This is an easy read that provides a 30,000 foot view of all topics repeated to the paranormal. It briefly covers major religions, philosophy, history of spiritualism and paranormal research and more. It’s a great introduction for someone who is completely new to the paranormal. If you are passionate about the topic or have done some research before, it can be a good refresher, but is not a deep dive into any topic in particular. Could act as a good reference book, or paranormal encyclopedia.

Recommend if you are someone who hasn’t looked into the paranormal beyond the TV shows or are young and have newly discovered ghost hunting.

3 stars because it is not what I am looking for at the moment and the breaking up of the chapters into smaller, titled sections interrupted my pace of reading. To be fair to the author I did not finish it, just because I was looking for a deeper dive.
