Sometimes the wrong number is the exact one you need.
Being set up on a Valentine’s date by your co-worker has to be the epitome of patheticness, but here I am about to go on a date with someone I haven’t met. I didn’t even tell my boss they could give out my number. But they did. Are they returning my calls? Of course they aren’t. I should stay home and pretend the message was never received, but I’m up for a big promotion and apparently “No” is not in my vocabulary.
Only when I get to the restaurant, it isn’t a date at all. The place is packed and the owner is the one who misdialed my number. He doesn’t want me here for a night of romance, he needs a last-minute fill-in after their dishwasher broke an arm—the dishwasher with the same name as my boss. Talk about getting everything wrong.
I have two choices, leave or do dishes. Leaving is the obvious choice, but there’s something about the smexy alpha who accidentally called that has me not ready to leave. I can do dishes for one night, right?
Wrong Number, Right Valentine is a sweet with knotty heat MM Mpreg romance featuring an omega human turned dishwasher, the alpha wolf who accidentally called him, a chaotic night at the most romantic restaurant in town, a Valentine’s Day to remember, true love, fated mates, an adorable baby, and a happy ever after. If you love your alphas hot, your omegas strong, and your mpreg with heart, download your copy today.
Colbie’s characters are sexy, hot, adorable - and often filthy - alphas and omegas. They include feudal lords with dark secrets, outrageous aristocrats with scandals buried deep in their past and poverty-stricken gentleman who have gambled away their inheritance.
Lurking in the background are notorious kings, princesses, and courtiers whose opinions change with each whisper in their ear.
And as for Colbie herself? She dictates her steamy stories with a glass of champagne in one hand. Because why not?
Banks thinks he's heading into an awkward blind Valentine's date, thanks to a meddling coworker. But when he arrives at the restaurant, he learns there was never a date at all—the owner, Reg, had misdialed his number and was actually searching for a last-minute kitchen replacement. Faced with the choice to walk away or roll up his sleeves, Banks considers leaving. But something about the rugged, no-nonsense Reg makes him stay. One night of dishwashing? Surely, he can handle that. What he didn’t expect was that the wrong number might lead to exactly the right connection.
I enjoyed this story with Banks being an accidental dishwasher for the evening. I did find the story a bit too brief and lacking in details. There were very few emotions and feelings considering that Banks was introduced to a whole new world. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
I liked this new story of the series quite a lot. The way Banks and Reg get together took it a step further than just the wrong number and it added a bit to make things more entertaining.
Banks was helping his boss plan their itinerary for the month. When his boss suggested he sign up for an app. That's how he met his mate so maybe it would work for him. Then he gets a call about meeting on Valentine's day at a famous restaurant. He's told to wear comfy shoes. He can't believe his boss would sign him up in an app. But he's going to go. Reg owns the hottest restaurant in town. It's totally chaotic now because it's Valentine's Day. He is enjoying that the business has been booming today. But it seems love isn't in the cards for him. His life is his restaurant. He is also a romantic kind of wolf and figures his fated mate will show up when the time is right. So for now he flies solo. Then to add more chaos to the day one of his people calls in and says he won't be in due family illness. As he's hanging up the phone he hears a crash and rushes back to the kitchen to find his dishwasher on the floor. He helps him up and takes him to the hospital where he is diagnosed with a broken foot. But his dishwasher says he has a friend who could help. He goes to call and as typical as he's leaving a message to come in he drops the phone in water. AAAAAAAAAAARGH!! All he can hope is that his dishwasher's friend gets there to help. Reg's wolf smells Banks as he walks in. When he looks he sees an elderly man but behind him is an unelderly man. He takes him to the back and explains about his dishwasher and how he said Banks could fill in. Meanwhile his wolf is willing and ready to mark and mate him. While Banks is doing the dishes, Reg is working out front. His wolf is complaining. So Reg has to explain that their mate is human and it will take a while to get him to accept them. Then he suggests that Banks get something to eat and Banks tells him to eat with him. So they have dinner...linguini...picture tramp with lady thoughts going through Banks mind. AFter the restaurant closes the confusion gets figured out and a read date is set. On their first date they go to an ice rink and find a hot chocolate bar. Then they head back to the restaurant. Eventually Reg takes him to the forest and shows him his wolf. Banks is excited and thrilled. They eventually go to Reg's pack where Banks meets the family and the pack. They finally mate and Reg marks his mate. Now it's find a house time which isn't that easy. But they do find one finally. Then Reg smells that his human omega is pregnant. Insecurities abound for Banks but Reg helps him through some. How will this pregnancy affect Banks and his job? Or Reg's? Life is never easy but love will get them through, right? A cute sappy story.

Oh my goodness, funny, sweet, over the top and simply perfect. I think those have to be the first descriptions that come to mind from reading this delight of a book which, as perfect as it is (and it really is) for Valentine's is also perfect for any time that you need/want a book full of hot, steamy, sexy alpha and omega. A lot of humour, mistaken plans and, well love! Is it sappy yes. Does it convert readers into sappy valentine day loving people, perhaps not or maybe that is just me, as cynical as Brock (our gorgeous omega)!
Brock is single, not necessarily a happy single though he is happy but of course a man in his life would be wonderful. As it is coming up to Valentine and his boss, also a good friend, is happily married he has decided to set Brock up with a blind date. The text comes, with some odd instructions but Brock is willing to take a chance and so, comfy shoes, some alternative clothing options and he is off to the restaurant named, to meet his date.
Reg is having a challenging day. One of his staff has called in sick for the week, his son is ill. Another has broken his foot. One would not have been so bad. Two? This could cause problems and Reg needs someone in the kitchen for the dishes. Foster, the one who broke his foot recommends a friend. Reg texts them and then continues with his day. Well he tries to but his phone takes a dive and not a good one, so he has to hope the temporary help will turn up. The are fully booked for Valentine's day dinners!
Can you see where this might be going? The answer is yes. This is a case of mistaken texting but it is a wrong that goes so very right all is forgiven in almost the first instant. After this first, very entertaining aspect of the story we get to know the characters as they get to know one another, we discover more about the dynamics between Alpha and Omega, wolf and human, family and pack. It is fascinating, determinedly sexy and written with a confidence that shows the author has put time and thought into the characters, their voices, their personalities, their differences and how that can all work so seamlessly together when it is what both parties want.
This book had me grinning from ear to ear, fanning myself and quite simply unwilling to stop reading until I had got to the final pages. It is a charming, beautiful story and whilst I might not be sold on the whole Valentine's day thing - I am still a cynic where that is concerned - I am very much sold on true love!
Wrong Number, Right Valentine is part of the ‘Dial M for Mates’ series. It stars Banks, a human omega, and Reg, an Alpha wolf shifter. This is told in first person from Banks and Reg’s povs.
I’ve read a few other books from this series, and I don’t feel that this is as good as some of the others. It felt too long, and I think that was because the first half of the book was flat with bland character voices that sounded the same. The mistake of a blind date that brings them together isn’t explained well. I had to go back and re-read how the authors set up the scenes and the explanation, and it still wasn’t clear. Readers shouldn’t have to work hard to understand what is happening in the plot of a fluffy romance. As I mentioned, nothing much happened until about fifty percent after they had sex. Once they went to pack lands there was more action.
There’s a lot of monologue by both characters as they tell their thoughts, feelings, and describe their environment. The long monologues probably helped make the story seem longer, and flat in tone.
As I mentioned, the character voices were quite similar. When I couldn’t figure out whose pov I was reading, I had to go back to the chapter’s beginning to read the character name and this happened frequently. Reg and Banks were okay characters, just not that unique or interesting.
Wrong Number, Right Valentine filled the Valentine holiday prompt, but the plot was bland and the characters not unique. There are more entertaining reads in this series that I’d suggest before this book. I give this, 2 Stars.

WRONG NUMBER, RIGHT VALENTINE is part of the Dial M for Mates series. I haven't read any of the other books in this series and I don't think it affected my enjoyment of this book, because I did enjoy it, just maybe not as much as I had hoped I would.
This is set in an Omegaverse world (sort of) although when I started reading it, it just felt contemporary and I had to double-check the blurb. Banks' boss, Foster, sets him up on a blind date for Valentine's Day. Somehow (which is never really explained) Reg rings Banks because HIS Foster gave him Banks' number (or one that should have been slightly different considering he was high on painkillers, I'm guessing), and arranges for him to come to the restaurant. Banks thinks it's his blind date. Reg thinks he's getting a dishwasher.
This was a sweet story but I was never invested in the characters, so it never really clicked for me. I felt as though I was reading a series of events without being bothered about the outcome.
It is well-written, well-paced, and the characters and situations fit the story. It just didn't grip me as I wanted it to.
I do recommend this book to anyone who has read others in the series, or wants a light and fluffy book.

This is another Great Book to Read! This book is part of the Dial M for Mates series. This is about finding your fated mate. Banks is a human omega working and spending time alone in his apartment. His boss says he needs to get out more and sets him up on a blind date. Banks receives a voicemail on his phone thanking him for being able to come to Sizzle and Chill, and to wear comfortable shoes. Banks is excited and terrified at the same time but he goes anyway. Reg is an alpha wolf shifter who is owner of the Sizzle and Chill Restaurant. It is Valentines Day and everything is going wrong. His dishwasher fell and broke his foot, one of his servers called out because his son is sick and in the hospital. The dishwasher Foster gave Reg the number of a friend who is willing to come be the dishwasher for the night. Reg calls and leaves a message then drops his phone in the water. When Banks shows up and asks for Reg, he is excited and confused about the clothes Banks is wearing. Banks agrees to wash the dishes and gets to work. At the end of the night when Reg goes to pay Banks they realize the mistake. Reg asks Banks out on a real date to make up for the Date that Banks missed. After spending time together they both realize that they have something special. Will Banks go running when he sees Reg's wolf??? Will Reg get to have Banks as his fated mate in the end????.

The Dial M for Mates series just gets better and better. Colbie Dunbar keeps it fresh and original. And Wrong Number, Right Valentine is certainly that. Banks, an omega, thinks he's going on a quirky Valentine blind date. Reg, the owner of one of the city's most popular restaurants, thinks Banks is the backup dishwasher. It's an unusual and original meet cute. Reg and his wolf scent that Banks is his mate, but he's human. And he'd need to go slow. Banks has no interest in going slow. Not sure I'd call this a slow burn, but the first kiss isn't until the book is halfway done. Not that that is a bad thing, because there's lots of worldbuilding and getting to know this pair. Dunbar does make up for the slow start with a really, fan your face, hot second half. The pregnancy is as usual and the delivery was alright, but I just finished Dunbar's Wrong Train, Right Wolf, and can't imagine how she'll top THAT delivery. Bank's food cravings and his worry that he can't relate to a shifter child because he's human are interesting side arcs. Reg is supportive and talks his mate down from the ledge. They're a well matched pair. This was a quick, lite and fun story. So little angst. Just a bit.

Banks, the omega here, is a hoot!! He’s silly and you just know, tons of fun to be around. When his boss fixes him up on a blind date, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot when he first shows up to the nice restaurant, all dressed up and sees his date.
Reg, an alpha and “his date,” thought he had too as soon as his wolf got a whiff of Banks except, it’s Valentines Day, the busiest day of the year for restaurants and Banks is his temporary employee, there to do a job. He can’t hit on him right now!
Banks say what??!! A job? Washing DISHES??!!! This was supposed to be a date! He wore his nice dress pants that emphasized his cute butt and EVERYTHING!!
There were lots of comedic moments here, almost exclusively caused by Banks but it wasn’t like ‘roll your eyes’ ridiculous (or I didn’t think so), I genuinely thought they were hilarious and I LOVED Reg and Banks together. They were both thoughtful and caring for the other and it was so dang sweet how Reg spoiled and took care of his omega. There was absolutely no angst involved, (YESS!!!) just a couple completely obsessed with each other and the sweetest epilogue. 4.5 stars!!.

This was a very cute story. I love how Reg’s family and pack accepted Banks, even before meeting him, and kind of wish there was more interaction with them, especially with his parents.
Banks sure does have a one track (dirty) mind. I feel like that’s all he could think about. It was mostly funny but as that’s not really my style, it did kind of start to get a little annoying. It was well written though so I could see how others could vibe with it even if I don’t, lol.
The scene with the bunny was really sad to me. I know Reg is a wolf so the scene kind of made sense, but at the same time, it just seemed kind of cruel. I don’t think I have to give any spoilers for anyone to guess what might happen based on my wording but if it sounds like something you wouldn’t like, just know that it’s only a couple of pages and you can always skip over the scene. I still recommend reading regardless. I just personally don’t like reading things like that in stories.
Overall, it’s a very cute story and I love how they turned a mistake into a Valentine’s Day tradition, even finding time to still do it while being busy with a baby.

Omega Banks thought he was going on a blind Valentine’s Day date. Instead, he got mistaken for a dishwasher and put to work in a busy restaurant kitchen. Walking away would’ve made sense—except the restaurant’s owner, Reg, was way too handsome to ignore. Alpha wolf shifter Reg knew the second he saw Banks that fate had just handed him his mate. But there was one problem—Banks was human, and he had no idea shifters even existed. Taking things slow was the plan… until their connection became impossible to deny. One night turned into forever, and before they knew it, they were moving in together, preparing for a future… and expecting a baby. Now, Banks is navigating pregnancy, pack traditions, and figuring out how to raise a shifter child when he’s fully human. But with Reg by his side, he’s ready to take on anything. What started with a wrong number led to the right person, the right love, and the life neither of them ever expected. Steamy fated mates, MM, wolf shifter, omegaverse romance, with mpreg, exploring love, connection, family, secrets, and belonging.
Sometimes calling the wrong number is the right thing. Bank’s boss sets him up on a blind date for Valentine’s Day a simple yet understanding mistake lead to a dishwasher that really wasn’t a dishwasher ….yep you will have to read that again but once your read the set up you will understand it all. Banks a human arrives at Sizzle and Chill with comfortable shoes as instructed and Reg an alpha shifter the owner of Sizzle and Chill Valentine’s Day is a day that everything went wrong dishwasher broke, server son got sick needed to go to the hospital, his friend gave him a number for the guy who would come and wash dishes for him so when Banks shows up you guessed it but he stays to help the alpha out and you would believe they actually hit it off especially after their real date but where are they headed, will Banks accept all of him including his wolf, and will they find happiness along the way?
This book is part of the Dial M for Mates series. It is based on the premise of a mis-dialed call. This is the story of Reg and Banks. Reg is the proud owner of his restaurant Sizzle and Grill. He is also an alpha wolf shifter. When he loses two of his employees for Valentines Day service, he texts Banks with a time and place to show up to help. After dropping his phone in the water, he is unable to follow up. He hopes Banks shows up. Banks on the other hand is an omega human. He thinks his boss has set him up on a blind date through a dating app. He shows up expecting to be wined and dined; not put to work. This is their story. The book is written well and is easy to read. I didn't enjoy it as much as I usually do with this author's book. I wasn't really invested in their getting a happy ending. If you are looking for a quick escape, this is a light and fluffy read.

'I opened my mouth to explain the mix-up, but he glanced over his shoulder and his smile warmed my heart. Gods, it was his secret weapon, and I’d agree to anything if he continued grinning at me.'
This is one of my favorite series by this duo, and I love that it's just in time for Valentine's Day. A wrong number, two different people with the same name, and a mix-up that brings Banks right to Reg. But his wasn't Banks' boss setting him up on a date, it was Reg misdialing and asking him to come in for a job after being recommended by his employee of the same name. It was such a fun situation. Banks hadn't been interesting in dating, but was actually looking forward to it, which was cute. But when the handsome man thought he was there to work and smiled at him like that, would he fess up to the mix-up and go, or stay?
These two were so cute together! A very fun romance. Loved it. 5 stars.
I really enjoyed reading this story about Banks who is a human omega whose boss sets him up for a blind date on Valentine’s Day. He goes to meet his blind date with the name Reg and the restaurants name. Reg is the owner of the restaurant Sizzle and Grill, where Banks has arrived at expecting to meet his date, but Reg mistakenly assumes that he is the replacement dishwasher and puts him to work. Reg is an alpha wolf shifter and recognises Banks as his fated mate. Once the night is over and the mistake has passed, Reg and Banks make a date for the next night. They get along well and they end up in bed together after the date. I really liked how their relationship flowed and progressed to the point where they go on to their happily ever after.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.
Like all the others in this series this book is charming, delightful, sweet, sexy, and fun. I fell in love with Reg and Banks from the first pages. From the blind date, to two men with the same name, to an instant attraction, to a fated mate pull between a wolf and a human. This story flows smoothly. I was swept along, gliding easily. The initial mix-up, the dishwashing, the dinner, the hot sex, all add up to, not a date, but a memorable Valentine's Day. Look or an adorable wolf reveal, pack acceptance, pregnancy cravings, and a birth to remember. I simply loved this book. You will too. So, hurry. Get. It. Now!.

Fate was working overtime to cause this much confusion for the characters! Banks, a human omega, is set up for a blind date to celebrate Valentine’s Day. He is directed to Sizzle and Chill where the alpha wolf shifter owner, Reg, is expecting a substitute dishwasher when his employee has an accident and can’t work on their busy night. Banks is a bit confused when he gets there, but agrees to wash the dishes as requested. Things do get sorted out at the end, and Reg, who has just found his mate, invites Banks on an actual date to make up for confusion. Will Banks be willing to accept that his “date” is a shifter and that they belong together? Or will he need more convincing?
3,5 Reg & Banks first meeting was a bit confusing for me since the side characters had a same name. I think that was the wrong number explained. This MM shifter/human fated mates romance is sweet and quick as expected by the author. I did like the pack and family getting involved on the sidelines of this novella. I however kept wondering where Banks his family and friends in all this. Also what actual job he holds, I might have missed that. I felt the story was more worked out on Reg his side. As almost always they do get their hea with a baby of their own.
If you like a light fluffy no angst novella this is for you.

What one won't do for passion. Reg, alpha wolf shifter and owner of the restaurant, Sizzle and Chill is having a nightmare day from a business perspective. He makes a call for a replacent dishwasher and uknowingly reaches the wrong person. Banks, omega human spends his life isolated. Foster, his boss, sets him up on a blind date. When he gets a message on his phone, he shows up at the restaurant expecting to meet a date, but finds Reg expecting a dishwasher. He has a choice of washing dishes or going home. Fun times when names get mixed up. Delightful story, Reg and Banks, are delightful men and their inner dialogues are a hoot. Getting to know these two men is fun. Good story, great flow, nice cover art. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Banks’s boss set him up for a blind date for Valentine’s Day by his boss which he wasn’t happy about, then gets a voice message from Reg so he goes but Reg hadn’t called him for a date but for a dishwasher. Reg’s dishwasher broke his foot so when Reg took him home he gave Reg his friend’s number to come and help out, the dishwasher and Banks boss had the same name so confusion. Banks got to the restaurant Reg put him to work as dishwasher but they felt a pull between them so the evening ended great for them. Reg shows Banks his wolf then took Banks to meet his family who loved him.

I loved Wrong Number, Right Valentine: Dial M For Mates. Banks thinks he’s going on a blind date and when he gets there he’s put to work by Reg. Turns out Reg called the wring number but he’s not upset because Banks is his mate. Banks doesn’t mind either because he’s happy to meet Reg. Now they are navigating a budding relationship but Reg needs to tell Banks the truth about being his mate and what that entails. I loved the story and the characters. I always love her characters and feel like they could be your friends. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

The blurb sets this story up perfectly for human Banks to meet his wolf mate Reg, thinking he is going on a blind date on Valentine’s Day, instead washing dishes in Reg’s restaurant— all thanks to a wrong number to the right person —fate is involved again in an entertaining new series from Colbie Dunbar and Lorelei M. Hart. Great characters, as always, with a form of meet-cute to find a fated mate. Short, enjoyable, easy to read tales, perfect to fill in a yen for a low-angst, sweet shifter read with fated mates and babies to complete a family.

Yogurt herb sauce, s'mores-making gadget, wolfy pregnancy detector, rabbit, gray or lilac?, French toast or pizza?, pancake pen
Another book for the 'Dial M for Mate' series. If a book could be cotton candy, it would be this book. Light, airy, fluffy, sweet, and yummy. It's to be enjoyed, and not feel guilty for having it. It makes you feel good and happy.
Banks and Reg are cute together. They have a whirlwind romance. This is even after Reg reveals to Banks, a human omega, that he's an alpha wolf shifter. The rest of the book unfolds like the other books in this series. Recommended.
Banks goes on a blind date but the message had come to the wrong number. Banks gets a message saying that they had got his number from Foster and thinks this is the blind date his boss had threatened him with but he decides to go.Reg owns a busy restaurant and when his dishwasher breaks his foot he counts it good fortune that the injured man gives him a friend's number who will cover for him. Both get more than they expect.

DNF @ 49%. The characters were just way too cringe. So first problem is that this is an alpha/omega story and you can’t differentiate between which is which. They both have omega mentality, which is fine if that’s what the premise was about. Secondly, who confuses a date for a working shift. Now yes there could’ve been a misunderstanding but damn why did he work the shift instead of correcting the mistake up front. So then im stuck reading about the ramblings of both while daydreaming and working. No. Please no. I couldn’t.
Banks and Reg story was hilariously cute, with a couple of unpredictable events, unique reactions to important revelations, and lots of snort worthy circumstances. I liked how they met and how their relationship progressed, as well as how he was introduced to the shifter side of the family. I loved their bundle of joy and the birthing scene, as well as all the preparations made for it’s arrival. I enjoyed the story, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.
Wrong Number, Right Valentine by Colbie Dunbar is a charming mix of mistaken identity, swoon-worthy romance, and laugh-out-loud moments. With witty banter and heart-melting chemistry, this story proves that sometimes, love is just one misdial away. If you’re a fan of rom-coms with a dash of fate and a whole lot of feels, this one’s a perfect match!.

Wrong Number, Right Valentine is part of the Dial M For Mates series. Each book can be read as a standalone but why not enjoy the rest of the series. This is the story of Banks a human omega and Reg an alpha wolf shifter. This was a fun quick read just like the other Dial M For Mates books. I enjoyed the mix up and how it led to these two getting together. This was just a fun easy enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend this book and series.
Wrong Number, Right Valentine is part of the Dial M For Mates series by Colbie Dunbar and Lorelei M. Hart. This is a sweet romance between a sexy alpha and a lonely omega. When Reg dials the wrong number looking for help in his kitchen, Banks shows up thinking it's a blind date. Instead of leaving Banks stays and helps. And an unlikely romance ensues. Delightful story.
