Dear For Christmas, I want my boyfriend to come home from his mission safely.
Of course, that’s what I told everyone when they asked. But deep down, I was struggling with the knowledge that I would probably never get what I truly wanted—what I craved to experience more than anything.
That was until the annual Marine Corps toy donation, where I sat in Santa’s lap and made my wish. The love of my life surprised me with his presence and even more so with his promises. I just didn’t think it would take sharing me with his best friend to achieve it.
And more than that, I certainly didn’t expect to love it as much as I did, nor to long for more.
The Devil Dogs planned to give me the best present of all time.
to sum it up as short as the page count, this novella featured 3 main characters (MFM) who all took a trip to see and experience the Eiffel tower together and then decided to live in paris forever with hopes of a baby on the way🗼
I really enjoy this. I actually wish this was a full-length book. I needed more interaction with the best friends and even a back story of the friendship. And then, of course, everything with the girlfriend.
✨Longing for More by C.S. Silverne is a deeply moving and beautifully written story that will tug at your heartstrings.❤️🩹 Aspen and Ryder are suffering from infertility so they ask their trusted friend Lucas. But in the process they discover something special🥹. Aspen, Ryder and Lucas are each have such an amazing relationship! Each brought something to the book. 🫶🏽 It’s an emotional book makes me want to cry.😭
The spice in the book is immaculate!🥵 The romantic arc is both tender and passionate, with moments that leave you breathless.🤌🏽It’s not just about finding love—it’s about embracing vulnerability, facing fears, and daring to reach for more in life. I definitely RECOMMEND this book!! 🙌🏽
Tropes: MFM Baby fever + Breeding Double age gap Praise kink Military + Homecoming “Call him Daddy” “Mamas”
I received an arc for this and I devoured it within two hours!
I can’t wait to see it where this throuple goes! I really enjoyed it. Quick read! This is my second book I’ve read of CS and I’ve yet to be disappointed!
“The room growing silent as exhaustion & euphemism mixed into one content bubble.” “I’m yours. Both of yours.”
Thank you to the author for an E-ARC! This is a very fast paced novella and i enjoyed how the author was able to give enough background to set the tone / give depth to the characters within this novella. I think the flow was done well and it was extremely as spicy as promised. But I will say is that I wish they talked more about expectations and what the future holds and also on their limits and expectations as a new throuple…. they kind of went with the flow and i’m not sure if i liked that or not…. Hopefully the next novella in the sequel will dive into that and explore those connections and communications before they get their wish…
If you’re looking for a quick steamy Christmas novella look no further. As the author notes, the book is at least 70% spice.
The novella does well in setting up the characters as there will be more coming from this novella. The only criticism I have is I wish we’d get a scene where the throuple talks things over before diving in so to speak. Talking about your limits so you all can consensually be on the same page is sexy.
Ooof. This short & spicy holiday novella was STEAMY. I Ioved the connection and chemistry between Aspen, Ryder and Lucas, and I can’t wait to see what happens for them next. Ryder’s and Lucas’s dominant personalities and shared possessiveness coupled with their gentle love and care and aftercare was so good. 🥵 While this is a mfm story, there were delicious hints throughout of it possibly becoming mmf, which I am totally here for. I obviously don’t know this for certain, it’s just a guess based on some of Ryder’s and Lucas’s little moments and the delicious sexual tension between them. Or maybe it’s a hope, rather 🤭. Either way, those little hints had me practically squealing and I’m hoping to see more of the connection between Ryder and Lucas, even if it remains platonic, as this trio’s story continues.

Excited to read more about these three, and anything else author C. S. Silverne has in store for us next. A huge thank you for the ARC opportunity!
This little novella was spicyyy and left me wanting more from the characters! This is a why choose MFM. Why choose isn't for everyone, so definitely read the trigger warnings before starting. I was hawt while reading this 🥵😂 these MC's and their filthy mouths! Whew! I wanted more from the ending because I wanted to see what would be next from these characters. But overall, I enjoyed this hawt novella!
I was so excited to be selected as an ARC reader for Longing for More by C.S. Silverne, a Military MFM novella that completely captured my attention. This was my first ARC outside of NetGalley, making it even more special to dive into this story.
The novella was incredibly well-written, with moments that had me literally laughing out loud. The chemistry between the characters felt genuine, and the dynamic between the trio was both heartwarming and steamy. I loved how the story balanced humor, emotional depth, and sizzling romance all in one.
That said, the ending left me both frustrated and eager—it ended on a cliffhanger! While I’m not usually a fan of those, it just means I’m desperate to see what happens next. I’m already counting down the days until the sequel so I can spend more time with these amazing characters. If you enjoy military romance, MFM dynamics, or novellas that pack a punch, this one’s definitely worth checking out!
Are you baby hungry this christmas season? Oh my gosh, this was what I needed 😂 90 pages of steamy goodness! I literally read this in hours, and I enjoyed it so much. I know it's just a novella, but mannnnnnn I want an epilogue!! 🥹 The writing was also 🤌🏻 I hope to read more from this author in the future! Thank you for letting me read your ARC 4.5✨️
Aspen, Ryder & Lucas left me Longing For More 😂🤭 but seriously less than 100 pages, and I'm absolutely enthralled by the 3 of them. Just obsessed. I do wish there was talk about them being a throuple because the sexual tension between Ryder and Lucas had me in a chokehold. I REALLLLLLLLLYYYYY hope this isn't the last of them.
Longing for More C. S. Silverne Release Dec. 6, 2024 If you’re feeling a little cold and you want to get warmed up, this is the read for you! This book is very very spicy and will heat you up in no time! 🌶️🌶️🥵🌶️🌶️
A very steamy Christmas Eve night indeed 😏 This book was 90 pages of smut and I was here for it. It was short and sweet and I think I have a breeding kink now 🤷♀️
4.5 stars 🥵 OMG, what a perfect little bite sized treat of a book! This is my first time reading anything by @authorcs.silverne and I look forward to the next one in this series! For being a short novella, it is jam packed with my favorite kinks: daddy, breeding, and praise. 🔥 Is this book 75% pure spice? Yes. Is this book still sweet and heartfelt? Also yes! The premise is that Ryder and Aspen are having some fertility struggles and so he comes up with a plan with his best friend to help make their Christmas wish come true. I actually very much appreciated some of the discussion between the characters as it felt a little more realistic for the situation they were in. This is a very quick read which is simultaneously nice but also sad because I really really want to see how this relationship plays out. Lucky for me I believe the next few books in this series follow the same couple and I can't wait to see what happens next!
This was a tiny little story that was basically written porn (instead of video porn), otherwise known as smut lol. It has a base plot; MMC (Ryder) wants to knock up his gf (Aspen) but can't because he's infertile, so he asks his BFF (Lucas) to do it. But the whole thing is basically just sex. This is a military, why choose, age gap, breeding romance with sub and dom content. I knew this was going to be a quick smut fix, so the lack of everything except the smut was not a surprise, nor was it a surprise how incredibly short it was. However, I removed stars because there were a few moments in it that felt iffy, if not downright wrong.
At the beginning of their threesome, when she is angry and doesn't want to do it, Lucas, the guy who was trying to get her pregnant, starts kissing her, and she doesn't kiss him back. In fact, she starts hitting him and pushing his shoulders. Her boyfriend, Ryder, watches it all and decides to let it slide for a little while longer to see if she changes her mind. That is not ok. Does she eventually submit? Yeah, of course, she does, for the sake of the plot. But that's assault. When a woman doesn't kiss you back and puts up a fight, that means fuck off. I realize that sitting down and discussing things would have made the author have to write out a few more pages, but I'm pretty sure it's worth it to save us all from the typical alpha-a-hole-macho bullshit.
Secondly, when you are introducing a new dom to a pairing that already has a dom, you should never assume the sub has experienced everything. Nor should you introduce new things to the sub without talking about it prior or at least getting an idea of what they are into or can handle. Ryder hits Aspen (the FMC) on the cheek, and she's shocked by it because he has never done it before. She says it didn't hurt, and it excited her, but he shouldn't have introduced something like that without prior smacking being involved. Just because someone enjoys being spanked doesn't mean they like being smacked.
If I wanted to be really picky, I could point out the fact that Ryder started touching her while she thought he was someone else, and yet she didn't deck him. When he touched her further, and she told him to back off, and he didn't, she still put up with it. Even though she was surrounded by marines, who would have been more than happy to break his arms off. That whole scene could have and should have gone a different way.
I would like to say thank you to the author for allowing me to be part of the arc team and this is my honest review of what I read.
Rating: 4.5 Spice: 4
If you are looking for a quick pure spice read, this novella is one you definitely need to pick up. In this novella, we meet Aspen and her loving Marine boyfriend, Ryder. It’s Christmas time and Ryder wants to give Aspen what they truly want, a baby. But sadly, he can’t because he is infertile. But Ryder realizes that there is a way for him to give Aspen what she wants, and that's through their trusted close/best friend, Lucas. Ryder wants Lucas to get Aspen pregnant, and if Aspen wants this too, maybe the three of them will be a family, the family they already are, just now Lucas is “involved” more.
I must admit, I internally cheered when I read that Lucas was not only Latino but bisexual! I am Latina and bisexual so whenever I get little representation snippets like this, especially when doubled up, my heart bursts with joy. Aspen seems so sweet and loving, Ryder such a good and caring boyfriend and Lucas being a great trusted friend, now family member, to them. When I saw the breeding tag for this novella, no hesitation signed up for the arc. I ENJOY audios and stories that have breeding involved (not forced breeding, let’s make that clear!) and this novella got those good goosebumps going! Yes, the spice was SPICING! Made me wish I was in Aspen’s shoes while reading.
One TINY thing did get me while reading, but am able to forgive since this is a novella. The note that Lucas was willingly to do this because he wanted to be a father, but it's like his attraction to Ryder and Aspen started the second Ryder mentions this idea to him. It's just a personal thing since it's a big jump from “they are my best friends” to “I am attracted to them as more than friends” in one conversation when Lucas has known them for a while, assuming by what the novella gives. But again, personal note and hey, it's a novella full of spice. Something I am so able to let slide!
All in all, I enjoyed this novella and being this is book 1, I am hoping we get more of this loving throuple. If we don’t that’s cool, but I will imagine them being happy all together with as many kids as they wanted!
This holiday novella was a genuinely pleasant surprise, and it’s a real shame that it’s so short. With more space to breathe, it could have grown into something truly fantastic. What struck me most was the infertility theme and how it becomes the catalyst that pushes these three characters to take a step forward in their future relationship on Christmas night.
In just 91 pages there isn’t much room for deep exploration, yet the story still managed to get under my skin surprisingly fast. Ryder and Lucas, in particular, stole the show. Their dominant personalities, shared possessiveness, and the way that intensity is balanced with genuine tenderness, care, and aftercare was so well done. The connection between them felt incredibly compelling, and honestly, I found myself hoping for an MMF dynamic because these two have amazing chemistry as companions. Even if their bond remains platonic, I’d love to see it explored more as the series continues. Aspen, on the other hand, I couldn’t fully appreciate - her space in the story is somewhat overshadowed by Ryder’s and Lucas’s dynamic, but that didn’t stop me from being invested in the trio as a whole. Despite its length, this novella delivers serious heat, and the chemistry between Aspen, Ryder, and Lucas is undeniable.
If I had to point out one aspect that I dint' fully convince was how Ryder and Lucas handled the situation with Aspen at the beggining. I would have preferred more conversation before things turned heated. That aside, this novella is absolutely approved. I’m excited to read more about these three and to see what C. S. Silverne has in store next.
I really enjoyed this MFM military romance by Silverne. It is noted in the foreword that this is 70% spice, and that is a pretty accurate description of this book, but I really liked that the plot that was incorporated into the book is what it was. My heart was hurting for Aspen in the first few chapters, not going to lie; from missing her Marine boyfriend during Christmas to dealing with the recent infertility revelations, she had so much on her plate and yet was still putting a smile on her face to ensure that the kids around her had a great Christmas. Ryder is such a great book boyfriend 🥹; that man proved that he will literally do anything to give the love of his life what she wants and it was so heartwarming. I also really loved Lucas - his running commentary at the beginning when Ryder first approached him had me laughing out loud, while other bits had my heart aching for this man. I cannot wait to see what is in store for the three of them in the future books. It did end on a bit of a cliffhanger, but as readers are warned about it, I was able to mentally prepare myself for it, and I thought that it was still a wholesome place to finish for the time being.

longing for more is a christmas novella but honestly, you can read this at any time of the year. my kindle said i would read it in a hour and 37 minutes, but i finished it within a hour because c.s. silverne’s writing style is smooth like butta. 🙂↔️ it’s the perfect book to pick up when you’re in a spicyy mood because it gets right to it. 😮💨 the love the mmcs have for the fmc is so so sweet. the spice is finger licking type of DELICIOUS. your honor, i fear i am a whøre because i was holding my breath for a double pen scene that unfortunately did not happen. 😔🤣 BUT the mmcs did say “one day” so maybe we’ll get it next christmas? idk maybe if i beg c.s. hard enough (with consent and respect ofc), she will write it into her next christmas book. 🤞🏼😂
if you like… 🪖 military mmcs ✨ mfm (him and his bestie) 🪖 c v c k ✨ br e e ding 🪖 his bestie calls her “mamas” 🥵 ✨ they share her — because sharing is caring 😌 then reading longing for more by c.s. silverne! available on e book, paperback, and it’s on kindle unlimited ❣️

Thank you so much CS Silverne for the opportunity to ARC read for you again. This is my second read of theirs and I have enjoyed both of these spicy novellas.
yep. I am overheating and sweating after this one. Absolutely devoured. This was so wildly up my alley. I loved this so much. Hell I would take a whole NOVEL of these three. I want all of their stories. I loved them all.
Aspen, Lucas, and Ryder are all just perfect and they work so perfectly together in their little new developing relationship together. I liked how there was a bit of an emotional ride to this storyline at first because Aspen and Ryder can’t have kids due to infertility, so they ask their most trusted friend (Lucas) to help them become a family.
I honestly am over there LONGING FOR MORE. I want the whole throuple action (give me some Lucas and Ryder) and the development of their family growing and relationship as well. The spice was immaculate and this is truly the perfect spicy Christmas novella to add to your December TBR🤩
Tropes: 📖 MFM 📖 Praise Kink 📖 “Mamas” “Call him Daddy” 📖 Christmas Novella 📖 Double Age Gap 📖 Military Men & Homecoming 📖 Breeding/Baby Fever (also talks of infertility)
Longing for More comes out tomorrow, December 6th!! 🥵
This was a short, fun, and oh-so-spicy holiday novella that got me in my feels a couple times! I love the idea of a Marine finding a way to get home early and surprise his girl and the way it’s done in this story is cute and funny!
Ryder and Aspen have been together for years and because of his job as a Marine, he’s not around as much as either of them want. When they start talking about having kids and realize that he can’t, they look to other options.
Ryder, of course, turns to his best friend to join their relationship and get her pregnant…without talking to her. Even thou that sounds crazy, it just worked for their dynamic.
The dynamics that were able to be ironed out in this short novella between the three MCs was fantastic and you could feel their love and affection for each other! This novella was super short and ends on a mini HFN cliffhanger to, I think, set up for a novel of the three of them. If it’s anything like this novella, I say sign me up!
My only real critique, which made it a 4 star read, was how abrupt the ending felt. It’s obviously supposed to be short and quick but I found myself saying “wait, that’s the end?!” My biggest solace is that they’re supposed to get a full book, or so I heard! That would redeem it for sure!
This kinky lil' Christmas novella got me right into the holiday spirt and I already want to read more kinky holiday stories this season — so hit me up with all of your recs!
It still amazes me that this is only C.S. Silverne's second release (that debut novella was kinky as f*ck too and I cannot recommend it enough) because her storytelling (even with them being short and sweet) is absolutely brilliant — captivating me instantly.
C.S. Silverne left me 𝑳𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑴𝒐𝒓𝒆 (😉😉 — 𝒑𝒖𝒏 𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒅) because although I was completely satisfied with the 90 pages of steamy goodness — I just wasn't ready to leave Aspen, Lucas and Ryder behind — especially when things were just getting started! 😏
I already cannot wait for the author's next release because I am forever obsessed in her writing. Grab this spicy MFM holiday romance on December 6 when it drops and experience the holiday spirt!
This Novella by author C.S. Silverne truly is in competition with her first Novella, Prideful Ache. Both of them have me hooked but I hate to say, I think Longing For More took the best book in my heart! Longing For More showed that sometimes life has struggles and you figure out a way to live with those struggles. Now this one though, took a turn for the unexpected. Yet, I think we were all just fine with that!!
This book had a delicious level of smut and I loved how they truly incorporated everyone into the mix. This MFM kept everyone involved and really checked in with everyone in their new relationship journey. It felt like I was the extra best friend getting the gossip from Aspen about how she spent her Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I loved feeling like I was getting the inside scoop yet I was along with the journey and seeing everything opinions. I loved this Novella so much!!
This was a really good short novella which had me smiling from ear to ear.
Aspen and Ryder are desperate to start a family so when they find out that Ryder is in fact infertile they start thinking of what options they have.......in comes Ryder's friend Lucas 🥵 they are both in the military and have been friends for a long time, but can Lucas give them what they do desperately want?
This is a short Christmas novella sure to get you in the mood for smutmas! I did like the build up of the characters and of course the smut on point. The only thing lacking was the talking between the three of them as to where their relationship would be going and wish they chatted more about what they were letting themselves in for i.e I wish they would have had a real chat about what they were gonna do and not just throw themselves into it so to speak. If you like MFM, Military story, age gap and breeding kink then this is the story for you.
