The first Exceptional was born in 1914. In the over hundred years since, the world has changed as the Exceptionals Phenomenon has grown and evolved. Ace is the first and only member of the Fifth Generation. In the year 2029 the Exceptionals Enforcement Division, the E.E.D, is tasked with protecting normals, those without powers, from the Exceptionals, those with powers.
As a rookie member of the E.E.D Ace has already faced difficult tasks. She's seen friends die, but now she faces one of the most difficult challenges the E.E.D has ever faced. The Homo Superior Organization, a group of Exceptionals who claim that normals are a taint that needs to be wiped off the earth, has reared its head in New Davenport. Ace's team of Exceptionals, a Hero Unit of the E.E.D, is tasked with hunting them down and bringing them to justice.

Liked the story so far but probably need more about Ace's power and the voice thing she has in her head. overall a good read.
