Debra Webb always writes great suspense novels. This one was a novella followed by another bonus novella by a different author.

The final book in this haunting trilogy

Once again innocent people are targeted which hen reveals that they have been part of an illegally run, horrific genetic testing program that has been running for decades.
The final Meltzer grandson turns up in small town Maine under an alias, obviously. But he is not as clever as he thinks, when Kurt's daughter is kidnapped the evidence left behind makes no sense, as Police Chief it is up to him to unravel the clues and find the truth....but he also uncovers painful secrets too.
Fast paced this novella will keep you hooked as you are pulled into a web of secrets, lies and shiver inducing truths. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

A fantastic story

An intense, complex, and suspenseful thriller that will hook you from beginning to end. It's a definite must read book and series.
I would have given this book 5 stars, but seeing how it's been a very long time since the first two books were released (& since I've read them), this book didn't have the impact that it would have if it'd been available with the others in the series. After reading my reviews for the first two books, I vaguely remembered them, but as I said, it's been a long time since I've read them. Now that they're all available, I would highly encourage you to read them.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.

I wanted so much more!

This third book continues the theme of the mad scientists and the quest to stop them. At first, I just thought this was another murder mystery but it turned out to be much more. However, I hope there will be a book four coming soon because these stories are much too good to stop now.

Not a bad story

I would have liked the book a lot better had it not had so many typos. Just how difficult is it to have someone proofread and find the gaffs? Overall it was decent but not fantastic.

good story

A good story but very disappointed with the editing. Numerous words misspelled and words used out of syntax. Made it difficult for me to read. I’m fixated on that stuff and it’s aggravating

I dont understand what happened here. It is as if 2/3rds of the book are missing. The bones are here for a solid book just liek #1. Instead its as if the author just stepped out for a a second and someone else hit the send button without her knowing it and it went to press. Complete let down. :(

Good series, wanted to finish it, but I do not like novellas. You just get into the story and it ends.

A very good read. The way this book connected to the two previous books in this series was very interesting. Good characters. Good storyline. It was difficult to put down.

Reminder to self to not buy more of these even if price is low. Too many grammar and punctuation errors. Abbreviated plot, absurdly fanciful. The bonus book is gory, not for me.

Amazing

What a great story. All the characters were well thought out. The plot was the best I've read in a long time. I read a lot of Debora Webb, and this book did not dissapoint.

Great Finnish to a series I wish would continue. I am looking forward to my next Debra Webb story, or better series.

Short but good

Nice ending to the Bone series. Webb is a gifted storyteller, and the weaning of three separate tables is well done!

From start to finish you will not be able to put this book down. I was happy it wasn't long but also sad because it was written so well. Love Debra Webb's writings!
