On paper he reads like Mr. Wrong, but under the mistletoe he feels so right…

Determined to ensure her sister’s wedding is storybook perfect, Isabelle Davis secretly hires Army Veteran Zach Dawson to locate her estranged father. But the more time she spends with Zach surrounded by Christmas spirit and twinkling lights, Isabelle fears she’s falling in love. Can she trust her heart to a man whose past seems so similar to her absent father’s?

Zach Dawson proudly served his country for twelve years until an injury ended his military career. He holds his secrets close, but he’ll help Isabelle find her father—even if the man doesn’t want to be found. And if he’s also sewing up a storm at Isabelle’s quilt shop, and appreciating every moment spent with her, it doesn’t have to mean anything, much.

Unless he can somehow persuade Isabelle to take a chance on love? That’s a mission he’s eager to accept.

This is an incredibly touching and heartfelt Christmas novel. I’ve loved every book in this series. They are all filled with love and friendship, even a bit of heartache. The tribute paid to veterans in these books is amazing.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book, given to me by Tule Publishing via BookFunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
A wonderful, and very enjoyable to read story, featuring a charmer hiding a deep-set pain and a strong-willed heroine reluctant to love, “Wrapped Up in Christmas Love”, by Janice Lynn, takes plane in the lovely setting of festive Pine Hill.
I loved how strength and vulnerability are present in Zach’s character; the “incorrigible flirt”, the charmer, the teaser, the confident former military and now iSecure professional is also the haunted, lost man, feeling worthless and unloved by his own family.

I loved how the hero is so surprisingly thoughtful and sensitive behind the teasing façade and the “wicked sense of humor”.
I also adored Isabelle’s reluctance, almost antagonism sometimes, towards Zach and how annoyed she feels whenever she finds they have a lot in common.
She sees him as a “here-today, gone-tomorrow military man”. She wants to give in but is afraid because of her family history. She’s apparently tough but has a fragile core, too.
The heroine can come across as too stubborn, even in her insistence of carrying the load by herself.
I liked the quilting as part of the therapy aspect and adored the interactions between Zack and baby Jeannie.
The small-town atmosphere and the secondary characters are enjoyable, too.

Wrapped Up in Christmas Love is the first book I’ve read by new Tule author Janice Lynn. This was the fourth book in her series. It seemed like it could be read as a stand alone book. I believe many of the characters were familiar to people who had read the earlier books but I didn’t have a problem joining in later. The book was well written with a lot of heartwarming characters. This story features Isabelle Davis who along with her sister Sophie own a Quilt Shop in the town of Pine Hills, Kentucky. As the book opens, it is right before Thanksgiving and the people are getting ready for the holiday season. Sophie is getting married the week before Christmas to her boyfriend Cole who is former military. We also meet Zach Dawson, an army veteran who is staying with one of his buddies and his wife while he recovers from injuries in service.

Isabelle doesn’t want to be around military or former military guys. Her dad was a veteran who abandoned his family when she was a child. She stepped up to help care for her mother and baby sister. She has never forgotten what he did or forgiven him for leaving. Sophie has announced that her fondest wish is to have her dad walk her down the aisle. Although Isabelle doesn’t like the idea she decides to try and find her dad. Her friends suggest she ask Zach to look since he has skills in that type of work. Zach agrees to help Isabelle and tells her he will exchange it for private sewing lessons. He senses chemistry between them and has fun teasing her. She makes it clear she doesn’t like him and explains about her not wanting to have a relationship with someone who is military. In order that no one know what they are doing, they agree to be pretend boyfriend and girlfriend. The two spend a lot of time together and Isabelle fights off her growing attraction to Zach. He doesn’t want a relationship either because he fears things in his past hurting himself or those he loves. There is a lot of suspense as the couple look for the missing dad. Zach isn’t sure what his future will hold.

This book reminded me of a Hallmark movie, everyone is so sweet and nice and there’s fun Christmas activities going on. I enjoyed it a lot and am happy to have discovered this author. I’ve given it 4 stars and I highly recommend this holiday sweet romance.

I was fortunate to receive this ARC from Tule Publishing in exchange for my honest review.

Wrapped Up in Christmas Love gives us a small-town holiday romance that’s way more layered than just twinkle lights and snowflakes. This one is all about family wounds, trust issues, and two people who didn’t expect to get tangled up in each other’s lives — but kind of can’t help it.

Isabelle is a woman on a mission — literally. Her sister’s wedding is coming up fast, and she’s determined to give her sister a storybook Christmas wedding, no matter what it takes. That includes one tiny, not-so-tiny thing: secretly hiring Army veteran Zach Dawson to help her find the father who walked out on them years ago. And listen, Isabelle is stubborn, but that stubbornness is masking a whole lot of pain and fear about what bringing her dad back into the picture might mean.

Then there’s Zach. He’s done twelve years in the Army, and now that he’s home, he’s working hard at not getting close to anyone. The man is basically allergic to talking about his feelings. But he agrees to help Isabelle (because of course he does), and before either of them knows it, he’s spending more time in her quilt shop than anywhere else. And yes — watching a tough Army vet sewing and softening? Instant win. The chemistry is there from the start, but what I loved most is that this is a slow burn. It’s two people who are trying so hard to focus on the task at hand — finding Isabelle’s father — and not on how much they’re clearly falling for each other.

And let’s talk about that emotional layer. Isabelle is carrying serious abandonment issues, and Zach’s secretive past makes her question whether he’s really different from her dad. Meanwhile, Zach is dealing with his own doubts about whether he’s even worthy of someone like Isabelle — so it’s not just flirty banter and small-town cuteness (though there is plenty of that). It’s two people learning what it means to trust someone new when the past has taught them to expect disappointment.

Final verdict? 4 out of 5 stars — this one hit all the emotional notes I wanted, with just enough tension to keep me rooting for them. It definitely works as a standalone, but if you’ve read other books in this world, you’ll appreciate the return to familiar faces and places. Spice level? Low — this one’s all about the feels, not the heat. But honestly, with everything these two are working through, it fits.

4 1/2 stars

This is a sweet story of family, friends, and a most unlikely romance. In the small town of Pine Hill, Kentucky, Isabelle Davis is rushing to get everything done before her younger sister Sophie’s wedding; it’s scheduled for just before Christmas. Between that, the approaching holiday, and running the quilt shop she owns with that same sister, she’s got her hands full. While running an errand, her “to do” list for Sophie’s wedding somehow flies out of her planner. As she tries to recapture it, a stranger steps in and rescues it for her. He’s cocky and confident, and worse, he’s military. Isabelle has made a vow to never get involved with a military man. When her sister’s biggest wish for her wedding is to have her father, who abandoned the family years ago, walk her down the aisle, Isabelle swallows her anger and finds someone to track him down.

Zach Dawson is in Pinehill to recover from injuries he suffered while in service. He doesn’t intend to stick around for long, but he’s enjoying visiting with is Army buddy, Bodie, Bodie’s wife, and new baby. When that errant piece of paper floats right to him, he comes face to face with someone who intrigues him. Zach’s been working for a high level security firm, and he’s the one who has the skills Isabelle needs to track down her father, but it comes at a cost.

This is a sweet enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity romance. I loved Isabelle and the Butterflies, a group of older women who are delightfully entertaining. Unfortunately, I never could really get into Zach. He just didn’t appeal to me; although, he showed some redeeming characteristics toward the end of the book. Despite that, this is still a lovely tale.

This is book four in the Wrapped Up in Christmas Love series, but it’s the first that I’ve read. It worked perfectly as a standalone, providing everything I needed to know to enjoy the book. This book includes discussions of abandonment, fake dating, mental health and PTSD, Quilts of Valor, and that lovely fairytale atmosphere that you can only find in small town fiction. If you enjoy small town Christmas romances that include members of the military, I think you’ll find this book an enjoyable read.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the publisher, Tule. I thank all involved for their generosity, but it had no effect on this review. All opinions in this review reflect my true and honest reactions to reading this book.

This is one of those heart warming stories like you see on Hallmark that leave you feeling good and smiling. It is also the story of how Isabelle and Zach came to love each other despite their differences or beliefs.

Isabella's sister is getting married very soon and she would love for her dad to be there at the wedding to walk her down the aisle. The only problem is that he left the family over 20 years ago and they have not heard from him since. Isabella Davis has made it her job to take care of Sophie since their dad, Cliff had left all of those years ago and she would do what she could to find their dad now. Isabella and Sophie own and operate a quilt store and make the most beautiful quilts. They have classes you can take too if you want to learn to make a quilt.

Zack Dawson is an army veteran and proudly served his country for 12 years until an injury ended his career. Isabella does not want anything to do with a military person as her dad was one. Zack has worked with a friend of his finding people and private investigation work, so she hires him to find her dad. And Zach swears he will bring him back even if he does not want to come. Zach fears that Cliff must have some problems with PTSD and that is what had kept him away.

Zach has been learning to quilt from his friends wife and now he will be taking lessons with Isabella. The more they work together and spend time with each other the closer they become. Zach needs to persuade Isabelle to take a chance on love and he is just the man to do it.

Extremely well written, full of the Christmas cheer. Does have a sad note to it but when the end comes all ends up just fine. Has love, regrets, family, PTSD, drama, romance and lots of Christmas spirits. Isabelle is pert owner of a fabric store where she and her sister, Sophie share the store. Sophie will be getting married and wants to have her father walk her down the aisle but the only problem is he has disappeared years ago. Zach is heading south to get away for the holidays not wanting to spend it with his family. So he stops to visit one of his buddies that he works with and that he was in the service with. It's there he meets Isabelle and becomes involved with her. He finds out that she is looking for her father and offers to help her but they would have to pretend to be dating. Zach falls hard for her , not wanting to tell her about his PTSD and other issues. So together they look to find her father and so their feelings develop. Has lots of witty banter between the characters, each giving their best, loved the Butterflys. Amazing read and a great happily ever after. Would recommend to everyone.

Isabella and Zach’s Story . . .

Isabella Davis' sister Sophie is getting married and, like most young women, she would love to have her dad there to walk her down the aisle on this special occasion. But he walked out on the family a long time ago and never made any contact with anyone. So Isabella decides to try to find him and bring him home, if only for this one event. Despite her mistrust and avoidance of men from the military like her father was, she hires Army veteran Master Sergeant Zach Dawson, who had experience with locating missing persons, to find Cliff and bring him home . He already suspects that PTSD may be involved in her father’s disappearance. And as she spends time with Zach and his presence in her quilting store (as quilting had been his chosen therapy to give him something to focus on while he recovered from his injuries) she begins to feel an attraction to him that she would prefer to avoid. Somehow her firm resistance doesn’t seem to be working well for her this time. Will Zach find her father to make Sophie’s wedding day perfect? And will Zach finally win Isabella’s heart in the process?

Wrapped Up in Christmas Love by Janice Lynn

Publisher Description
On paper he reads like Mr. Wrong, but under the mistletoe he feels so right...

I have not read the other books in this series so I am unsure if they follow on, this is my honest review of book 4.

Wrapped Up in Christmas Love follows Isabelle Davis who owns a Quilt Shop in the town of Pine Hills, Kentucky. Army Veteran Zach Dawson is staying in town while he recovers from his injuries.
Isabelle's sister Sophie is getting married just before Christmas and has confided in Isabelle that she would like their father to walk her down the aisle. The problem was that their father who was in the military went away on service and never came home. So Isabelle hires Zach with his military contacts to help find her father.

I found this book to be written extremely well, with wonderful characters who feel real, and a storyline that draws you in from the start. I loved this book and will be purchasing the others in the series. I highly recommend this book to all and what a lovely cover too:)

First I'd like to thank the author for so eloquently including The Quilts of Valor foundation and the empathetic approach to portraying the realities Military families and servicemen face. Isabelle is a complex character, she'd do anything for her sister, Sophie's happiness including secretly finding their estranged father so he can walk Sophie down the aisle. Isabelle hires Zach with his connections to help in this endeavor. As to not create suspicion Isabelle and Zach pretend to be a couple. As much as she resists Isabelle can't help fall for Zach. Will their relationship work out and will Sophie's dream Wedding come true? This is the first book I've read in this series and I loved the characters (especially the butterflys -entertaining older ladies) so much I plan on reading the rest. If you love heartwarming Christmas romances I recommend spending an afternoon immersing yourself in this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wrapped Up in Christmas Love by Janice Lynn is book four f a lovely series titled, Wrapped Up in Christmas. I have read all the books which stan on their own so read in any order. What all the books have in common are quilts and Veterans who find purpose a along with love. What a darling to find Isabella Davis and Army Veteran Zach Dawson working to find her estranged father. Along the way they find something more for themselves is only Isabella is willing to risk her heart. Zach lost his heart to her early on in the story.

This heartwarming series including Wrapped Up in Christmas Love should become a miniseries for Hallmark or the Family Channel. The writing is so good that it would work for the screen as it is. A truly enjoyable story of Christmas, family and love. Hope that there are more books in the series in the future.

This is not your average Christmas book that will give you the warm fuzzies all the way through it. It has meat to it. There were so many great moments in it that made my heart soar as not only did the Christmas spirit shine through, but the human spirit was a moving display of true and loving humanity at its finest.

As I always expect in a book by this author, the story had true depth. It was not just a fluff piece. Fantastic characters round out this wonderful story that will touch your heart. Forgiveness and getting over seemingly insurmountable hurdles, as well as a woman who would do anything for her sister, all make this a Christmas story you do not want to miss.

Thank you to Tule Publishing for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Another wonderful story in the series. Isabelle aka Izzy, has strong feelings about the military as her Dad disappeared from their family after serving. When her baby sister plans a Christmas wedding and her one wish is to find their father to walk her down the aisle, Izzy works tirelessly to make Sophie's dream come true. She makes a deal with Zach, A veteran who's recuperating in town, and works security. As they face what locating her Dad will mean to everyone, they discover how much they have on common.

These books provide a lot of information about the Quilts of Valor organization and the great work they do on behalf of veterans. Veterans face an uphill battle and the books deal with aftereffects of war in a humbling manner. Sad at times but truly uplifting too!

“Wrapped up in Christmas Love” by Jannice Lynn is such a heartwarming story around the holidays. It features Zach (a veteran) and Isabelle (a shop owner) on their journey through friendship and finding their way to one another. The author does such a good job of sharing their family, friends, conflicts, and joys. This story is well written with wonderful characters, a tribute to veterans, and holiday spirit. Worth the read! This is my first time reading this author and series, but plan to read the rest of the series. I recommend this book. What a wonderful story. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and the characters were very believable.

Zach is quite the flirt. But I think he uses that to cover up his demons. After leaving the military, he is now working for a security company. In the small town of Pine Hill.
Isabelle sees him as a total flirt and for some reason this really bothers her. She finds herself trying to just not interact with him. But when her sister says that she wants their long lost father at her wedding. Isabelle has to work with Zach to find him.

I found this to be a very fun read.

Isabelle has some high walls up and Zach is determined to get through them if only to rile her up. Her sister wants their father found as a wedding gift and Zach has the skills to search for him. But is that what Isabelle wants and will she blame Zach if he succeeds? She holds it against him almost the entire book that he was in military because of her father. There were several funny back and forth moments and I loved the four matchmakers who thought they were so secretly watching everything and planning ways to get Isabelle and Zach together. I loved the cat outfits and snow man themes.

It was fun to see the animosity Isabelle has for Zach even though she hires him to find her father who left her family twenty years ago. Her sister wants her Dad to walk her down the aisle for her wedding. I got to read as she reluctantly hires Zach because of her sister's request even though she really doesn't like military men. Then the fun began as they work through finding him and the twists and turns as their relationship grows. A wonderful book for the Christmas season.

The beautiful cover is what drew me to this book. I was not disappointed. It was a beautiful and entertaining read from start to finish. A heartwarming Christmas military romance. I loved that Isabelle and Zach started out as friends and progressed from friends to more. They had wonderful dialog and were adorable characters that were so easy to love. The quilting and sewing was fun cozy part of the story for me. Zach was a true hero. This was an enjoyable, emotional, sweet romantic read. It was a great story and I loved this book.

The dynamic between the two characters is very strong. There are a few secrets that need to be uncovered. The holidays always in an unexpected twist and especially if there is a wedding involved.

This story will get you right in the heart. What veterans go through is unamanageable when they get home and have to deal with PTSD ,but what there families go through is just as traumatic. This is a story about one of those families. Zach is a veteran, Isabelle is a daughter of a vet , and these two work together to make a wish come true. I really love how these two interact with one another.

Isabelle is incredibly rude, for no reason at all. (I don’t care that she avoids military men because her dad abandoned them because of his ptsd. That doesn’t excuse rudeness!) Then Zack decides that she’s attractive when she’s angry and starts provoking her. It’s really not fun to read at all. I’m not liking the protagonists so I am going to have to bail.

I would like to thank Tule Publishing and Janice Lynn for the E ARC of this book. This is the 4th book in the Wrapped Up In series.
We meet Isabelle who will do virtually anything for her sister, including trying to find their father. This would fulfil a dream of her sisters to have her Dad walk her down the aisle at her wedding.
Inorder to find her father, she secretly asks Zach Dawson to help her. Zach to Isabelle’s mind the most infuriating man she has ever met and is a military man to boot. Zach has been attracted to Isabelle since he bumped into her and spending time with her is very appealing to him. Zach has some secrets of his own that he keeps close.
The more time they spend together the more Isabelle fights against the attraction. Zach reminds her too much of her absent Dad. Can she really trust a military man again?
This was an enjoyable read. I enjoyed the plotline and the characters, however I did find Isabelle a hard character to like when she was with Zach to begin with. I understand that she was fighting her own demons but she was just not nice. I liked the growth and development of both characters. I loved the side characters of Isabelle’s sister, her Mother, her Aunt and the ladies who helped out in the quilt shop. I also really liked that Quilts of Valor also played a big part in this story.
