After reading a couple fantastic books, I’m a bit in a reading slump at the moment. All are just okay reads, but nothing superb. This was again an okay read, nothing special. We have the manwhore rockstar and the heroine he didn’t notice before but pining for him for 3,5 years. He sleeps with everything with two legs and tosses them out once he’s done with them. And our heroine has to watch it. For 3,5 years. And still wants him. I rest my case. The one night he finally notices her and they start hitting it off, but once feelings come around the corner he makes such a dick move it’s hard to root for him any longer. This has a HFN ending, but I’m not so sure about him staying faithful forever.
Unsafe read. Hero was with OW on the plane and in the airport bathroom when heroine was picking him up after his flight. Thank God all off page. He’s flirting with OW at a party, but stops when he notices the hurt look on heroines face. Heroine has OM sexual harassing her, but she’s bad ass and can handle it herself. Hero dismisses OW once he is with heroine. When she tells him how he feels he panics and tosses her out after f*cking her like a groupie. He then has OW in his room the next day who gave him a HJ but didn’t let it go any further. Thankfully again off page. Of course the heroine sees him kissing that OW goodbye shirtless. Then he does a bit of groveling, but he couldn’t do me no good anymore.

I just can't get enough of the guys in the band, Affliction. And now we add a hot, rocker-chick manager!
Sasha has had her lust filled eyes on the guitarist Mick for years. And it is not until he realizes her jealously one night that he starts to "see" Sasha. And he likes what he sees and tastes.
The emotion and passion in this series is heart pounding. I loved every word of it. Only one more book to go. *Sniff*

Another of those 2010s era books where the MMC is a manwhore who screws everything and the MFC is the pathetic, sexless wimp obsessing over him. Lord this trope is infuriating. I had to skim through this shit just to make it to the end.
Anyone with a brain knows rock bands screw around. But so the hell do their managers! Heaven forbid a female get laid in this universe unless its awful and happens once every two years. Which this so-called tough doormat couldn't even manage to do. The way she moons over this sack of shit goes beyond pathetic. And of course she's gorgeous but insecure. She's actually impressed he turns down an easy lay after they are pretty much a couple. Talk about a low threshold for romance. It's almost enough to turn you off first POV.
If you love trope laden stories you may love this one. Including rescuing her from a perv - which of course our hero Mick isn't - insert gigantic eye roll. Cause almost fucking a groupie after your a couple isn't really that big a deal and truly is forgivable.

Ok so this is book five of the affliction series and so far this book is my favorite. It was more complete then the other books and absolutely more fun. Sasha was transferred from stage manager to manager of the band. The guys all loved her and she’d saved them on many occasions. Her secret? She’d been in love with Mick for over three years. Until one night when he saw her and hell what a night that was. Sasha is a tiny goth chick with a temper and a deadly right hook. This story is funny, sexy and so romantic I couldn’t put it down. I’m going to read the last book of this series next but I doubt it will compare to this one.

I love this series and this author says she writes her heroin as someone who doesn't take any shit from anyone. While that is true the drawback is that they cave to soon and forgive instantly. After Mick pursued her then she revealed that she wanted a future with him and then he did the dick move I was so frustrated that she instantly gave in. Otherwise this was a great addition to this series.

had all the ingredients for an angsty, tumultuous affair between what could be awesome characters...but that got rushed into perfect bless without any serious mess. Ingredients do not always make a plot come together....

These books have been to me like a packet of sweets which I have to find their flavor (although they are delicious, I have to find that flavor that makes them special) and it was a great delight.
To Unbearable, I found a special taste, a candy that is spicy for outside, but inside is sweet as honey. And I refer to spicy to the hot that this book is, to say that we have a very strong character female, and sweet as honey to the fact that there are moments that give a lot of laughter, very romantic and important times for Affliction’s band.
Definitely recommend reading of the previous stories because you finding spoilers and some important things, so you must go to your favorite store,and find them! Now we continue with this candy hot.

From the second or uhm third page, I was fascinated with her (thanks to your questions to Mick and phrases), is a smart, efficient girl at work and the group worships her, your problem: being in love of the most hot guitarist of this time, Mick Savage. From the first moment she met him, she officially felt a click with Mick but he never realized. Now she is working as band manager and she will have to deal with the life of rockstar that have Mick.
If to you has never liked one of the guitarists of your favorite band, I put you an X!! Amity put the essence of a guitarist in Mick, He is simply: funny, charismatic, hot very hot, talented but very clueless. He enjoy the life you have now, any woman would fall at his feet and the fame that he have now, on the top of the list, is thanks the only woman he has never set: Sasha Montgomery.
But everything in life has a limit and Sasha will find anything to keep Mick out of your life, but he will not easy,the strange behavior of her ,attracts their attention inmediately.
In this book you will find several characters that are already known ones and loved for those who have read the previous books. We will know more in depth about Sasha and what is surrounding to Affliction at this time. The fit of the above stories are perfectly introduced for this story, link the correct threads can create an amazing connection and the author achieves that clean jump.
It was fun to go through of the subway with the face like an apple red candy and suddenly laugh with the occurrences of Mr Savage and maybe sometime feel me sad for Sasha, if a book gives you these emotions and a not so elaborate manner and staying true his instinct is good sign!
I would definitely recommend it if you are a fan of the previous books You will love this! Mick is officially added to my list of hot guys and Sasha, simply I’m your fan.

This book was...explosive! It reminds me of the first three books with all the passion and drama and I have to tell you, I loved it! The main characters, Sasha and Mick, are amazing! I'm not sure which couple of love more from this series, Blair and West, or Sasha and Mick. Sasha is a tough chick that proved she can take care of herself and Mick is a man who knows what he wants.
Sasha Montgomery has everything she ever wanted. Well, everything, but the thing she wants most in the world. Mick. Mick is the lead guitarist of the rock band, Affliction, which she manages, and he is also the biggest playboy. That's why she wonders why on earth did she fell in love with him three-an-a-half years ago? He's infuriating, annoying, a player, yet, she can't get him out of her mind. He's all she ever wanted...but he doesn't even see her.

Mick thinks he has everything. He's doing what he loves and women fall at his feet. Living the life, he doesn't even see Sasha, his band's manager, until he finds out about her secret crush. Sasha realises that now she is the manager of Affliction, there is nowhere to hide. Sparks will fly and emotions will explode in their fight for a true relationship.

Sasha is the band's temporary manager. She has spent years crushing secretly on Mick and has watched Mick walk away with a different woman on his arm every night. She longs to be on his arm but he really is such a man-whore. He's leading the typical rock n roll lifestyle. She should be happy, having everything she could dream of, but there's only one man she's dreaming of and he hasn't even acknowledged her existence outside of work!

Loved this story, more for Sasha and her kick ass, take no sh*t from anyone.... except watching her crush for over 3 years, Mick. As their manager she has to interact with them a lot more and it kills her to see how he uses woman, only once and kicks them out. She knows that he has never even noticed her as a woman. She loves her position as Afflictions manager but when Mick promises to not use her, she takes a chance with both her heart and her job! Love Sasha and this book, can't wait to read book 6!

I love Sasha. She's the temp manager for Affliction. She was the stage manager, but when Furlough messed everything up, the band asked asked her to step up. And that she did. Mick is the man-whore lead guitarist. Sasha has had a crush on him for the past 3.5 years. She's in love with him. What will happen when he finds out about her crush on him and he actually really sees her? This is their story and I think it's my favorite, still have one more to go. I loved the scene in the lobby of the label's office.

This is Mick Savage and Sasha Montgomery's story. Mick is a massive man-whore, sleeping with any girl who looks his way. Sasha is Affliction's new temporary manager who has had a crush on Mick for three and a half years. Their relationship is a rocky one from the word go but man is it intense.
I love Sasha and her strong, punk rock personality and Mick, I just want to hit him most of the time.

I love a tale of unrequited love. My heart broke for Sasha. I really enjoyed this story, it was so damn hot! I didn't feel as much of a connection with Mick as I did with Joe or West though. He was an ass and his actions weren't justified or explained. I also thought Sasha backed down a little too easily. So the characters pissed me off a little but what's a book without giving you the feels? Very well written. Onto the next one!

Urgh Mick!!!! I started off not liking him. He's childish, selfish and comes across as a bit of a prick. Then there's Sasha, who's had a massive crush on him for ages. When Mick finds out how Sasha feels he tries to change. I ended up loving this story. I am now a massive fan of Micks, loved how his character developed and even though he annoyed me, i probably like him the best out of the alliction boys.

Omg i love sasha! Loved this story! I know what it feels like to not be noticed by a crush. I didn't actually love them and never landed them but it makes me glad it worked out for sasha in this story!

After reading Amity Cross's books on Affliction I can't give nothing else but 5 stars to these books. The story of Mick & Sasha is another that has hit the mark right on the head.

I love Sasha and Mick. I find this one the best out of the series even though their story wasn't as glorified as Jake and Blairs I love how they mesh and come together.
