Plot: 4/5 • Smut: 4/5 —————> I fucking knew Luna was corrupted. I fucking knew as soon as she was found and we hear not much about her backstory or her time trapped that she wasn’t going to be a blow to them. And Quinn. Somethings wrong with her as was unfolded, but we don’t get anything more. It’s left unresolved. Wonder who infiltrated her. Ends on a huge cliffy.

I literally cannot say enough nice things about how truly awesome this series is. If you haven't checked it out yet, let this be your sign to. Book two of the Cerberus series kicks off immediately following book one. Matteo, Declan, and Akio continue their strenuous relationship with Fallon. The hunt for justice against the evil and corrupt continues and the plot legitimately thickens!! Relationships grow and alliances are tested. The dynamics in this book were 🔥 The banter was delightful! Chapter 13 and Chapter 18 had me ready to cry, scream, and throw up; I'll be damned! Was ready to throw hands with H.M. Slade. "One heartbeat. That’s how long it takes for this newfound happiness to reach its end." Not to mention that CLIFFHANGER!?!? I need book three IMMEDIATELY.
Akio, the sweet tortured king 👑 "I probably wouldn't even notice my heart stopping and the reaper approaching because she consumes me. Her smell, her touch, her taste; she is everything."
Declan, the mischievous protector 😈 “You’re the light in the darkness that has consumed most of my life. Wherever you are, as long as I’m with you, then I’m home.”
Matteo, the hot troubled leader 🫠 "Nothing but the need to defend, the need to kill and kill and kill until all threats against her are destroyed runs through me, like a song in my veins. They came for her. Came to end the rest of us. But our story doesn’t end here. It can’t. I won’t allow it."
Fallon is back with her masked men ready to uncover all the secrets of her father's business that may be an undercover human trafficking operation. There is no end to the enemies that seem to be plaguing her and her three counterparts. From a disgruntled ex-employee to Fallon's creepy COO and straight into more shady men threatening to hurt her. The secrets that they are left to uncover seem to run rampant as Fallon uncovers more and more ties to her family and their evil activities. Will they be able to stop Fallon's father from selling more and more men and women for profit? And when they all find something they had been looking for for years will they no longer have a use for each other?
This book dragged a little for me. I found myself contemplating letting it drop and moving onto another book to potentially go back to it later on. I am not sure what gave me that impulse because when I was actually reading the book I was fully engaged. I think I am struggling to keep all the secrets and good or bad roles straight. One minute a person is good, the next they're evil. The next they're victims, and then they're the perpetrator. Fallon's family are involved, they're not involved. The company being taken over may lead to a different head of the trafficking operation or they may have gotten it right from the start. It just seems to jump all over the place as it starts to attempt to uncover secrets. But none of them are fully exposed which left me feeling incredibly frustrated. Could I just get a few straight answers, please? I just want to have some idea of what is going on and who to trust and who not to. Add to that the fact that there was added tension between characters that didn't actually need to be there. Perhaps later in the story the true reason for that animosity will be revealed but as it sat in this book I could only shake my head and mutter a "why" while I was reading.
It wasn't all bad. I did like the budding relationships forming. They inch had a different type of bond with Fallon and complimented her in different ways. Although Matteo got on my damned nerves all the time. It was like he was programmed to be an asshole and didn't know how to override his system to actually be a pleasant human being to Fallon. I think the only one who didn't push Fallon away at least once or twice was Declan, which is why he steadfastly remains my favorite.
I will have to wait to pass complete judgment on the book series as a whole until more of the plethora of secrets is revealed. As it stands there are far too many secrets and I have no idea how the author is going to tie them all together. As I do have hope for the series, I will be rating the book a mid-score. It was decent but I am hopeful for a little more revelations and a lot less questions circling within my mind in the next and final book in the trilogy.
I absolutely devoured this book. I never thought this one would get better than the first but wow it did in so many ways. The first book ended leaving you wanting more and a wtf have I just read. Well you get your answers and more. The banter between the MMCs and the FMC shifts due to what happened in the first book - Capture Me if you haven't read it which I highly recommend you do before you read this one. There is so much to this book that I can't tell you anymore about it without giving spoilers away. Cerberus are still intent on making their home town a safe space and bringing down anyone and everyone connected to the horrors that are going on hidden away from the locals. There is still the spice from the first book so you won't be disappointed. I'm not sure which book I prefer. The first one has got lots going on from the get go and this one seems to go more in depth within the main storyline. Don't get me wrong there are still plenty shocks and action to keep you gripped from page one. Again my only fault was it ended. This is my new auto buy author and a series I will reread again and again. Will never stop recommending it. Get out there and buy the books asap. You won't be disappointed. I need the next one ASAP A
Wow, just wow! This series just keeps getting better and better.
This book started out right after the first book left off where the main FMC, Fallon, wakes up not knowing who she can trust, including the 3 guys she's fallen in love with , Akio, Teo, and Dec.
This book finds some things resolved but, leaves more questions (which I cant wait to find out the answers to in the next book).
Fallon and her guys really grow in this book. The guys learn to really open up to her and rebuild on the trust they had and learn to rely on each other more.
Regarding one of the main antagonists in this series, Clay, man I really hope there's a not so happy ending in this story for him. He is one bad egg for sure!
I'm hoping that Fallon and her guys have the HEA they so deserve but, just know the cliffy is a doozy on this one!
There's very little I didn't love about the book. Cerberus wasn't as active this time around but with all of the drama and suspense I failed to notice. I'm dying to know how this ends! The main characters bring out the best and worst in each other. Seeing how protective all four of them are of each other is astounding. Watching the men want to be the best they can be is amazing character growth. Watching each one lower his walls and letting love in turned these dark morally grey men into light grey. And seeing Fallon hone in on her inner bad bitch who is confident and realizes that the only opinions that matter are her partners and her best friend. I'm dying for answers and I need book 3, I need to know what happens and how this ends!!
The previous cliffhanger was intense. I loved this book. I now just have more questions and anxiety now because of this ending, ahhh. Literally almost threw my kindle omgggg.
I love these men. I did want to scream at them a few times but I do love them. We learn more about them and their pasts. I loved how the relationships developed and how the men opened up to Fallon. There’s a lot that happened this book it’s very fast paced!!
𝚃𝚑𝚎𝚜𝚎 𝚖𝚎𝚗 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚎.
The spice was of course fantastic! I adore Fallon so much, she’s one of my favorite fmcs. I am absolutely loving this series and can’t wait for more.
What in the actual… this series still has me in a chokehold and cannot wait for the third. Picking up where we left in the first book and continuing their story, Fallon is such a badass. I swear I fall more and more for the guys each time I read and as the story goes on (the stubborn oblivious bastards piss me off too!) the plot twist and betrayal from people they trust… ugh I had so much hope for a minute but ya know things got sketchy and I had a feeling what was coming. Cannot wait for the third book!
OMG?!?!?! H.M. Slade I love you and your books, but why do you do this to us lol?!?! This was another great book with an ending that has me desperately waiting for Book 3 to find out what happens next. I’m loving this series and these characters so much. Fallon is so strong and independent, and I loved that we got to see her and Quinn doing their own thing some in this book. It was also great to see the guys working on their relationships and opening up more. Please hurry up and release the next book because I need to know what happens next!!!!
OMG!!! This cliff hanger is insane and I need January 31st to get here like ASAP!!
I will say I saw the Jonsey thing coming. It had to be someone they trusted implicitly, and they spoke so highly of him throughout book 1 and 2! Also, I hope Luna is dead after turning on her brother's like that!! I know she was a victim, but she could have had a better life, and she chose to betray the people who loved her most!! Screw that!
Anyway I loved Capture me and Bind Me so much and I can't wait for the next book!

So, book 2 started with a run and just kept going until the end. I love it and have so many thoughts I want to share about it but don’t want to give anything away. The guys past relationship with their sister definitely blinds them to suspicious behaviors that they would have noticed in anyone else. It proves that sometimes family bonds can blind you from the truth. I have already downloaded the 3rd book and am ready to binge read. Who needs sleep?
Bind Me picks up almost exactly where we left off in Capture Me. There was a lot of unresolved turmoil, but HM Slade makes up for it in this book.
Not only do we see Fallon and her men reconcile and grow stronger bonds, we see Fallon and Quinn being bad asses on their own and not taking anything lying down.
I didn’t trust so many people in this book and the ending has me screaming and debating launching my kindle into the sun. The cliffhanger is no joke and I’ve never been more relieved in my life to know book 3 won’t be far behind.
I ate this book up and I’m so grateful for HM Slade sending me an arc!
Woah! This book was so good! I loved reading more of Fallon and her deliciously dark men. Fallon continues to grow and take no crap in this installment. The men are just so great to read. I don’t think I can pick a favorite member of this harem!
Only thing I didn’t like was the fact that the three big twists were very predictable.
Check TWs and ends on a major cliffhanger! I hope Quinn gets her own series next.
Oh my goodness! The drama, action, and suspense that is this book is one that will have you on the edge of your seat. We see so much throughout this one. There are shocking moments that really you didn’t see coming. I love how the relationships are developing in this one. It is extremely well written and developed. But, we get to the end in this one and we are left with an extremely major cliffhanger. I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens next.
Luna ┻┻︵ヽ(`Д´)ノ︵┻┻... Okay now that I got that out of my system. It's an enjoyable read, ends in a cliff hanger. Our FMC goes through emotional ups and downs. The beginning mimics the ending almost like the intro was a foreshadowing to what was to come; except where she awakes in a locked isolated basement room at the start, in the end she wakes in a room in chains.

Things definitely picked up in this book and had me hooked until the end. The character growth was fantastic and I loved watching the relationship between Fallon and her men strength. Enjoyed the plot twist even though they were predictable for me. The cliffhanger has my blood boiling and so ready to find out what awaits in book 3.
The character development was great in this book, although it took Teo a little longer to work out the kinks than I had hoped. I was disappointed by the oversight of the main characters in regards to betrayals that were, frankly, obvious. That being said, these boys have my heart and I enjoyed the book. Time to start the next one!
This was so good with the focus mainly on the relationship between fallon and her guys and them trying to atone for their many misteps from both book 1 and this book. I wasn't surprised by who betrayed them at the end but damnnnnn that was a horrible cliff!! Thank god i don't have to wait for book 3!!
This woman and her cliff hangers!!!!!! Such a good book. Fmc is really finding herself through her traumas and re claiming herself and her needs. Absolutely love the string fmc vibe going on. So much to unwrap when answers to the first were revealed but now I got more questions thankfully though I don’t have to wait for book three😁.
Bind Me will rock your world!!! Raw, twisted, dark and dirty. Book two is filled with surprises. You don't want to miss out on Fallon and Cerberus story. That ending though!!! Book three like now!!! Please.
I sure this book up just like the first. I’m so invested in these characters it’s crazy. The twists this author sneaks in are phenomenal. Absolutely love this series!
Spiciiiiier than book 1, a bit darker, still liking it a lot. None of the big surprises were all that surprising. I think that there are mega parallels to Haunting Adeline but I like this a lot more.
