannot possibly let her go, he already knows that he loves her and that he wants to spend his life with her.
Imagine his surprise when he discovers that he actually met both her and her sister before but then he knew her as Emma and now he has to ensure that his brother never finds her or else she will be dead and this cannot be allowed.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Emma, a nurse, accidentally witnesses Fiero (consiglieri for Giorgio Valvadi, don of the NYC Mafia) unalive someone in an alley. Not risking her saying anything yet wanting to protect her, he decides he has to take her. Although Fiero feels he's seen her somewhere before, he can't place her. But he has seen Emma before as she is the daughter of the Don of San Fran who ran away to escape the things she was being subjected to.

She was severely hurt by her (ex)-fiance, who she was being forced into marrying, in front of a group of other men. Luckily she grabbed her sister and ran away, creating a new identity (now calls herself Mia) so they wouldn't be found.

Fiero quickly became obsessed with her and decided she was his and no one else would ever have her! The passion between them is intense and the spicy scenes are so good! I loved how he was sweet with her but also dominant and controlling, taking what he wanted. She kept saying she wanted to leave but was pulled in by him.

When he first took her he had her blindfolded as she didn't want to know who he was but he eventually decided to remove her mask. She instantly recognizes him and is now afraid that her past is coming back to destroy her.

There is mystery, suspense, drama/action, romance, lust/desire and so much more packed into this story; I loved this book so much and am excited for the next one!

On the night mobster Narciso Vivaldi comes into the ER with gunshot wounds she has to treat, the realization, its now time to move on has never been clearer. But before she can put plans into motion, the next day she witnesses the takedown of one of Vivaldi’s goons by MMC
Fiero Capito, consigliere for Mob boss Giorgio Vivaldi who Narciso had turned traitor on.
Fiero has no choice but to kidnap Emma because anything else for him wasn’t an option.
Enjoyed this intensely good enemies-to-lovers, dark and compulsively readable mafia romance that is written well with a strong female lead and a possessive alpha male who knows what he wants, and as it turns out Mia/Emma becomes his biggest want.
There is plenty of intrigue, danger, family dynamics, violence, secrets, suspense, and HOT spice weaved into this tilt a whirl of mafia thrills and chills which will also manage to ensnare the heart of it’s captive audience along the way.

I struggled with Twisted Vows; there is just so much violence in this story, both between the protagonists and in general. Fiero is supposed to be a mafia consigliere, but he came across as just muscle to me. He never engages in anything strategic, like advising or creating plans during the entirety of this book; instead, he’s staking out someone and taking out anyone around that person in often gruesome ways. Emergency-room nurse Emma has been in hiding from her cruel mafia-don fiancé for seven years when she witnesses Fiero’s violence.

Fiero falls into instalust with Emma, who he’s kidnapped because she of what she saw and because she might have a connection to that mafioso he seeks. But his way of showing love is brutal—these two are always biting, clawing, scraping, and more with each other. This made it hard for me to accept that Emma would fall in love with anyone who treated her this way (and who she treated this way as well). Both Fiero and Emma are misfits, working in a dark environment to bring down those who would hurt them or those they love.

I really enjoyed the first books in the Vicious Mafia Kings series and recommend them wholeheartedly. But this book leans too much into the first word of this series’ name.

Not quite what I expected. Read the Trigger warnings!!!

This book confused me on so many levels.

Emma left San Francisco with her sister and fled to New York to get away from marrying a Mafia Don who beat her and would have done worse had they stayed. Only to be found by his brother and captured.

I was confused by the following:
1) How did they escape?
If it was mentioned it was breezed through and I didn't catch it (other than the blurb). The level of abuse she endured would have left her unable to get away so she would have needed help.
2) Why go to NY? I know it's easy to get lost in the large crowds but why not another country? They speak Italian, they could have easily gone to Italy and disappeared. Going to NY proved that they could be found.
3) The whole pleasure/pain thing was never explained. If she was a virgin how does she know she equates pain with pleasure? And how would she when she was beaten so severely??

The weird reaction of the sister too, was strange. After the initial freak out she was too accepting of their relationship.

IDK, this one was too much for me.. Dark for sure, due to the non-consent. Not my cup of tea.

Emma is unexpected drawn into a world she escaped from with her sister Katherine years ago. Now she has to fight once again to find a way out so she and her sister can reach safety. Running away may not be as easy as it seems. Fiero is a figure from her past but he doesn’t seem to realize who she is. Fiero is drawn to Mia, the feisty nurse who he has as his unexpected captive. He took her to protect her from his latest job but Fiero can’t seem shake the feelings that draw him in deeper. Now, letting her go is not an option. Both have escaped their pasts from the same monster, and are reunited by chance. Such an amazing story!! I loved seeing the tension between them sizzle and combust into fiery passion! The vibe of Fiero falling head over heels for Emma almost instantly while Emma fought her feelings for him was so satisfying! Definitely recommend this book! This book is a perfect mix between non stop action and super spicy romance. Plus the vibe of enemies to lovers we’re all for! You don’t want to miss this!

I love, love, love a good mafia romance and this one did not disappoint. The author had me hooked from the start.

Emma aka Mia former mafia princess, took her younger sister, Katherine, and ran away from a life of abuse with her ex fiancé and mafia boss Seppi. They started a new life with new identities but fate had other plans for her.

Enter Fiero, younger brother to the evil Seppi, and now trusted consiguleri to the Valvadi mafia family. He fled his family when his brother decided to get into the flesh trade and he didn’t want any part of it.

One night by chance Mia sees him take out someone and Fiero has no option but to kidnap her. The chemistry between these two is so hot even from the start. She gives him attitude, fury, snark, and in the end love.

This story was a whirlwind and I can’t wait to go read all the rest of the books in this series.

Running from one brother only to get caught by another brother

Emma and Katherine were mafia daughters sold to an evil, heartless, scum bucket by their father. So, they ran. Emma became Mia Rivera. Mia obtained her nursing license and worked in the ER at a 24/7 Emergency hospital. She worked as much as she could to keep her and Katherine out of sight. Mia suffers nosebleeds when something bad is going to happen. She didn’t know if it was a curse or a blessing. If Seppio Capito finds them they are as good as dead. Seppio had or I should say had a brother, Fiero. Fiero has disowned and split from his brother and his family and joined forces with another mafia family. Fiero gets rid of the competition that is stalking Mia, but Mia saw it all. Fiero takes Mia hostage because she saw it all. That’s when the story gets great. Fiero and Mia are made for each other. She has moxy and is brave and Fiero loves that in his woman. There are some triggers so be sure to check them out.

Emma/Mia is just doing her job when the world she left behind in her past (as Emma) literally comes crashing into her present. Living everyday on pins and needle isn't great, but whatever she can do to provide a normal as normal can be life for her younger sister is worth it.

Fiero is on the hunt for the man who tried to take out his boss when he comes across Emma/Mia. She looks familiar but he can't seem to recall if they've meet before or not. They must not have as there would be no way he would ever forget someone as delectable as she.

Neither one expects their past demons to catch up to them. The question is whether or not they'll be able to overcome them. Alone, probably not. Together... well, let's hope they both can make it out in one peace and find their HEA.

I really enjoyed this one. Fiero, although stern, was very playful and sensual towards Emma/Mia. Their chemistry was totally HOT! Definitely a great addition to this series!

Twisted Vows is the third story in The Vicious Mafia Kings series. The story is beautifully written, amazingly balanced and phenomenally executed by V. T. Bonds. This author continues to take me by surprise with their amazing storytelling and writing skills with each book I’ve read by them so far. Twisted Vows follows the story of Emma and Fiero. I absolutely enjoyed getting to know these two characters as well as seeing their story unfold through the pages of the book. The chemistry between Emma and Fiero is absolutely breathtaking and undeniably irresistible. I found both characters to be entertaining, interesting and intriguing all at the same time. Twisted Vows is quite captivating from beginning to end and I didn’t want to put it down for a single second. Twisted Vows is a recommended mafia romance for anyone to checkout and give it a read.

Wow. This one was truly twisted. And I loved it! While some of what was happening during steamy scenes wasn’t 100% my jam, it was still a spicy well written book. And the characters were phenomenal.
Fiero is a man who has reinvented himself after leaving his brother’s employ. He’s found an amazing family to work for and protect. Which is what he was doing when he sees Mia/Emma. He was a pretty intense character who loved pushing Mia’s buttons.
Emma/Mia is a woman who has completely reinvented herself to get away from a really horrible man. She’s strong, resilient, and still has major issues she’s never worked through as she’s been focused on this new life and protecting her sister.
They are super intense together and she gets the chance to work through these major issues as Fiero shows her that he isn’t like the men she’s running from.
Super good and definitely recommend this series.

The story is exciting and full of action, which makes it very entertaining. Both main characters, Fiero and Emma, are immediately likeable and you quickly build a connection with them. Their relationship is harmonious and complements each other perfectly, which makes the dynamic between them very appealing. It is particularly positive that Emma is portrayed as a strong fighter and not a damsel in distress. The love scenes are well written and contribute to the development of the relationship. However, one would have liked to learn more about the Lanza family and the backgrounds of the main characters to understand the story even more deeply. The ending of the story is successful and rounds off the plot satisfactorily.

Twisted Vows is a worthwhile, compelling mafia suspense story with a ton of emotion and searing hot spice throughout. The author packed this story with intense mafia action so just know that the characters are threatened around every turn, finding themselves in bloody battles, graphically described. I don’t think this story was any more violent than the others in the series but be aware if you are sensitive to such scenes. Personally, I wouldn’t have my mafia romances any other way, and I really enjoyed this story and the characters. Emma and Fiero are memorable together. I love how V.T. writes her wonderful characters! Emma was so strong and fierce in guarding her sister. And Fiero was ultra-dominating but possessed a heart of gold. I recommend!

From the beginning to the end, these two were vicious. There was so much violence, spitting, and clawing. The OD scenes were violent, not passionate. He rapidly her, taking her virginity while she was tied up.
From the previous book, I liked Fiero, but the deeper I went, the less I liked him. He was a man who had no self-control.
I thought I was going to like Emma, but that never happened.
Almost half the book was with her in his bedroom.
Somewhere along the way, the mission of finding out who was targeting the families and finding Giogio"s uncle got forgotten.
To call their relationship romance would be a stretch. The only time it came in handy was when someone else was after them.
If you like violence in a couple's interactions, then you will like this book.

The perfect mix for a great read.

Twisted Vows is the third book in the Vicious Mafia Kings series, it could be read as a standalone as it follows a new couple, however it also follows on in terms of timeframe and an overarching enemy from the previous book/s (and we also get to revisit with characters from the previous book).

Mia is an ER nurse with secrets, she gets caught up in a situation which ends up in her being kidnapped by Fiero who also has secrets.....

Their chemistry is super hot, it is a bit dark, there is danger, violence, an obsessive Alpha male, a female who is strong in her own right and is more than capable of saving herself when she needs to, it is the perfect mix for a great read.

I can't wait for the next book in the series.

I'll admit the book started a bit slow but once it peaked what a ride this was! First time reading the author and definitely not the last time. This book was so different from dark romance I've read in so many ways in a sense that it was wholesome and gave all the feels. The mmc was tough dangerous and alpha but also on the other hand tender and romantic and not in a cheesy way I normally read. Anyway for fear I'll give spoilers I'll just say the plot was perfect, the writing was brilliant, the characters were well thought out and the darkness was exactly what my darkness ordered and the steamy scenes delicious and toe curling. This is a book to read without a doubt if you love dark romance without compromise.

Dark mafia story with TW, especially dubcon. But it's oh so good. Mia/Emma is on the run with her sister Katherine from her mafia life, specifically her father and ex fiancé. I actually loved these two MCs. Attracted to each other, they both have a lot of secrets. Mia is strong and holds her own, while at the same time she craves someone to protect her, care for her, hurt her. Yep she's a masochist, which conflicts with her need to be strong, for herself and her sister. Fiero Capito is the consigliere to Giorgio Vivaldi, and has vowed to protect his found family, at any cost. The spicy scenes are fire on the page. And I love how Fiero is OTT protective of not only his mafia family, Emma and her sister. Amazing HEA.

Irresistible!
Fiero is hunting his boss’ uncle after the gun fight and tracks him to the small hospital where he finds the ER nurse who should have information that could help him. But one of the uncle’s goons is there too and he wants to kill her. Fiero kills him, but Mia witnesses this act and he finds himself obliged to take her with him. Slowly, all kinds of feelings enter the scene, complicated by their hidden history. In this series of mafia men, who are criminals and killers, but also honorable (as far as that goes), protective of the people they love and caring individuals. Love them and love their stories!

The banter ,the clash of wills ,the chemistry between them is explosive and kept me on the edge of my seat until the perfect ending.
One more amazing addiction to this series!
Highly recomend if you like strong woman and ruthless but thrustworthy mafia men that do everything to protect the womens they love.

This is another good read in this series. Emma and Fiero are strong characters that are made for each other. I enjoyed the way their relationship grew. Emma is a strong woman and when Fiero barges into her life she does not back down. Life brings these two together and lets things happen all on their own. The chemistry between Emma and Fiero is off the charts and trust must be earned. Their romance is not full of hearts and flowers and their relationship is full of ups and downs but soon the two find that they may just have something worth fighting for. Their story moves at a good pace and kept me engaged all the way to the end.
