I really enjoyed My Only One, and getting more backstory into these characters rounds them out and their relationship even more. Great prequel and a little look into the series.

This is the prequel to the Fortunato Family Series of books. Esme and her parents move to their Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood in New York City from Columbia. The Fortunato clan befriends Esme and Ivy and her become best friends. As they get older, Esme’s feelings for Shane deepen. Christopher, Ivy’s twin, knows of her feelings. One day while in line at Fiero’s Bakery, Clare, the mom to the Fortunato clan invites Esme over for cake to celebrate Shane. Shane has enlisted in the Army. Will Esme now have to find a new love interest? Grab your copy and read all about the Fortunato family, as they grow up. I look forward to reading more in this series.
