Black Widow's Kiss

Rate this book
What do you get when you marry a calculating mobster to the infamous "Black Widow" of the yakuza?

A union soaked in blood and betrayal.

I never expected to be getting married, especially not to the most dangerous figure in the Sato family. But when a chance to strengthen our family's grip on New York's underworld presents itself, I know I can't refuse. My loyalty to the Ricci name demands this sacrifice, even if it means tying my fate to someone who might be plotting my demise.

But nothing is as it seems. Instead of a ruthless killer, Kuroi Sato turns out to be a chaotic force of nature—unpredictable, deadly, and irresistibly captivating. Born from a scandalous union that nearly destroyed his father’s empire, he’s nothing like the silent assassin I expected; he’s a storm that threatens to pull me under if he's not handcuffed, disciplined, and marked.

As I dig deeper into the secrets surrounding Kuroi, every clue points back to him looking to make me his next meal. But the closer I get to the truth, the more I realize that our lives are entwined in ways I never imagined.

In a city where loyalty is power and blood is the price, there’s no escape. I’ll either conquer his heart or join the graves of his past lovers.

If I could give this a zero for a score I would. Not because it’s bad but because I love the book that this is a plagiarism of. If you want to read the actual book read “Say I Do” by Brea Alepou and Skylar Snow. This “author” has used AI to rip off their hard work and is now taunting them about it on TikTok. Just vile. Write your own work rather than plagiarizing others.

Read this to offer an unbiased review about the plagiarism claims from Skylar Snow and the book Say I Do. Let this be a warning to those who want to support legitimate authors: TLDR, don’t read this book. It’s definitely plagiarism, at least for the premise and characters. The writing quality is also 1⭐️.

Here’s my review:
First of all, the writing is stark and has a lot of telling about background instead of actual showing/interesting scenes. It truly feels like the author is both summarizing and slightly altering (to make it less interesting) parts of Say I Do at the beginning. The way it’s written leaves so much to be desired and it feels like key points are just not being described. The setting isn’t well established at all. The character “development” is forced, and the plot was kind of ridiculous.

Here are some icks: The fact that within the first chapter, the characters are throwing around racist language like “foreign fucks” and “Japanese fucks” was also an immediate ick… plus, apparently Dante’s dad raised them to be hard mafia dudes, but somehow his brother doesn’t know what a “made man” is..what?? Also lots of sexist language. Kuroi refers to himself as Dante’s wife all the time, and then tries to act like the “perfect wife” by wearing makeup and cooking/cleaning. Dante also says this: “Woah! Your fuckin’ father made his own son a prostitute?”.. there are so many layers to unpack with the sexism in this book. Another honorable mention: Also when Dante first looks into the eyes of Kuroi without even being sure it’s him or his sister and somehow “would destroy the world to make them” his. Another real life line from the finale is: “Ahhh!” she screamed.🤣🥶 writing is so cringe to me. The finale also read like a scooby doo villain.

The decisions the characters make and the actions they take don’t align. Like, Dante decides he has to marry Kuroi even though his family either doesn’t know or thinks it’s not a good idea, then he says later that it “hadn’t been his choice” to marry him. What??? No other solution?? It was legit him who made the decision?? So many inconsistencies like this make the book hard to follow. The writing is choppy and leaves no room for getting to know the characters or an interesting plot. I reallllly don’t understand why Dante likes Kuroi from the beginning. Because he’s hot? Basically nothing happens between them, but by 1/3 the way in Dante’s inner monologue is like “grr he’s mine”..why?! Then Kuroi’s motivations just totally make no sense. There’s no tension or anything that makes me believe them.

The similarities to Say I Do include:
Dante is a son of a mafia boss (?) who’s taken over. Decides to have an arranged marriage with the daughter of a Yakuza, but it ends up being switched with a son. He also has a bunch of brothers by the way. Kuroi is tied up, attacks the guys that bring him in. Then he marries Dante, wearing a dress. Kuroi also stabs Dante the first time he appears at his home. A lot of them attacking each other but without the awesome sexual tension in SID.
The (attempted) characterization of the MCs is blatantly similar to Say I Do as well. This is probably the most damning reason I think this is plagiarism. Dante is this self assured, family oriented, protective “straight” guy. He somehow also manages to be incredibly unlikable and dense, kinda lame, and his inner dialogue is so boring to read. Then we have Kuroi, who is rebellious, dangerous, sassy, and overall a shit disturber. Very comfortable with his sexuality, femininity, and wearing lingerie. And also loves stabbing. His “development” however.. the book seems to try and unlock his insecurities, but it just makes him pathetic and undermines his character. I thought the Black Widow stuff would have been rad, but the “twist” in the end just made it weird and icky. Truly these two don’t make any sense, yet so many traits and details of the characters are wildly similar to Benito and Harlow.
The author is trying to make it seem like they only copied tropes, but these details make it seem copied TO ME. It feels like this author is doing a great job vilifying Skylar Snow online. If I was them, I’d also feel upset by the amount of similarities, and the fact that this author is making money off of this drama is really unfortunate.

Bottom line is, I think this book is plagiarized. The author admitted to using AI to some extent. And even if the above two were not true, the writing quality is poor anyways. I wanted to truly give this book a chance to see what the truth was in this plagiarism drama, and it was hard to find a detailed review doing that. I hope this can provide detailed reasoning for why I think this book isn’t worth it.

The audacity.

If you’re that lazy about writing books to the point u need to steal from others and use AI, then just don’t. Stealing other people’s hard work it’s not only really f*cked up but a federal offense. If I were you, I would delete this immediately.

And to all that support this knowing what happening, know that you’re the problem too.

I liked Karoi

Defiantly different but surprisingly short. I really wanted the story to go on and to see Dante and Karoi being sweet with each other. I also wanted to see Dante deal with Sato!

This book is the LA clothing district version of the Coach bag. A rip off and only good because it coped word for word from the original.
If you want to read the the original book not the AI version. Read "Say I, Do" by Skyler Snow and Brea Alepoú.
You will love Benito and Harlow.

Hello, I read this book so you don’t have to. With all the tiktok drama I decided for myself to see if this book was truly plagiarized from the original Say I Do by Brea Alepoú.

First, lets see the differences and similarities between the books.

Obvious similarities
1. Both story locations is set in NYC.
2. Both Mafia MC’s and are the oldest siblings.
3. Both Mafia MC’s are meant to be taken over the business completely soon.
4. Both Mafia MC’s are marrying a yakuza member.
5. Both Mafia MC’s were suppose to marry the sister.
6. Both Yakuza families needed stronger ties in the crime world.
7. Both Yakuza MC’s are tied up at to beginning of the story.
8. Both Yakuza MC’s got sold off by their fathers then sa’d.
9. Both Yakuza MC’s like to wear feminine accessories.
10. Both Yakuza MC’s stabs their husbands.
11. Both Mafia MC’s like to choke their husbands when angry.
12. Both Yakuza demand to sleep in the same bed since they’re married.
13. Both MC’s get spanked as punishment.

Differences (if you squint)
In this story Dante’s has to figure out who tried to kill him right after his wedding, falling instantly in love with his marriage arrangement along the way.

1. The Vitale’s Yakuza doesn’t dabble in drugs.
The Ricci’s Yukuza heavily dabbles in drugs.

2. father and him arranged the marriage for a better alliance in crime world.
Dante’s father disapproves of the arrangement entirely not trusting the Yakuza.

3. The Ricci is family indebted to the Yukuza for killing one of their own.
The Vitale family is at an alliance with the Yakuza.

4. The Ricci family knew about the arranged marriage.
The Vitale family did not know about the arrangement marriage.

5. The Ricci’s Yukuza’s father loves his daughter and despises the son.
The Vitale’s Yukuza’s father despises his all his children.

6. Dante knew 2 days before he was going to be marrying the guy.
Benito did not know he was going to be marry a guy.

7. Only one of the Dante’s brothers was at the wedding.
Benito’s brothers was at his wedding.

8. Dante and Kuroi kissed at their wedding ceremony.
Bentio and Harlow do not.

9. Dante is already possessive of Kuroi since the kiss at the wedding.
For Benito, it takes awhile for him to become possessive.

10. Dante gets into a wreck because of a panic attack from kissing Kuroi right after the wedding.
Benito goes to have drinks at a bar after his wedding.

11. Kuroi walks into his new home and is able to explore freely.
Harlow is basically kidnapped to his and new home and locked away immediately.

12. Dante mocks the feminine clothes Kuroi wears.
Benito love’s whatever Harlow wears.

13. First time Kuroi stabs Dante is for mocking his feminine clothing option.
First time Harlow stabs Benito is from jealousy possessiveness for being with another women at a bar.

14. Kuroi’s nickname on the streets is Black Widow apparently idk.

15. Kuroi talks in third person as he dissociates while stabbing Dante (AI text for sure) as his nickname is the black widow?
Context: “It was then that my mind floated to another place. It was there that I realized that I hadn't properly accessorized. I had thought bringing my knives too garish considering my form fitting suit. So, sprinting across the room before my husband could open the fridge, I borrowed one of his from the butcher's block.
I would like to say that there was a reason I chose the one I did, but I was no longer the one in control. The Black Widow had taken over and it seemed that she didn't feel the way I did about the new man in my life.
With a quick strike, she plunged the paring knife into the back of my husband's thigh. I didn't expect to hear him scream. He had to know it was coming, didn't he? Hadn't he practically begged for it?
None the less, the poke woke him up. Still, I expected him to be quicker. Before he turned around, she had gotten him again. This time in the side. She did have a soft spot for him though, because she missed his organs. It was more of a Prince Albert entering one side and coming out the other.
It was only then that my hubby reacted. He was surprisingly fast for an old man. With the blade still in him, he reached back grabbing my neck. Bending me first, he tossed me across the room. My hubby was strong.
If that was his plan to stop the Black Widow, he had another thing coming. No longer having the knife, she gathered herself and sprung back. Launching herself into the air, she landed on his neck. Holding on as he spun, her grip loosened when he backed her into the fridge.
He was definitely a strong one. And when he did it again with twice as much force, she let go her grip allowing him to take her by the throat, lift her over his head, and slam her onto the couch.
With his hands tightening around her neck, I saw the life return to his eyes. He had chosen mad-ness. It was glorious to see. The sight of it ushered the Black Widow away and brought me back.
My hubby's hands were powerful. I was help-less. He could kill me with just the flick of his wrist.
Would he? As the darkness swallowed my sight, I wasn't sure.
When I came to, things were much calmer. My husband was no longer choking the life out of me and I was no longer trying to kill him. I was instead desperately trying to catch my breath and he was applying pressure to his spider bites.”
LIKE HUH?

16. Kuroi plans to be the perfect “wife.”
Harlow plans to be disobedient “wife.”

17. Kuroi tries to be “the perfect wife” by cooking a casserole for Dante and then throws the casserole in his face.
Harlow buys a whole new wardrobe rearranging his bedroom.

18. Dante doesnt like makeup on Kuroi and spanks him for not washing it off when told so.
Harlow throws a wooden spoon at Benito for ignoring him and Benito spanks him for doing so.

19. Kuroi wants to go to work with Dante and Dante doesn’t think his family will accept Kuroi feminine clothing choice and sexuality or something (man I got bored and started skimming the book.)
Benito’s family doesnt care about the couples sexuality.

20. Kuroi and Dante is into the bdsm lifestyle randomly.
Harlow and Benito relationship doesn’t involve bdsm.

21. Dante quickly falls in love with Kuroi after a bdsm session.
Benito and Harlow’s relationship takes time and they eventually fall in love.

22. Dante and Kuroi has dinner with his brother talking about the family business.
Benito and Harlow have dinner with their family talking about the wedding.

23. For some reason Dante makes Kuroi call his sister when getting spanked as he roleplays as a priest randomly?? (AI generated text again I believe. It feels so out of place of the story)
Context: “I said call Kuroi's sister! You know the number, right?”
“Yes, sir,” I replied embarrassed for Shiro.
“Kuroi told you to do whatever I told you to, didn't he?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Then do as I say and call Yuki now.”
I didn't know what was going on, but I did it. I reached forward, called Yuki and prayed that she didn't answer.
“Hello?” She said before jerking back at the site of Shiro filling the screen.
“Hello, my name is Shiro and I was told to call you.”
As soon as I said it, I felt the paddle connect with my bare ass harder than I could have ever have imagined. The sound was deafening. Hearing it, Yuki reacting in horror.
I was shocked at what was happening. I was embarrassed. In all of the years I had played these types of games, I had never experienced anything like this. But before I could react, I felt the paddle again.
Hearing the second, this time Yuki was calm. Her stoicism was back.
“Are you being disciplined, Shiro?” she asked as if asking me what I had had for breakfast.
“Yes, ma'am. I am.”
Dante let loose again. The sting was so intense my legs danced. Still, my face never left the screen.
“Are you learning to submit to your superiors?” she asked taking a harsher tone.
“Yes, ma'am. I am.” Dante struck again. I closed my eyes trying to absorb the sensation.
“Don't close your eyes. Look at me,” she ordered as if she were a part of this.
I did as I was told.
“Good. Now, you will be obedient...”
Another strike.
“You will be submissive...”
Another strike.
“And you will do what you are told to do.”
Another strike.
“Yes, maam.”
“Don't let this have to happen again,” she said ending the call.

LIKE HUH??? And it’s never mentioned again…

24. In the end they find out it’s the sister that was trying to kill Dante as she done to all of Kuroi’s pimps out of “love” or something and then she dies.
I won’t spoil the ending to Say I Do as their storyline is written better, plotlines and flushed actually finished, story is easily paced and not a jumbled mess of text.

Review
Will rewrite this review later (probably never). These are my immediate thoughts!!

-1 STAR READ. Ending was rushed so bad I now have headache.

Uh, I never had a book where they left an authors note wanting you to leave the book immediately, go to a sketchy website just to see an AI alternative ending of that chapter. That’s some picture story game app, ass fuckery tf

Also, this author is very disrespectful to the Japanese culture.

This story was poorly written. Maybe I’m biased since I took Brea and Skyler’s side first but I do see the obvious similarities between both books.

One minute this Dante guy is hating on his husband Kuroi, if it’s not from his clothes it’s his makeup or thinking he’ll embarrass him infront of his family. It’s a whole mess. The plot moves all over the place.
Many story plotlines are rushed quickly. You don’t get much context about any of the family or world around the book. The couple isn’t really established.
The mystery of the book is basically solved immediately.
The couple don’t talk about their feelings or any of the situations really meant to be happening in the story much either. It just goes bam, bam, bam, the end.

I don’t think this story was written in fully written in AI but I do think some AI of sorts was used in creating the plots and scenarios. It was very rushed and jumbled garbage. Many scenes were taken from the book Say I Do.

Hopefully in the future this author can think of original plots and stories to publish.

Good grief and good day.

Not the first time I've come across a story that I've read before by someone totally different, plagiarism seems easy for some in these ebooks. I didn't discover that this was one until I'd read most of it, I hadn't read the original. People that are lazy enough and brazen enough to steal others works should be banned from GR. That said I loved the story and the push and pull between Kuroi and Dante, my praise for such an intense, amazing story should go to the other authors.

This was really bad, like really bad. Immediately we're feminizing Asian men, as if the world doesn't already do that. Conversations between Kuroi and his family regularly talk about their Japanese heritage and little else. The homophobia is here. Dante feels like he has the personality of a dry sponge and Kuroi feels like he has the personality of a wet one. The mafia doesn't actually enter into the story.

It seems like the author is a bit of a problem. Apparently a portion of some of the author's works are AI assisted. But more importantly this is vastly/mostly plagiarized. The author plugs their website IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR BOOK by telling us about the AI chatbots on the site and on the patreon for the alternate sex scenes.

At one point I was asking myself if this was AI written because once Kuroi started to stab Dante he started to refer to a woman that hadn't been in that scene. I had to reread that passage a few times to grasp that this woman, Black Widow, was Kuroi. I'd assumed the AI had forgotten what was going on. Later on Kuroi manifests a new personality right before a "kinky" sex scene. That scene becomes really fucked up because Dante forces Kuroi to facetime his sister during it and she plays along in the discipline. This isn't roleplay on Kurio's part, the author has decided to give him DID and it's really gross and inappropriate. The DID wasn't explained, which is fine, but I assume it's because Kuroi was forced into sex work as a teenager which, ignoring how horrible that is, that's past the age when DID would develop.

When someone else entered the balcony, I had a pretty good guess about what was going on. I don’t know who it fuckin’ was, but that fucker was wearing a Japanese wedding dress. I recognized that shit. And they were carrying a bouquet.

Kuroi was a him. I had seen him before. Brown skin. Delicate hands. And… oh shit, those fuckin’ eyes. I was staring into Kuroi’s eyes.

And, what was with him wearing that dress? Yeah, he looked as hot as fuck in it. But if I was marrying a man, shouldn’t he act like a man? I mean, having sex with a man is one thing. Guys have things that women don’t. But, weren’t men supposed to act like men?
Goddamn did he look hot in that dress, though. As male brides go, I must have had the hottest one to ever live. Unwrapping that gift would be the highlight of my life. I got hard just thinking about it.

“Hello, your wife is home,” I informed him giving him a second chance.
He glanced back at me again.
“All I see is a boy dressed up in women’s clothes.”

It was then that my mind floated to another place. It was there that I realized that I hadn’t properly accessorized. I had thought bringing my knives too garish considering my form fitting suit. So, sprinting across the room before my husband could open the fridge, I borrowed one of his from the butcher’s block.
I would like to say that there was a reason I chose the one I did, but I was no longer the one in control. The Black Widow had taken over and it seemed that she didn’t feel the way I did about the new man in my life.
With a quick strike, she plunged the paring knife into the back of my husband’s thigh. I didn’t expect to hear him scream. He had to know it was coming, didn’t he? Hadn’t he practically begged for it?
None the less, the poke woke him up. Still, I expected him to be quicker. Before he turned around, she had gotten him again. This time in the side. She did have a soft spot for him though, because she missed his organs. It was more of a Prince Albert entering one side and coming out the other.

With his hands tightening around her neck, I saw the life return to his eyes. He had chosen madness. It was glorious to see. The sight of it ushered the Black Widow away and brought me back.

“But you were stubborn. Like petrified bamboo, you would not bend. That is why he made you kagema. It was to teach you your place. It was to help you.”

Could I submit to the extent my sister had? Probably not. Yuki had made it an art form. In every way she was a proper Japanese. And what was I?
No matter. It wasn’t what I was. It was what I could become. I would become my sister.
I would lower my eyes when men spoke. I would bow in the presence of my elders. And I would be the perfect wife for a man like Dante Ricci, my husband and superior.

“A kagema was a boy who hadn’t yet lost the beauty of youth. It was with them that a samurai would develop a mentor / apprentice relationship.”
“Okay,” I asked unsure where this was going. “And this has to do with Kuroi how?”
“Our father designated that Kuroi be such a kagema.”
I leaned in trying to understand what Yuki was saying.
“Sato made Kuroi one of these, what do you call them?”
“Kagema.”
“And what did being a kagema involve?”
It was only then that Yuki’s eyes dipped.

“How do I get Kuroi to not kill me?” I asked bluntly.
Yuki took more sips allowing the silence to draw out. I was starting to believe that she was done speaking when she volunteered.
“Kuroi has always responded to a firm hand.”
“A firm hand?”
“Kuroi must know his place.”
“His place?”
“Mi no hodo wo shiru. Do you know what that means?”
“How the fuck would I know that?”
“It means, to know your place is to know yourself. Kuroi doesn’t yet know his place in this world. Perhaps with a strong hand, like yours, he will.”

“I have let you get away with some crazy shit since you’ve been here, but no more. From now on, you will do what I tell you to do, and nothing more. Do you understand me?”
I was… confused. Listening to him speak, a wave of heat washed through me. It was a rush.
“And, if I don’t?” I challenged.
He stared at me unflinchingly.
“Then you will be punished.”
My breath hitched. My heart raced.
“I would like to see you try.”

Ever since the age of 14 when my father gave me to a business partner as a signing bonus, I’ve had problems sleeping. It started off as not being able to stay asleep. I was never able to figure out why, but I’ve narrowed it down to two things. Either it was because I was sleeping in a new bed, or because I was woken up every night by an old man pushing his cock into my ass. It remains a mystery.

That’s when it hit me. Dante had never seen me with my bush of hair slicked back. With it, I passed as what I was, Japanese. What could be more obedient and submissive than that?
Using my thickest hair gel, I pushed it through my hair until every curl was gone. Next, I applied mascara until my wide eyes slanted and the creases in my eyelids faded. I wasn’t prepared for who I saw in the mirror when I was done.
Kuroi was gone. Sitting before me was the boy my father would have had if not for my mother’s blackness. Would my father have loved this version of me? Would he have given this son to his business partners to use and dispose of?

“Are you being disciplined, Shiro?” she asked as if asking me what I had had for breakfast.
“Yes, ma’am. I am.”
Dante let loose again. The sting was so intense my legs danced. Still, my face never left the screen.
“Are you learning to submit to your superiors?” she asked taking a harsher tone.
“Yes, ma’am. I am.”
Dante struck again. I closed my eyes trying to absorb the sensation.
“Don’t close your eyes. Look at me,” she ordered as if she were a part of this.
I did as I was told.
“Good. Now, you will be obedient…”
Another strike.

I was ready to write a completely different review just to find out that this was plagiarized using ai! That really does explain a lot of the problems. But then on top of that, to include multiple advertisements for an ai chat with a character and extra scenes within the chapters of the book? If you want me to read it, write it into the story. Or even better, write the story yourself.

This reading slump has taken everything from me however, I have finally finished a book without dnf’ing it. But at what cost ?

I'm confused. I'm so confused. The ending... who, what, when, why and how? I will admit I giggled a few times during this book. But I was mostly scratching my head in confusion. The dead girl and the guy that killed her, the dad, Vinny, Matteo, Yuki? Again who, what, when, where, why and how ?

When did they become lovers? What was with all the random mood swings and attempted murders with no sort of explanation (and they weren’t even the haha kick your feet and giggle attempted murder scenes). Dante gave nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero. Kuroi had better characterisation but lacked depth. Neither MMC's had a good foundation, backgrounds, development etc. The book was rushed but so slow at the same time. And that FaceTime scene with Yuki? Yeah I need to bleach bath my brain and pluck my nerves.

The best way I can describe this book is “ I had the plan i just needed the platform” but reversed. The platform being kindle but no plan ?!!?!

I have not read this read, but other readers were claiming it was plagiarized from a book titled "Say I Do." So, I went and looked at the blurbs for each book to compare them, and they are remarkably similar. The first is this book, and the second is the blurb from "Say I Do."

"What do you get when you marry a calculating mobster to the infamous "Black Widow" of the yakuza?

A union soaked in blood and betrayal.

I never expected to be getting married, especially not to the most dangerous figure in the Sato family. But when a chance to strengthen our family's grip on New York's underworld presents itself, I know I can't refuse."

.............................................................

"What do you get when you mix a mobster with the son of the yakuza?

A marriage bathed in blood.

I never expected to be getting married, but when a business opportunity lands in my lap, I know I have to take it."

Sunday’s Story Spotlight: Black Widow’s Kiss

Not all love stories live in the light. Some thrive in shadows — and Black Widow’s Kiss is one of them. This dark M/M mafia romance draws you into a world where power and passion collide, where every kiss feels like a risk and every touch could change everything.

The story is addictive, balancing gritty stakes with raw, undeniable chemistry. The romance is just as dangerous as the world it’s set in — and that’s what makes it impossible to put down. You’ll find yourself caught between tension and tenderness, danger and devotion, every step of the way. If you’re a fan of high-stakes, emotionally charged, and sinfully dark romance, this book belongs at the very top of your TBR.

Dnf. At chapter two

Couldn’t get into it, I don’t think the writing style is for me.
The plot reminds me alot of the vitale brothers “say i do”. Has the same sort of opening intro for the love interest too, being tied up and gaged, etc.

Edit: okay so looking at other reviews my thoughts of it being the same plot as ‘say i do’ might be correct. Apparently this book is a copy of say i do put through AI? Not sure if that's true but it definitely felt like it was. If it is true, that’s a really shitty thing to do to another author.

While I don't have actual proof, and I hate to accuse a writer of this, I can definitely see how the plagiarism allegations came to be. I really liked the version of the characters Alex came up with, but im barely 20 pages into Brea & Skylar's work and can already tell BWK was HEAVILY "influenced" by Say I Do. 😬

***Original Review***
This was too short. I need more. I need to know how Dante secures his empire, and watch Kuroi grow into the Mafia Empress he deserves to be. ASAP.

Widow

I will give this book a 4/5. I enjoyed reading it. I will say that it is an unusual book for me. Dante and Kuroi come from rival crime families. One of Dante's brothers kills the wrong man and there is the threat of war between the families. Dante agrees to marry Kuroi even though he is a man to bring the families together. At the ceremony someone tries to kill Dante. Dante thinks it maybe his new husband. This book has some twists.

Fantastic! Was expecting something else and genuinely surprised it doesn't exist!

Loved the story even if the first couple of chapters had me seeing a ghost.
But like a million other romance books they all have similar lines.
This book turned out to be a fantastic surprise. Loved it and am off to see if this author has more!

What you do for love of a tight ride

I thought this was going to be predictable.
Well I was wrong, both characters were completely different from each other, but the love surprisingly was strong. Dante is true and lovable man that knows what he wants.
I love his strength. I love this story. Thank you
