There are only three things Michelle Dayton loves more than sexy and suspenseful novels: her family, the city of Chicago, and Mr. Darcy. Michelle dreams of a year of world travel – as long as the trip would include weeks and weeks of beach time. As a bourbon lover and unabashed wine snob, Michelle thinks heaven is discussing a good book over an adult beverage.

Jo was sitting in the coffee shop watching Heather on the other side of the room waiting for their mark to arrive and take the bait.

The bait for a cheating husband. Jo ran a romance scam, but her targets were wealthy and well-known cheaters. She had stringent rules for her four employees and other than their first contact in person everything else was by email or Zoom calls.

They only had one more night in San Francisco before heading back to Chicago and having Sloan not responding to her calls was starting to worry her. Especially when she finds out she went rogue and selected a mark on her own.

Jo had rules for a reason and Sloan had picked the wrong man as her target.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book has its own HEA, but the characters in this series are interconnected and having that background will make this book even more like being a friend on the inside.

These girls are scammers but you can't hate them since they are so loveable. This book is action-packed and full of smoking-hot chemistry. This book has a lot of 'what a small world' moments that will keep you laughing even as Jo freaks out. But the final twist was totally unexpected.

Highly recommend!

What a read! I hadn’t read anything that had this type of premise and I was thoroughly entertained! This was immensely entertaining and I couldn’t put it down once I started it!! Highly recommend!

I am leaving my honest review after reading an ARC copy.
