I was not supposed to survive.
Six bullets should have ended it all, finally giving me the peace I was chasing. Instead, I was dragged back out of my grave, just to be hunted by enemies, abandoned by the one person I care about, and pursued by a man I want nothing to do with.
Lamb did not save my life out of kindness. He is determined to claim every broken part of me, tearing down my defenses and forcing me to face the fire I try to snuff out. He does not care about the darkness closing in around me; he only cares about one making me his. And he will stop at nothing to make it happen.

Ash can run, fight, and pretend she doesn't feel our connection, but I’ve waited long enough. The danger chasing her doesn’t scare me. I’ll burn down anyone who threatens her. The only thing that matters is showing Ash that no matter what demons haunt her, she’s not alone anymore.
I’ll bet my life on it. Because losing her isn’t an option, and I’ll be damned if I let her slip through my fingers again.

Ash and Lamb
This was a gripping dark and gritty story that spoke of revenge with two damaged people. Ash and Lamb’s story is one that takes hold and won’t let you go.

I had been waiting for this book for so long. And since it dropped on my kindle I really couldn't put it down. Different from the other books of the series, but still just as enjoyable. Although in wolf's book Ash was my least favourite character, I really liked her in this one. Some parts, however, were a little repetitive. Overall a great read

Beyond Engaging
I loved this emotionally charged tale. Ash and Lamb are just such wonderfully flawed but perfect.characters. We get to finally see into Ash's entire past and get to.know Lamb in all his complexity. This book will capture you heart and soul.

Almost like it was written by someone else
By far the most disappointing of the four books to date in this series. Page after page of internal dialogue and psychological machinations. Too much time spent on the inner workings of alcohol detox... so many words and yet nothing of substance to come of it. The few amusing parts (such as Ash comparing Lamb to a robot needing a software update) were lost in the tangle of SO MANY OTHER WORDS.
To top off the unsatisfying story and the way it was woven, we end with a disappointing final chapter and a couple of epilogues that explain nothing.

This is the fourth book in this impressive series, and this is Lamb and Ash’s story, and they are both haunted by past demons.
This is a well written story which is raw, gritty, and intense, with enemies / lovers, survival, revenge, resilience, captor / captive, emotions, danger, suspense, intrigue, and is an enjoyable, haunting, tragic, unpredictable, and a dark compelling page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

It took me a while to get into this, but the story is intense and gripping. The characters are haunted by past traumas, and the emotional stakes are high. The blend of danger, resilience, and raw emotion kept me hooked, especially the relentless determination and the deep, complicated connection driving the narrative. A dark, compelling read that stays with you.

Thank god finally finished. It was a very hard and long read full of nonsense dialogue for nothing.

3.5…To say Ash has been through a lot is a major understatement. She has been to hell and back and it’s not getting any better. Lamb is using Ash to his advantage for so many reasons and he is keeping his motorcycle club out of it…for now. This is a dark story about revenge, fighting for yourself..if you want to or not and everything in between. This story is very layered with characters with dark stories being told.
